Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your security questions.  I found an article with some useful information if you cannot remember the answers to your security questions:
What should I do if I don't remember the answers to my Apple ID security questions?
Try answering them at least once to see if you can get them right, even if you are not sure you remember the answers to your security questions.
If you are confident you can't remember them, try one of the following:
If you have three security questions and a rescue email address
sign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to send an email to your rescue email address to reset your security questions and answers.
If you have one security question and you know your Apple ID passwordsign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to reset your security question.
If you have one security question, but don't remember your Apple ID password
contact Apple Support for assistance. Learn more about creating a temporary support PIN to help Apple confirm your identity when you contact Apple Support.
Note: If you have forgotten your password and answer your security questions incorrectly too many times in a row, you will be unable to try to answer your security questions for a period of time. During that time you will not be able to reset your password and will not have access to your account.

    Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one.  Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.

    i had the same issue as everyone here after upgrading to itunes 10.x.  vista could see xp home share.  ipod touch could see xp home share.
    neither could see vista home share.
    after several hours of authorizing de-authorizing, rebooting router etc, i knew it had to be a firewall thingy with vista as xp was working fine
    i went to this article http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2553 and followed the instructions.  itunes was already in my vista exception list.  on a hunch i deleted the itunes exception and followed the steps to add it again and boom it worked!! i could now see my vista machine from my ipod touch immediately.
    something must have screwed up the firewall exception on the upgrade to itunes 10.x
    it worked for me, i hope this helps others

    You need to purchase OS X 10.7 Lion ($29.99 from the Mac App Store)  in order to udpate to 10.7.2.

    You should try again later, the servers are getting slammed. Bunch of people trying to download at the same time.
    Give it time, keep trying, should eventually work.

    so basically, last night I hooked up my iPod and synced it to upload this new podcast I had. once it did, I turned off my computer and went to bed. When I got to bed, I went to listen to that podcast, and it wasn't there..nothing was there.     Why not? You erased the iPod's backup!
    Well, try this reset procedure...
    1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
    2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. +You may need to repeat this step.+
    If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Allow at least a two-hour charge and repeat the above steps.

    Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download and don't appear in the Purchased link for re-downloading, so you will need to try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history to contact support : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that audiobook and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, 24 to 48 hours).
    Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

    Well folks I finally got my "can't connect to iTunes" issues fixed. Seems that there was an unauthorized change to my email address and account therefore not allowing mr to connect to iTunes.
    Here is how I got it fixed.
    1. Contacted iTunes store support
    2. Followed their instructions and replyed with the following info:
    An order number from one of my purchases
    Last 4 digits of the c.c. Used for the iTunes store acct
    Answer to one of my security questions
    And 2 items from this list.
    Birthdate
    Billing address for Acct
    Phone number on acct
    It was after all of this that they saw that someone had made an account modification back in February when the issue began. Seems they changed my email address just slightly and that is what kept me from being able to sign in and not a password issue. This was likely due to a phishing email that came out in conjunction with iCloud asking users to change their passwords to a more secure form by adding a capital and number.
    To get all of this cleared up it took about 4 days as we emailed back and forth. I also needed a seperate email address they could use to send me info. Once they determined the issues and went to get them fixed by changing the email address associated with the acct and I created a new password I was able to access iTunes with no issues and even my previously thought lost acct balance was there.

    Does it do this with another set of earbuds? If not, does this happen with songs you ripped from CD or downloaded from elsewhere?

    There are currently no other browsers available to download from the Firefox Marketplace. Other developers may create a new browser, but so far, none have been uploaded to the Marketplace.
