I-Tunes - menu, tool bars, commands, etc not readable

Help!
We have repeatedly installed and uninstalled several versions of I-Tunes. Virtually all of the information on the page is in a series of small blocks and uninteligible letters or other symbols. It's not another language - it's just garbage. While my daughter has seemed to figure out what some of the commands are - enough to perform downloads - the rest of us have found it to be totally unusable. I have not been able to find any similar posts nor any support on the Apple website.

You can also make sure you are in the correct store.
On the iTS home page, scroll down to the bottom. Make sure the little flag icon is showing your country, and not Japan or China.

Switched to Adobe CC, menus and tools are TEENY and not readable

I have gone into preferences, interface, and set the UI font size to large, but this is not large. I have reset the workspaces as well, I am in standard screen mode. This screen shot shows the menu drop down, vs. the menu labels and the tools, you can see the size difference. LightRoom is okay, this is not even readable. Photoshop on my other machine (CS5, not CC) is fine. The resolution is the same for all programs, and LightRoom and other programs are fine, it is just PhotoShop that is very, very small.

Thanks for the help. I installed CC and it fixed everything but Photoshop. I guess I will have to use my old laptop for images until Adobe fixes the problem. Do you know of a place where we can send issues like these to Adobe?

When starting Firefox either from the program menu or the toolbar, firefox loads in the minimized location on the tool bar. Firefox appears to correctly load the web site but I have not been able to maximize firefox. How do I get firefox to maximize?

Some add-on tool bars sporatically do not appear

Some of my add-on tool bars such as Roboform, my points, etc only appear on occasion. How do I get them to appear all the time?

The way I read your question is that it sounds like you have a mix of extensions where one or more of those extensions don't "play well with others". IOW, one or more of your extensions have a conflict with your other extensions. You didn't provide the ''correct'' Troubleshooting Information as requested when you started this thread, so I can't see everything you have installed and see if I can recognize any extensions that are known as problematic.

You're going to have to do some troubleshooting to find the cause. Starting with the extensions that add a Toolbar to Firefox, disable extensions one at a time and use Firefox until that problem re-appears; you may have to disable non-toolbar type extensions, too. It is quite possible that more than one extension could be contributing to your problem; that's a little harder to troubleshoot.

Hi, I cannot make Foxfire my default browser. There is no tool bar whether or not the page is maximized or not. When I change it in Safari, it looks like Foxfire will be my default browser, but it's not even after restarting. Thanks. Vickie

There is no tool bar in Foxfire--it doesn't matter if the page is maximized or not as indicated in one article. I changed the default browser in "preferences" on Safari, but it didn't REALLY change it.

Tool bar gifs are not showing up when the application left idle for long.

I have a Java application built with jdk sdk 1.4. This application was earlier on jdk 1.3 and very recently we moved to 1.4.
The problem here is, tool bar gifs don't show up when the application is left idle for long or kept minimized for long. After I minimize and maximize, they show up. Also sometimes few are seen and few are not, and again as I said minimize and maximize, the rest(which were not showing up earlier) turn and therest don't.
What could be the reason. This was not the case in jdk 1.3.
Any help wil be highly appriciated.

Top tool bar and workspace not responding to pointer

As I try to use some of the features on the top tool bar, the curser (pointer) is not activating some of the features. Ex. As I hover over an arrow up and down... sometimes it highlights and is usable, and sometimes it does not activate. sometimes it fades in and out like it is close but no cigar. Same when I go to pages on the left. If I try to double click on a page to go to it, it will not work. Also in the layers pallet, the add layer button does not work and sometimes double clicking on the layer name will not bring up the change name function.

This problem I am having with INdesign cs3 is with all documents. I am going through the Total training videos and I have to stop all the time in order to work around the simple way of doing what they are asking. Its like the program is not interfacing with the mouse correctly. On some parts of the tool bar hitting one thing will actually initiate another maybe to the left of the one that I want to do. Driving me crazy. I tried reinstalling the program from scratch and it continues to do the exact same thing.

TOOL BAR ADD TAB NOT WORKING EVEN AFTER REINSTALL.

ADD TAB IN TOOL BAR HAS BECOME NON RESPONSIVE. UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL DIDN'T HELP. YOU CAN STILL GET NEW TABS BY RT CLICKING FROM BOOKMARKS. BUT THE BUTTON AND THE PULL DOWN MENUS DON'T WORK. MY FIRST SUSPECT IS A VIRUS AS I JUST CLEANED ONE OUT OF MY SYSTEM. MAYBE A BROWSER HELPER LEFT SOMETHING FROM IT IN THE CODE. THIS WAS ABOUT THE TIME THAT NEW THREAT TO MOST OF THE WINDOWS SYSTEMS WENT OUT. SORRY CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH VIRUS I CLEANED. I CAUGHT IT AND CLEANED IT AUTOMATICALLY.

I want to create a new folder on my external hard drive for photos. Even though I added the new folder button to the tool bar it is not highlighted so I cannot click on it to create a new folder on this drive.

I have an external hard drive that I would like to pre-make a new folder before I import photos into it. Even though I added the new folder app to by toolbar, it is not highlighted and I cannot use it. It will only let me create new folders if I upload to iPhoto. That is not where I want to store everything. So I need to figure out how to turn on or activate New Folder on my toolbar for all possible downloading options.

If it's a drive that you've previously used with a PC, just double-check the format - click the drive once on the desktop to highlight it, and click cmd-i (the command key and the i key together) to see the Info window. That will tell you, under Format, how it's formatted.
If it's "NTFS", that's the current Windows format. You can read but not write to it with a Mac. If you want full read/write access, you should look into Paragon NTFS, which allows you to do both. Note that some features of te Mac (Time Machine, for example) will only work with Mac-formatted drives.

The UI is set to Large. I changed the display settings and it did not help.
I'm using a new Lenovo laptop. I have several licenses for my company and it installs fine on windows 7.

You can change it by using a theme or persona, for example the Firefox 3 theme for Firefox 4 - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/firefox-3-theme-for-firefox

I installed ask tool bar now mozilla not working correctly

I install Java and it came with Ask.com It installed on Mozilla and now when I open Mozilla it will open and then it will say not responding. Then it will crash (the mozilla page will close) When I try to open my mozilla again it will not open. I have restart my computer and the same thing happens. I cant even get on to mozilla to take the ask.com out. I tried the user profile instructions , but I can't follow them. Please Help

Icon for hp smart web printing has disappeared. Have rt clicked on tool bar. Customize. not there

Icon for hp web smart printing has disappeared in firefox. It does appear in IE but I use firefox most of the time. I rt clicked in upper right and chose customize. Icon is not there.

HP stopped updating Smart Web Printing for Firefox a while ago, it was last compatible with Firefox 3.5 - SWP didn't work with 3.6.
