I tunes closes when the I Pod is connected

Hi, I can run i Tunes software but when I connect the i Pod, the i Tunes software says it has to shutdown. I have reloaded i Tunes software. the error message says
iTunes has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
No further information is presented. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you clicking the close X on the title bar?
Using that close X will close that browser window.
Does it also happen if you use File > Close Tab (Ctrl+W) or middle-click the tab on the tab bar ?

My Macbook Pro (Early 2011) DVI HDMI out does not work with TV when the power cable is connected. If get the blue screen and then can use the macbook but nothing is displayed on the TV. If i go into display I can see that there are two screens but nothing displayed on the TV. If i take the power cable out at this point the TV shows the second desktop as expected. If i then reconnect the cable, the screen flickers, as though it is being affected by the power cable, and the screen goes blank on the TV. Only if i remove the DVI cable do i get the blue screen again. If i remove the power cable and reconnect it will do it every single time, so i cannot see it being a TV issue or a minor glitch.
I have had this working previously but at the minute it seems to not be playing ball....any thoughts

Thanks for the answer. I'm trying to deploy the profile that I've created on all my laptops. But i'm facing an issue for a while.
When the profile is deployed on a laptop, Access Connections finds a new ethernet port and asks to assign it a profile. But the problem is that Access Connection don't allow me to assign it to my wired profile, only to my wireless profile and that doesn't make sens to me. Besides, it is written in the dialogue box that ethernet profiles are disable for the match of the new port...
Is there any way to assign the new port to the new profile without human interaction or just how to make the wired profile available when access connection is launched and find a new ethernet connection

You, my friend, are a life saver!!! I had the same problem today and I was freaking out. I was watching a video and went back to the menu and that's when it froze. None of the buttons would do anything. It sat like that with the backlight on for about three hours so the battery is just about drained now. I never knew about the Menu and Select button reset method until now.

Do Customized EQ Settings In I-tunes Transfer to the I-pod?

Does Anyone know if Custom EQ settins created by the user in I-Tunes is supposed to transfer to the I-pod when it is synced? It does not seem to work, because they don't show up in the EQ presets list on the I-Pod.

In the window that opens, type this:

Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:

Press return. A Reset Password window opens. Close the Terminal window to get it out of the way.
Select the startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected. You won't be able to do this if FileVault is active.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.

What happens to a NetConnection when the client loses network connectivity?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has any idea of what happens with a
NetConnection that is interrupted by the loss of network
connectivity. In recent testing on my FMS app, I logged in, messed
around for a while, then physically disconnected my computer's
ethernet cable. While the application stopped responding to my
actions (as expected), the instance on Flash Media Server continued
to show a client connection for several minutes after the
disconnect, although it did eventually time out. Before it timed
out, reconnecting the ethernet cable didn't allow the client to
interact with the application again, also pretty much expected.
What I'm wondering is if there is any way to register the
loss of connectivity by the client so that appropriate action could
be taken. It doesn't seem that any of the NetStatusEvents respond
to loss of connectivity...the closed event occurs only when
actively closing the connection, not when it's simply cut off. Has
anyone else had to deal with this, and what sort of approach did
you take?

MAP don´t login in the clients when the pcs don't connect with a domain

I have a network with a normal pcs (as home pcs) with out domain; but i try audit the network but always launch the same error "Failed - Access Denied". I read in the internet and this problem is present when the netlogon service is down , but

PowerShell: How do I reliably set the IP address on an interface when the interface is not connected ?

I am in a bit of a bind - no pun intended. I would like to know how to reliable set the persistent IP address of an interface that may be disconnected when the address is set. I can set an address and it will be stored in the ActiveStore but
that does not really help if I need it next time I reboot. I have tried using netsh and WMI but they don't seem to create a persistent address on the disconnected interface. Now if I us ncpa.cpl I can do it all day long so it must be possible.
In fact if I do it that way the registry settings change. So, I figured I would go that route (modifying the registry) but, alas, that does not work either - upon reboot the address shown in the interface properties show a blank IP address, gateway,
and netmask. It is interesting that it is using a static address though.

Itunes trys to connect to my iphone when the iphone is not connected to the pc

At first I thought it was beause I didn't "eject" the iphone from itunes before disconnecting from my USB cord so I reconnected the iphone and ejected the iphone from within itunes. Once my iphone disappeared from the list of devices I disconnected my iphone. However, everytime I open itunes, itunes trys to connect to my iphone when it is not connected via the USB. I get an error message saying itunes could not connect to my iphone - Duh!

A backup of a device with a newer version of iOS cannot be retored to a device with an older version. The solution is to connect to itunes and update the new device's iOS, then perform a restore.

Yes, this is normal. The AC modes in DMMs become nonlinear with very small input signals near the bottom end of their ranges. The result is a residual error reading. This is not an offset -- as you noted, the accuracy improves as you increase the input signal. While this threshold is not specified for ELVIS II, it should be around 2% of range (10 mArms in the 500 mArms range, as you observed). By comparison, that threshold is specified as 5% of range for myDAQ and 1% of range for the PXI-4072.

Windows 7 will go to sleep without wakeup while booting in bootcamp. i have noticed that this happens when the power adapter is connected.

okay the current issues after installing OS X Lion are:
Windows 7 in bootcamp will go to sleep immediately during booting and will never comes back to life until the power cord is connected and disconnected several times. any solution?
MS Office for Mac 2011 will refuse to update as it fails to detect the drive in which the previous version of office is installed. mine is installed in Machintosh HD but the update fails to find the program after dowloading the update file.
Mac lion didnt even offer new backgrounds, live wallpapers or anything new except two little icons on desktop for Mission control and launchpad. On thhae other hand they have taken off the front row.
Itunes interface is ancient. nothing magical. it just like the video players in linux. nothing modern or advanced.
where is the customization for gestures?
Its a disappointment that Mac is going the same way of ****** windows.

That is normal behavior. The power will drop several percent before the charge function kicks in. If you leave it on power you'll notice it start to charge somewhere around 96% maybe 95%.
You can just leave it plugged in and it'll take care of itself.

HT1222 The 6.1 IOS update download times out when my I Pod is connected to itunes, why?

When I connect my iPod touch 4 to i Tunes it asks me if I want to update my software to IOS 6.1. When I agreed it starts to download and says that it will take about 2 minutes. The time then starts to increase quickly and then the server times out. I had the same problem with my i Phone and i Pad, but as they could connect through my home's wifi they updated outsside of i tunes. My i Pod touch 4 is the only item out of date. I cant find any help on the Aplle Web site.

Thanks, I don't get an error message just that the network connection timed out. It races to about 85mb of fownload and then stops dead. I have run a diagnostics on I Tunes and it says all is ok

In firefox, it works like it is supposed to.
In IE, however, (as always) it messes it up. When you put
your cursor in between the words, the menu closes. While this isn't
catastrophic, the company that I am designing this for will
potentially have many clients who are very computer illiterate and
this may really confuse and frustrate them...and they will probably
be the users who have IE6.
The default spry menu bar doesn't seem to have this problem
at all. I compared the stylesheets and I can't find out why this is
happening.
I also tried removing the class that I made for the submenu
items, ul.MenuBarHorizontal a.MenuBarItemSubmenu2 and it didn't
change anything so I don't think the problem is there.
Any ideas anyone?
