I trying to install hyperion planning but i am facing problem
while creating database i am facing problem . error as unable to connect database hyperion essbase administration services.
one more problem while configuring shared services its asking user name password. what is default password.
what are prerequisites to install hyperion planning.
The prerequisites are to install essbase and configure shared services .

While configuring the database of 'Shared services' through the configuration utility , use the username of the database owner and password of the data base owner.(If you are doing the database configuration of shared services only ).

Without a bootable backup/clone or a Time Machine backup of your previous Snow Leopard installation or a saved copy of Lion's install app, you'll have to upgrade your Leopard volume to Snow Leopard (10.6.6+) so you can waste another hour or more DLing the Lion thing again.

I have tried to install Creative Cloud but I just get a blank white screen with a black Creative Cloud bar at the top. There are no options to choose 'Apps' etc. Can anyone help?

i have a mac osx version 10.6.8 no windows installed and i am trying to install a program but keep getting can not run in dos mode ( the disk says on back works on intel mac with parallels or vm fusion) is this program not compatible with my mac?
You run Windows in Parallels or Fusion. Then in Windows you install the program.

I am trying to install Boot Camp but it says I haven't got enough free space on my start up disk - that I need at least 10GB free space - however in disk utility it says I have 27GB free!
if your SSD is only 60 GBs, then you don't have space on which to install Windows. That 27 GBs is space you need to have for adding files you create, music you download, added applications, pictures, etc. You need to maintain at least 10 GBs as free space for OS X, plus you need space for files OS X will create and add to over time.
Your 60 GB SSD is just a minimum usable size for OS X. There isn't sufficient space to also support Windows which requires close to 25 GBs of the 27 GBs you still have free. Sorry, but that just doesn't really work well. -
I purchased CS5 Design Standard about 5 years ago. Now I am trying to install second PC, but I got a message like " This serial number is not correct." I want to know the correct serial number, but I missed my ex adobe ID because I've changed my E-mail address.
It is not clear to me what your issue is with not being able to sign in to your Adobe account to find the serial number. You should still be able to sign in and find your serial number if you registered the software.
If your first PC is a Windows machine you might be able to extract the serial number from it using the Belarc Advisor

I'm new to MAC, that said I really haven't had much trouble with it except today I am trying to install Adobe InDesgin but it keeps trying to use FTP Client Ultimate to do so.. What is the installer that it should be using? I was hoping it would auto start and install but no such luck..

And obviously you're able to type alpha outside of entering the redemption code, since you're typing here.
The only other thing I can think of is that maybe they have some 1's that look like l's, and 0's that look like o's. If one of those is actually a starting numeric character and you're typing it as alpha, it might not work.
If that's not the case, then I would restart the computer and try again. -
