Hi,
You will no longer be able to sync manually with match. I would suggest that you wait until match has competed its process on your computer and that you are told how many tracks are in the cloud.
If you activate match on your iOS device too soon, you may find that all your tracks are not there. Ps it is not just artwork that is being uploaded, it's music as well.

You can authorise your account via the Store drop-down menu at the top of the iTunes screen - if you have iTunes11 then control-B should get the menus to show.

You need to transfer the music from your iPod on to your iTunes library on your PC, since that is where you are currently syncing and where you are signed into iTunes Match. It doesn't matter that you were previously syncing it with a Mac, and you won't need to reinstall iTunes on your PC. But you will have to use 3rd party software such as Touch Copy to transfer any music not purchased from the iTunes store from your iPod to your iTunes library. Here's another guide on this, which is shoter and you may find easier to follow: Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive. Also, if you're using iTunes 11, go to View>Show Sidebar. This will make it easier to follow along with these guides.

Yes, it would count against your data. The transfer part is part of your cellular coverage, whether it be from Apple's iCloud or a totally unrelated feed.

So, from the above, if you are sitting in an airplane and suddenly decide you want to listen to a song that has not downloaded to your device then you will have to wait until you can use your service again (or pay the airline to use their wireless).

I have my I tunes match working in my iphone, in my I pad, Apple tv but not in my mac book pro.
I changed from a PC where my i tunes library was, and when I bougth and changed to my macbook pro, I activated to I tunes match and it was working, now, it appears that I have the ammount of songs, but they dont appear in the itunes library. I think that the problem started since i Upload to Maverick X

Now turn match back on, signing in with the apple ID that you used to set up match. You will be asked to add this computer, do so. Once process complete you should see all the music you have in cloud.

I Had to reinstall windows on my computer. I made sure all my songs etc were on my iPods/iPad. Now when I plug the iPod in it says (in iTunes Match) that my music library will be deleted and replaced by what is in the cloud. However I don't want those songs erased. I want them to go up to the I tunes match cloud.
so that I can down load them again.
also how do I get I tunes match to remember my playlists? It only has album etc.

If you have an iPod make sure it is enabled to show the artwork.
A tip for finding suitable artwork is to go to Amazon, locate the album, save the picture to your desktop and drag it to the iTunes artwork pane. Another way would be to locate artwork using Google image search and put the artist or album name and save the picture you find there in the same way. There are also some programs like this one: iTunes Art Importer or MP3 Tag

Hi, I have purchased I-Tunes match which gets to stage 3 but then I get a message pop up advising me that I-Tunes has stopped working and then I-Tunes just closes down! Has anyone else experience this or know a solution?

Hi, I have purchased I-Tunes match but since doing so, I get to stage three of the transfer of library to I-Cloud which is downloading artwork, extra information etc and as soon as stage 1 and 2 turn into green ticks, a message pops up to advise that I-Tunes has stopped working and closes I-Tunes down! I have managed to get the bulk of my library across to I-Cloud so I can listen to music through my apple TV - However now every time I bring up I-Tunes, the I-Tunes Match recognises that there is still some artwork/songs that need to be transferred and again once gets to this same stage of the transfer process, I-Tunes closes down. Has anyone else experienced this or have any advice on as solution? I have a Sony NS-Series laptop with Windows Vista. Following the closure of I-Tunes, I then get another pop up message advising me that perhaps my current I-Tunes is not the most up to date version and recommends that I download the current version - however my I-Tunes version is currently up to date.

Frustration understood. May well be worthwhile simply:
1. Sign-out of iTunes Store
2. Shutdown computer
3. Start computer
4. Download and install latest version of iTunes
5. Launch iTunes, sign-in to iTunes Store, start iTunes Match & allow process to work to completion
By switching on iCloud Status, iCloud Download and Kind fields you can watch progress for any issues.

A great way to flag such an issue is to include a Screenshot of the point at which you find iTunes Match does not work - simply find PrintScrn key when the error is on the screen, hit the key, paste the result into simple accessory such as Paint, save as JPEG and using the camera icon to import the image alongside your supporting text.
Certainly Windows 7 both 32 bit and 64bit work very well with the latest version of iTunes and iTune Match.

Not at this time. The service is currently only availble in the U.S. Apple is probably in the process of negotiating licensing deals for other regions of the world.

Yes. You can use iTunes Match on up to 10 "devices." Do not confuse this with iTunes authorizations which are limited to 5 computers.

When the match process is not running iTunes match will not be present in the side bar, this is normal behavior.
If you go to store in the iTunes menu bar you should see "Turn off iTunes match" and "update iTunes match".
When the match process runs, after you have restarted iTunes, or manually selected update iTunes match it will re-appear in your sidebar.
