I trying to install the new update IOS 8.0.1 but facing problem.
Trying to install iOS 8.0.1. When it gets to verification step after the download, I am getting a message that my device that it is no longer connected to the internet, but all other internet apps are working and internet connection is also good. what is the problem i cannot identif. Please suggest me proper way to solve it..

So any help would be appreciated.Try resetting the device: Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Slide to Unlock screen redisplays, hook the device up to iTunes, make sure that your husband's Apple/iTunes/iCloud ID is signed on to iTunes, then try the update again.

I have tried to install the new update and i have lost everything on my phone and just asks to plug into itunes. I have finally downloaded the new update and I now have nothing on my phone no apps no nothing even tho it was restored from the back up i did yesterday? Any ideas how to resolve this without downloading everything again. I have the Iphone 4s 64GB which was full (so a LOT on there)
What were you backing up to? Your computer or iCloud? All of your apps and media should already be in the iTunes library on your computer. You should just be able to re-sync them if all else fails.

I tried to run the new update to iTunes and I got the error....iTunes was not installed properly. Please reinstall iTunes. I have tried that twice with no success. Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad or your router?
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Even though you are connected to the Internet, sometimes resetting your router can help. It's very easy to do. Just unplug it for about 30 seconds, plug it back in and let it start up. -
I received the new update from Itunes and after installing, I couldnt get into my Itunes. I get a message from Windows saying that an MC file is missing and to reinstall I tunes. I have reinstalled 3 times, the first time I didn't remove the old version, I installed the update over it. Next I tried the repair function under Control Panel. After that, I uninstalled Itunes and reinstalled again from the website. I still get the same message about missing files from Windows.

Every time i try to open it it said iTune.exe - Entry Point Not Found then it said The procedure entry point kCMByteStreamNotification_AvailableLengthChanged could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreMedia.dll. And i tried re-installing it and it went through but it just wont open.
Hello. No message shown. The downloading does not complete at all, I tried like 20 times but no one worked. The closest I was to downloaded it, was with 66 mb (the new version has 66.1) As stated on the web page of apple I uninstalled itunes and all its accesories or common programs. Now I am unable to install the new version and I am more frustrating since I did it to sincronized it wit my new ipad! In consequence, no message at all, the downloading simply stops at 49%, 67% or 99% :(

Trying to install the new itunes/borjour for windows 64 but neither install
I downloaded the current version of itunes for windows 64. I received a message to install Bonjour and did so.
I have 2 Bonjour items in Programs and tried to uninstall the one dated 2010 but received the message that this program is for 32bit and to go get the download/bonjourforwindows. html, which I did when itunes was downloaded and this version will not 'uninstall'.
I tried to open the Bonjour Printer Wizard and received a message "Bonjour service is not available".
Also, itunes is still version 9.1.1.12.

I now have a brick for a phone. Just tried to update to 7.1.1 using iTunes and it wipred out the operating system OK but now will not communicate with iTunes or the laptop. I reloaded iTunes and still no luck. If I press and hold the power and home buttons it inly comes up to the same screen showing the lightning cable pointing to iTunes logo. How can I get this running again? Even a factory reset to start would help if possible then I can do a restore. Right now it is worthless.Hello HarbourStables,

Hi everyone! I tried to install the new iOs 7 on my iphone 4, but it wasn't completed (showing error 4005). Now, my iphone is stuck on the itunes' logo with the usb cord, and I can't use my phone. And itunes doesn't detect my iphone when I connect it on my computer, so I can't put it in recovery mode or someting like that... What can I do?? I tried everything they tell me to do in the apple support but nothing seems to work. Thank you!

Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine. -
I just tried to install the new IOS version and now my screen is all black.. since an hour. My power button is broken so i cant reset my phone. When i plugg it in my computer, it makes a sound, but the screen stays black.

Trying to install the new itunes update and it keeps saying error could not install itunes. Currently I am running windows 7. Any advise to fix this problem. This is doing this when installing itunes/quicktime, safari 5, mobileme control panel, and the software update itself. The itunes version is 10.3.1
That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?
