I-Tune 5 causes 'runtim error 6009

An interesting problem,
After Installing I-Tunes 5,
some old DOS programs no longer load correctly.
I got a 'run-time error R6009 not enough space for environment'
This error message has NEVER occurred before. (I-Tunes 4 was running on the computer. Did not cause any problems)
I am absolutely positive it is I-tunes 5:
By restoring pre-I-tunes-5 disc images and retracing my steps, it IS definitely I-Tunes 5 install process that is causing this problem.
I have worked out a fix for this, but this is something Apple should know about!

Of course you are getting the error. The data types are inconsistent. You convert the cluster to an array. You then define the type of flattened string as a cluster. Either don't convert to an array or define the data type as an of paths. Look again at the examples in that post.

It is clearly saying the elements are not bound to the node and you are trying to access the node..
i.e. you have not binded internal table to the node.

Adobe album photo 'reconnect' causes Runtime error in Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

When I try to open photos from any of my Adobe 3.2 Starter Album albums, it tells me I must reconnect the files. Adobe browses for them, and can usually locate them on my hard drive. Lately, it can't find them, and I have to 'browse' to locate them. When I do, and open the photo in 'My Pictures', I get an immediate message: Prog: ...hop Album Starter Edition\3.2\Apps\ComponentLauncher.exe. This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
The message is generated by Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. When I go back to look at the photo in the album, there is a 'ripped' icon at the bottom of the photo. ALSO: The videos I had stored in my albums, with .avi extensions, which also have hard drive backup, no longer play (with the exception of one), and a notification came up requesting codecs. When I tried to play them on either RealPlayer or Windows Media, they were playing with the screen showing random swirling colors, as if they were mp3's.
Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Empty paragrpahs in a textflow cause runtime error when displaying the text

Hello there,
when I create a textflow which has empty ParagraphElements in
it (i.e. a ParagraphElement without any children) I get this
runtime error once I try to display the text in a container:
Error: Error #2175: One or more elements of the content of
the TextBlock has a null ElementFormat.
Is this a bug, or is there a legitimate reason for this
error? If so, I'd like to understand why. In my reasoning an empty
ParagraphElement should just result in the rendering of a newline.
But maybe I'm thinking too much in HTML terms here...

ITunes Update Problem Causing Runtime Error R6034

I have tried everything to fix this issue and read postings about it. None worked.
I uninstalled all apple applications, restarting in between, then started getting
(APSDaemon.exe system error icudt49.dll is missing).
Installed iTunes and back to Runtime error R6034.
PC runs on Win 7, 64 bit.
Any help is appreciated.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, even downloading older versions without any luck. When Apple resolves an issue can we simply redownload iTunes at that time. Or is this something we need to fix ourselves? Help please!

Toplink causing runtime error.

Please can someone advise on why I get this error when running a demo application, I amd able to connect to the database via the connections navigator within Jdeveloper. I can also see the correct reference within the data-sources.xml for the application. Can one recreate the connection for the project to ensure that I have not missed typed the connection details, especiall the password.

Setting skinclass style property of ViewNavigator causes runtime error

Hi,
I am building a mobile app with Flash Builder 4.5. the project is of type ViewNavigatorApplication. What I want to do is to add an image as a background to all the Views. In a previous email I was told to add the image as a child to a customized ViewNavigatorSkin in the createChilder() method.
So since the ViewNavigator is instantiated inthe ViewNavigatorApplicationSkin, i created two customized skins one for the ViewNavigatorApplication and one for the ViewNavigator. In the new customized skin (I called it Whateverskin) that I subclassed from ViewNavigatorApplication skin I added the following line to set the the style skinclass property of the navigator instance like this:
navigator = new ViewNavigator();
navigator.id = "navigator";
navigator.setStyle("skinClass","MySkins.MyViewNavigatorSkin"); // setting my own customized skin for the ViewNavigator
But the application breaks as soon as the "skinClass" property style is set. I get the following debugger errors.I don't understand the first error message, complaining that "Whateverskin2.navigator" cannot be found, because the number "2" appended to the end of the name of the skin class "Whateverskin" is being done by Flex. My skin class is named "Whateverskin.as" no "Whateverskin2.as". So I don't know what is going on.
Any idea?

Also I found a better way to display my background image.
The engineers at Adobe told me that it is better to subclass SkinabbleComponentSkin add my image there as a child in the createChildren() method and then set the the skinClass style property of a View as a CSS class selector like this.

Lines between 159~189 present some of my testing results, some are correct and the others are incorrect.
In addition, I also have test "On AIR Simulator" and nexus 7 2013, the error does not produces.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. directly executes the RTTtest.as on iPhone 5.
will see the error ( on debug mode )
2. Commenting line:169-170, and un-comment line:172-178 does not produce error.
Actual Result:
if ignoring the error, the render texture presents black, therefore the screen presents black.
Expected Result:
The testing program draws two triangles, the one is blue, and the other is red.

Intel Core i7 CPU 930, 8.0 GB RAM, FlashBuilder 4.7, Windows 7 64-bits

Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:
Press the Win key + "R" and type eventvwr>enter
Expand Custom Views
Click Administrative Events
Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
Upload the .zip file to Onedrive or a file sharing service and put a link to it in your next post
If you have updated to win 8.1 and you get the error message "the system cannot find the file specified" it is a known problem. The work around is
to edit the registry. If you are not comfortable doing this DONT. If you are, backup the key before you do

Navigate to:

Not getting runtime errors

I have been using Flex for 6 months and suddenly this week I
am no longer getting runtime errors which is making it very
dificult to debug. Does anyone know what would cause runtime errors
to be disabled?

Did you turn off "Strict Mode"?

The latest update has caused a runtime error and cannot use i tunes

i have just tried to put the latest update on my laptop and it has caused a runtime error and now cannot install i tunes at all.

have you use latest version of nvidia driver, you have a compatibility issue here.

my setup ...
os = win xp pro, sp3, current patches installed
itunes = 9.1.0.79
the original update was thru the apple software updater. after the error showed up on 1st start of itunes, i ...
= rebooted the system = no fixee
= uninstalled itunes, rebooted, reinstalled itunes, rebooted = no fixee
since i updated to 9.1 i get the following errors at itunes startup ...
[1] visual c++ runtime error r6034
after i hit ok for item [1] i get ...
[2] itunes cannot sync information ..SNIP.. because syncing has been disabled on this computer. do you want to enable syncing?
if you do not enable ..SNIP.. to your ipod.
after i hit yes for item [2] i get ...
[3] itunes was unable to load provider data from sync services. reconnect or try again later.
after i hit ok for item [3] itunes runs.
the itouch shows up in the left panel "devices" list and is selectable. pressing the sync button on the itouch summary page triggers TWO dialogs of item [1]! hitting ok on them lets the sync go forward. i presume the only actual sync going on is the music. the sync finishes with no errors and says "ipod sync is complete. ok to disconnect."
i haven't tested to get confirmation that anything is being synced so it might just be going thru the motions.

it says the error is caused by a missing "manifest" and the fix is to rebuild the app with a proper one.

otherwise, itunes runs in its usual slothful [on windows] and crash-prone [on windows] manner.

I could resolve some of the issues posted here with the fix offered by jeffcoffee under http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1595916&start=285&tstart=0 (However, I still have the R6034 error message. Would be great to have a fix for that too).
This is what he did:
copy the file 'sqlite3.dll'
from 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support'
to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support'
*In a 32 bit Windows OS remove (x86) from the path.
Another potential dll issue might be: 'libxml2.dll', follow the same copy routine. If the first one does not fix it.

Acrobat 9 should not have installed anything within Word 97: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/compatible-web-browsers-pdfmaker-applications.html. You may want to check Tools > Macros to see if there's anything installed into that version of Word.
