I made a in app purchase on a game and it never took, when I went back and tried it again a window popped up that said I have already purchased this item but has not been downloaded yet? How do I download it when there is not a option to download?

I would suggest restarting the iPad and see if the download resumes.

It is likely you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to 4.2.1

I have read several posts with people who had similar problems of not having a ringtones sidebar on itunes. They were instructed to go to preferences under general and select the ringtonescheckbox. I have NO checkbox. I have also already purchased a few ringtones from my iphone. I want to convert songs in my library and put them into my ringtones folder, but I cant do that without the folder. I have been emailing pictures from my ipad to my computer and have been going along nicely and now when I went to send 5 pictures to my computer from my ipad I am getting a message that says " cannot send mail The message was rejected by the server" cannot understand why this is happening and have not been able to fix. Now when I try to send pictues even to another email address I am getting the same message.
Help.Email may not be the best way to move pictures.

Okay so about four days ago my ipad says it has apps to update but whenever i go to the update apps page it will not load and i have tried rebooting signing out but nothing will work, any suggestions?
If you are getting the blank app update screen, many, many people are having this problem over the last couple of days. It is a problem that Apple must fix now.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then. -
I updated my iPod and it erased everything i had on it. How do i retrieve the songs that i bought from the iTunes store? when i try to download/buy them again they tell me i have already purchased them do i want to buy them again? I have authorized my computer but none of them are in my music now.
You buy one and only one download.
It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
Certainly you did not update your ipod without making sure that you had transferred anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and included it in your regular backup copy of your computer. -
