To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased them. If you have apps that need updating you have to update the apps one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
The purchased apps that came with the iPod id not transfer with the iPod. They remained licenced to the purchaser. You should delete them.

It appears Best Buy is up to their old tricks of palming off returned units as new. Take it back for a complete refund of your money. If they give you any static escalate your problem to management immediately.

My Apple ID was changed. Yet when I try to update apps I am asked to enter the password for the old IG which will not work and no matter what I do. When I attempt to update apps it still askes for the wrong ID data.

It works fine on my IPad mini, my MAc and in Itunes Store, Yet when I try to update apps on my IPAD 1 I am asked to enter a password for the old ID user name which appears in the pop up window. When It still askes for the wrong ID data. I have uodated it in settings, and I have logged ontht the account to verify that it still works properly and it does. I reboot the IPAD and then attempt to update apps again but it still asked for the Old ID password and still shows the old ID username. The dame thing refuses to recognize my new Apple ID data. You cannot change your Apple ID. You can get a new one if you want, but all of your Apps and media are linked to yoru old Apple ID. And no, Apple won't transfer your old ID purchases to yoru new ID.

Try contacting iTunes via email to check if there is an issue with the account. go to apple.com/support/itunes
Click on iTunes Store account and billing and select inquiries. On the right side click on "email us".
Before doing that trying viewing your account information first. Open the iTunes on you mac, look at the menu and select store and select view my account. Try removing the card (this is only applicable if you don't have a pending charges with iTunes) and hit done. Sign out, quit iTunes and sign back in and try updating the apps again.

There is no featured tab in my iTunes store. . . and everywhere it shows me signed in. I had downloaded an app for my mother on HER ipad, and that is the only app I have done for her. The Mrs. and I are receiving "The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please try again later." message whenever we try to update apps or purchase new apps. This is on two separate iPhone4's running 4.3.3

I haven't updated the iOS this week because I'm still working on resolving a separate issue, syncing playlists back to iTunes from the iPhone after a Snow Leopard restore.
FWIW-- The Mac Store on my MacBook also returns a similar error message when I try to update pixelmator and evernote. I get "The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time. 1) SignOut from Your apple itunes account
2) Again Sign In Your iTunes Account
And you can turn off your wifi/internet from your iphone and again turn it on

Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them, and all future updates will require you to enter the password associated with this ID, whether you are currently using this ID for purchases or not. If you are being prompted for your sister-in-law's Apple ID when updating it means that there must be one or more apps on your phone that was purchased using her Apple ID. (When she synced with your computer it may have transferred this app to your library. It was subsequently synced to your phone.) The only way to stop the prompt for her ID is to delete these apps from your phone and your iTunes library and repurchase them using your Apple ID.

I used my PC and configured up an new iPhone 5s. I was logged into my own Apple ID while installing it and recovering it from an older Safety Copy, the safety copy was done also while on this account. I want the owner of the 5S to use their own Apple ID on the iTunes store and on iCloud. I did register their iCloud account and used their Apple ID when on the phone for the first time, but whenever I try to update apps my ID shows up. Is there a way to change this ID to the owner of the 5S' owner without deleting all the apps, or somehow still recover them from the copy?

Try recovering them from the copy. If those copies are also associated with your Apple ID, no.

I recently reset my apple id. However when I try to update apps in my iphone it asks for my old apple id info. When I enter this in it states that the info is incorrect and needs to be reset. However when I download new apps the app store asks for my recently updated apple id info. When I have tried to delete the apps that need to be updated and buy them again, I was charged for the app. As a result I cannot update any apps. How can I fix this?

Can you post the exact message you get please. As far as I know, there is no "Bavarian" store (unless you are talking about an import store with merchandise from Bavaria).
Are you trying to go to the Mac App Store (for Mac OS) or the app store for iPhones, iPads, etc???
And, we need to have more information: what Mac computer or i-Device are you on? What version of the OS?
