Ah, yeah water could be the problem. It depends on where the water went into the phone. Try this, turn the phone off and place in a bag of uncooked rice for a couple of days. The rice will asborb the water. This may or may not work.

On 2 separate computers (Macs), I get the message that I should upgrade for new versions of Firefox. After a LONG time, the install fails. I think this is a Firefox problem, not mine. Just following your instructions. Help?

The install seems to need to go all night, and then I get the error message.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop
* Firefox 6.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

That may be the new Mountain Lion "sandbox" protective software kicking in, possibly, because ML "thinks" that App doesn't meet ML's new strict security requirements. A common phenomena. If you feel the 3rd party App is really OK, you can override this feature and install the new App by holding down the Command key when you click to install the new App. That's one possibility for the error message appearing. If not, another possibility is that that Developer Preview software package requires some previous piece of software be installed prior to downloading this Preview. You would have to check the Facebbok websiste's Developer Forums for help if this is the case.

If you have enough room on the boot drive, head to System Preferences > Accounts and create another Admin Account, log out and into it and try your Software Update again.
If this doesn't work, connect a Ethernet cable to the router or modem (power off/on) and try again.
If this doesn't work then run through this list of fixes.

Check for content files with issuesSometimes a certain audio file can cause iTunes to quit unexpectedly or stop responding when it is analyzing gapless playback information. To determine which file(s) may be causing the issue, follow the steps below.
Quit iTunes.
Move the iTunes Library.itl file to your Desktop. The file is located in:C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes
Open iTunes.
From the File menu, choose Add Folder to Library.
Navigate to the folder where your music is located. Typically this is:C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media
Note: This folder may also be called "iTunes Music."
Choose an artist, album, or single song to add the to the library.
Wait for iTunes to successfully add the songs to your library and perform the gapless playback scan.
If successful, continue adding back more songs to your library.
If there is an issue with one of your files, you will notice your issue reappear after you attempt to add it to the library. At this point you should repeat these steps being careful not to add the files that cause the issue to occur.
