Installing iTunes on a computer does not magically install/move media or preferences to the new computer.

I would select a link from the drop down on the address bar but the page would not open. I would select it again but the page does not open. I could only reach website by selecting google on most visited list.

After updating AVG anti-virus, I encountered a problem on Firefox. I would select a link from the drop down on the address bar but the page would not open after clicking on it. I had the same problem and also had PDF Download 3.0.02 installed. By removing this addon I can now select a PDF document which then opens up a normal Open With/Save dialogue allowing me to open the file or save it. Hope this helps.

I had the same issue. What I did was save the movies on a thrid-party app like Download Manager Lite. Once downloaded, go back to itunes, go to your iDevice, go to apps and transfer the app, then scroll down and click on the app and from there you can send the movies to that app and WILL play. Can only hold up to 8 videos/movies (this is for iPod Touch 3G or better, iPhone 3s or better, iPad requires iOS 4.3 or better)

If your just putting them on iTunes, it should show and play on iTunes no problem.

What does the product developer say about system requirements? If it needs to be run from within Internet Explorer then you'll need to find a way to run Internet Explorer. Boot Camp or VM installation of Windows would be two options.
But first check the product requirements.

Hi, are you saying that you start Firefox and it stalls -- you can see it in the Task Manager but it never displays -- but if you kill that process and start Firefox again it starts up properly that second time?
If you look at the statistics available in the Task Manager's processes tab such as bytes read or other bytes, can you see whether Firefox is doing anything at all? ''Note: You might need to add columns if your Processes tab isn't set up to display statistics. You can do that from the View menu.''

After the Apple logo appears, what happens then? Can you hear any sounds or if you tap on the screen, does it seem like apps can open or are you just seeing a black screen? You might have a hardware problem, but you can try restoring the software and see what happens.
Read this in its entirety before you do anything. Make sure you read the sections at the end about using recovery mode.

Is the HDD in the 2009 15" MBP dead? (The original source of your data) If not, you might want ot take it out and put it in an enclosure.
You might try spotlight on know files to see if that gives you any clues where your data is located.
You might down load from the Internet OmniDiskSweeper (free) and open it. It should show you all of the files you have on your MBP and enable to locate them.

We just need a little more information." The continue button does not work. I've seen this problem before trying to file support requests. It's as if Apple simply does not want you to create requests.

I just went through several screens and had no problems. Try clearing your browser's cache and/or history.

The plugin shows on the list as enabled and functioning, yet the tool does not show on the toolbar. It would appear that I need to restore the previous version of Firefox and wait until a newer release of the plugin is available before upgrading the browser.

I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Try unmounting the volume on your iMac using Disk Utility. Then mount it again. You may need to reboot the laptop or relaunch its Finder process (using the Force Quit window) after remounting the drive on your iMac. Remember that no process may be accessing any files on the drive you plan to unmount, or the unmount will fail. Unmounting and remounting an external drive on my iMac made it become visible on my MacBook Pro after it had disappeared.
