I tunes 7 upgrade-can't buy music anymore :(

Can anyone help? I go into itunes store, select a cut and try to buy it. It won't let me continue until I upgrade to 7. I have installed (successfully, I think) the download but I am still getting the same message and now I can't buy any new music. Thanks!

Hey, epoh, I haven't forgotten the long term solution for you, I just can't seem to find it in the user tips library. I know it was there, and I've asked some of the folks who have helped on this type of thing before to help me relocate it. Of course, they all decided they were "Irish" and (although it has nothing to do with being Irish) are still recovering from celebrations designed to make bartenders rich and breweries dry.
Hopefully they will be back soon. In the mean time, Rod has suggested two things. One would be taking a look at your account page (click on your account name when in the iTunes Music Store) and seeing if there isn't a way to reset it in the purchase history screen. I don't see anything like that there, but then again, I don't have anything stuck in my cart either
Give that a shot, then try deauthorizing your computer and reauthorizing it. I see where he is going with this one. It's quite possible that this action will get rid of anything that was hanging out under that particular account name.
Give these both a shot, and see if it doesn't shake that album loose. If it doesn't, I'm sure someone has a link to the fix I'm thinking of.

I can't buy music anymore!

And apparently Apple isn't worried that I can't spend money with them anymore. I tried contacting support, and got an email telling me to restart iTune, which clearly isn't fixing the problem, and now nothing. I suppose I should explain my problem.. maybe someone here can help!
I have an album stuck in my shopping cart. I was trying to buy a couple of albums, went to the shopping cart to buy them, and noticed one album doesn't have a price. That one album is preventing me from buying anything, and that album can't be removed from my shopping cart. If I try to remove it, I get the following error - "Could not remove an item from your shopping cart. An unknown error has occured (1011)." If I try to click 'Buy Now' I get this "Your shopping cart's contents has changed" and it wants me to refresh. I hit refresh and get this "We could not complete your music store request. The server was not found."
I can browse the music store just fine, I can even add and remove other albums from my shopping cart. It's just this one album screwing everything up. Is there a way to reset my account?!?

Upgraded to 6.0.5 and now can't buy music

I mistakenly upgraded to 6.0.5 and now I can't buy music. Whenever I click on "buy song" I just get the colored spinning ball for hours. I have to force quit just to get out. Anyone have any suggestions?

Check the General -> Restrictions settings and see if perhaps the iTunes app is turned off there. If not, the app may have been inadvertently moved to another home screen or dropped into a folder. Do a search for the app or try resetting the Home screen layout: Choose General > Reset, then tap Reset Home Screen Layout.

How to reset your Apple ID security questions
Go to appleid.apple.com and click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.

I think it has more to do with licensing. You can only buy music from the store for your country. Unfortunately, if your country doesn't have a store yet, because they are trying to do everything legally, you can't buy anything.
Even though I'm in the US and can buy from the US iTunes store, I can't buy anything that is on a different store. So, for example, I can browse the Japan store, and there may be a lot of things that I want to buy, but I'm not allowed to because I don't have a Japan billing address.
I asked their support when the Japan store was opened why I couldn't buy from it, and that-the legality and licensing concerns-is basically the answer that I got.

We are fellow users here on these forums, we won't know if/when Apple might open an iTunes store in Uruguay until Apple announce something - presumably not enough record companies/rights-holders have yet granted Apple licenses for their music for Uruguay.

"Buy Now" won't work. Can't buy music, but my Shopping Cart is loaded.

Since the beginning of June I cannot buy music from Apple. My iTunes works perfectly in all respects except one -- I can't purchase anything.
The diagnostic indicates an "unknowe error" in the the Music Store. Everything else on my PS=C works fine, including all three Internet browsers -- FoxFire, Internet Explorer, and Opera.
Emails to iTunes remain unanswered. Their promise to answer eMails within 24 hours is a lie.
Anyone else have this problem?
