I-tunes gift card question

I am new to Apple and its products. I have an I-pad 2 and wanted to purchase I-tunes. I received 2 gift cards for I-tunes. I typed in the gift card numbers. My account indicates I have $25 to redeem. I threw out the cards because I had submitted the information. However when I wanted to redeem the $25 it says I had to type in the numbers again. What do I need to do because the cards are gone but I have $25 in the account to spend? Thanks in advance for your input.

You will not lose your $8. Your account keeps a running total and will add the $30 to your existing $8.

Sorry, I must have missed your last response, but can you calrify what feature do you want to use in FormsCentral? There are email receipts and email notifications. If you want the user to receive a copy of the date he entered in the form, then the user needs to enter an email address in the form and submit the form, but if you want the user to receive all responses he and others submit to a form, then it's email notification. It sounds like email receipts in your case. For email receipts to work, you need to have an email field in your form and set up Email Receipts in the options tab, by selecting the email field in the "To:" field.

You can view the balance of your iTunes account : on my iPad it shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Store and it should show on the screen that you are taken to). If your balance is zero then it might not show.

Credit balances do not expire. First, make sure you're logged into the iTunes Store using the account ID and password you set up, or used, when you redeemed your cards. If you are, try signing out of the account and back in.
If you're sure you are using the correct account and that you're signing in to the iTunes Store, and signing out and back in doesn't help, go to the Purchase History and review your purchases to make sure that you should indeed have a balance left. iTunes doesn't always refresh the balance it shows, so it's possible you spent the money and it just wasn't being reflected in the display, thought it would be unlikely that you spent the entire balance unless you have a credit card on file as well.
If you confirm that you should have balance left but the iTunes Store isn't showing it correctly, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
