I tryed the phone in a Bowl of water to check for waterproffness

So as the title says i tried it because i want to take a few pictures when i go swimming in a pool. It worked perfectly but like 2-3 hours after it some condensation appeared on both of the cameras and they wont go away. after that i found my phone switched off (i thaught it had no battery) i pluged it in to recharge the battery but after 1 hour it wouldn't turn on it would just vibrate non-stop. i left it alone after removing the sd card and sim card. then i check it again its turned on with 70% battery and on safe mode... so my questions are how can i get it off safe mode and can i do something about the cameras because now all the pictures i try to take are foggy.... Should i give it to a sony retail shop or i can fix it at home?

There is no where for the upgrade to 'Light Up'...I don't know what that means. Once your phone is recognized, you can manually select 'Check for Update' if it isn't automatically prompting you.

Were you definitely connected to the internet at the time? If you don't have iOS 5 on your iPhone then the only way to update it would be via iTunes, once updated to the latest version of iOS you'll be able to update your iPhone without connecting to iTunes "over-the-air".
Before updating however it goes without saying to Backup your iPhone, this should happen by default upon connecting your iPhone to iTunes.

If you have a 2G iPod, you will not be able to update past 4.2.1. Only 3G and 4G iPod Touch models can upgrade to 4.3.
