I-Tunes does not open - why?

Have newest Nano video - all current with firmware - as is the iTunes software.
connected to a XP Home SP2 via a Apple docking station.
I have iTunes set to open when Nano connected to the PC- but iTunes still does not open.
Whats the fix?

Try resetting your System Management Controller or SMC. Try launching iTunes after processing these steps. If the issue persists, try downloading a fresh copy of iTunes by accessing the second link below.

Is it a case of runaway blank tabs? One possible cause is if Firefox wants to download something but you instruct Firefox to handle it itself. This article describes how to clear that up: [[Firefox repeatedly opens empty tabs or windows after you click on a link]].
If they are not blank tabs, do they look like some kind of advertising? You might have a bad add-on. These can slip into your computer as part of a bundle with other software, so I suggest starting here:

This can help in smoking out undisclosed bundle items that snuck in with some software you agreed to install. Take out as much trash as possible here.

hi guys recently updated my i tunes 2 latest version & and used it 4 a few weeks with no problems this morning i tried 2 open it and now it sez the file itunes libery cannot b read because it was created by a newer version of itunes how can i fixx this ? i need my i tunes

HI kenna yes sovled it what u should do is 1st of all check if ur itunes is still working and all ur songs r still in ur itues libery 2 do this play a song using itues doubie click on song if itunes is ur default play should automaticly open with itues but DO NOT use the itues short cut if it works then just deleate itunes short cut that has the error msg and create a new 1 (copy & paste it) from ur mac should b in music folder itunes

Look in the Utility folder which is located inside the Applications folder.
You don't want to do anything with the disk on a PC if you want it to work on the Mac. They both use different formats.

If you only changed the name of your ID rather than creating a new ID, just go to Settins>iCloud and tap Delete Account then sign back in with the new name. (Deleting the account from your phone does not delete it from iCloud. Your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.)
If you created a new ID, you'll have to go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
You won't lose any photos in your camera roll or photo library. Why the bill desk a payment gate way does not open?

I am from India and on personal social visit to US. I am staying with my daughter in broofield Milwaukee. I need to pay my credit card bills. The credit card directs the payment through gateway provided by bill desk/paynet of india. Hoever, after June 12, the payment gateway does not open and hence payments cannot be made. The error message is web site moved or check proxy setting. The proxy setting are default browser setting and payment prior tk June 12 were made. The network used is AT&T through securef WI-FI o the premises. Hope to find solution

please make sure your date and time settings on the device is in sync with the local time. Payment gateways work on a secure protocol (https) which uses system clock for some security reasons.

Firefox 3.6.12 crashes or does not open as soon as firebug is installed, why?

I am using firefox for last 5-6 years. But now these days I am fed up with its performance. I installed ff 3.6.12 and add-on firebug latest(1.5). When I restart FF, it shows up in process tabs but does not open. I disable it from process tab and continued with safe mode, disable firebug, FF works fine. What's the problem with firebug extension?? For 2-3 times I thought it's my os problem and I re-installed XP for couple of times. It's a hectic experience. Even I uninstalled google chrome. But I think, it's not only me who as a web developer facing the problem.

I have installed add-on: colorzilla, measure -it, echofon, google toolbar, java console and java quick starter. I tried individually to open firefox after every plug-in installation. Only after firebug, it does not come up. Even, when there is no plug-in installed and only firebug, it does not work!! So there is no way of conflict. Your above link is not a solution for my problem.

We have ECC 6.0 with ABAP+JAVA System
We recently upgraded to SP12 on ABAP as well JAVA.
After that

But
http://hostname.domain.com:5<NR>00 link open with WAS Page.
Due to this Our PDF Pages generation is failing in Travel Mgmt.

i already have mozilla firefox in my laptop and i use this all the time but now it does not open when i click it.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

hello, this is a google issue. on [https://support.google.com/plus/answer/1347815 their support site] they say that all current versions of firefox are supported but apparently something has gone wrong in there browser sniffing which will have to be corrected on their server side...
