I downloaded the new itunes and now the store will not load. PLease help!

it sounds like you created a bad Itunes since everyone is having this problem.
I didn't create a "bad iTunes". I didn't create any sort of iTunes at all. You're not addressing Apple here; we're all just your fellow users. Please keep that in mind as you post here. And everyone is not having this problem; I have iTunes on several Windows systems and it works just fine, though that of course doesn't diminish the fact that you're having problems. But nine times out of ten, the problem turns out not to be a problem with iTunes or the iTunes Store.
Run the Network Diagnostics in iTunes:

and post the results here. From that we may be able to offer additional suggestions. As a quick thought, if you have any sort of download/web accelerator on your computer or Internet connection, try disabling that accelerator and see if that makes a difference. Download accelerators are known to cause problems with some sites such as the iTunes Store.

    If you're sure where your library is run this script iTunesXMLPath. The library folder is the folder that file is in. Your media folder is recorded under Edit > Preferences > Advanced and is usually a subfolder of the library folder.
    I recommend you backup your library with the method in this user tip.

    Hi can anybody help or advise me? I've recently bought the i-phone 4s, I've set up my apple I.D and password but everytime I try and log in it says "this apple I.D has not yet been used on the i-tunes store" I click "review" follow the instructions and agree to the terms and condition's, enter my bank details but it declines every time? I've tried both my accounts and its declined both, this stops me from logging in so I can't download anything for free or buy anything, my sister had the option of skipping the bank details part when she created her apple I.D and just enters her's when buying something, why do I not have that option?? And why is it declining my bank details...please HELP!!!!!

    The details I'm entering are correct, I choose visa as my card type, enter my card number, enter my expiry date and my last 3 digts on the reverse of the card, enter my address and zip code plus my home telephone number, click continue and it says "the payment method you have selected has been declined, please enter another payment method". I've lost count how many times I've tried, I've typed my details in slowly making sure I put them in properlly and it still declines it, I've even tried makeing a new apple I.D and when I get to the bank details part it declines it again so I am forced to press cancel and all details are not saved so its just like I'm hitting a brick wall, its ******* me off!!! I can't even download any of the free app's because to do so you must log in but when I do it says "this apple I.D has not yet been used in the i-tunes store" review my details and can't get past the bank details part. So doesn't log me in, I'm honestly out of ideas

    Hello cor-el, thanks for your reply. I changed my settings for downloads to desktop and it has appeared on there. When I double click I am asked which program I want to open file. I click firefox and another box "opening install" says I have chosen to open the file which is an application and do I want to save it. This is the only real option so I press save file. I get a box saying this is an executable file which may contain viruses - do you want to run. I press ok and the final box showing C drive file name and desktop appears stating application not found.
    This happens the same whenever I try to install.
    To my untrained eye the application is not being recognised as an application and I cannot work out how to get it to do that.
    My plugin is still showing as out of date.
    Is there anything you could suggest. Thanks for your time.

    hours after the first post i somehow got this to work. dont know how, but i do tried the dns clear cache, the clear host file, oh and i did the check automatically detech dns AND THEN se-check it again before i got this to work.

I have tried deleting and then reinstalling I tunes with no luck.     Okay I was able to connect back to the I tunes store in I tunes 11.1 taking care of the error 0x80092013. I did this in XP going to the firewall controls, selecting the exception tab. I tunes was already in the exceptions tab but I deleted it anyway, then I added I tunes back using the Add Program button then browsing to the I tunes.exe location in the C drive then selected that as the program. I tunes showed back up in the exceptions once again. I then shut down the computer and restarted it and I then had a connection with I tunes. So the I tunes in the exceptions tab in the firewall was not working I just replaced it with a fresh one.

    Yes, you can add your own videos to iTunes, then sync them to your nano, subject to supported max resolution limit and file type.  The specs for the 7th gen nano says (I don't know which nano model you have), Video Format Support
    "H.264 video: 720 by 576 pixels, 30 frames per second; Baseline, Main, and High-Profile level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 256 Kbps; 48kHz; stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats
    MPEG-4 video: up to 2.5 Mbps, 720 by 576 pixels, 30 frames per second; Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 256 Kbps; 48kHz; stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats"

    (earlier nanos have lower max resolution limits)
    So, "HD" video is too high resolution, so iTunes will not sync such videos to the iPod (although they play in iTunes).  If you are asking how to set up iTunes to sync videos in general (regardless of source), please post back.

    I have the same operating system and I'm having the same problem but mine started after I updated itunes. I'm interested to see the solution!!

    ok, so tried to open my safari which was version 5.1.7 and i received the error message:
    safari can't connect to the server
    safari can't open the page http://www.apple.com/startpage/ because safari can't connect to the server www.apple.com
    The same error occurred with whatever site I tried to access, so I uninstalled Safari, then reinstalled version 3.2.3 and this time I got the error message:
    The same error message occurred with any website I tried to access. I am able to access all websites including banking etc on IE and firefox.
    Safari can’t open the page.

    Not sure how to check the logs for itunes though

    We are fellow users here on these forums. Have you tried logging out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logged in and seeing if it then works ?

    I've checked my 'firewall' and itunes is 'enabled', on running a check in i-tunes the following was noted;

    Secure connection attempt to iTunes Store was successful.
    Secure connection attempt to iPhone activation server was successful.
    iTunes has never successfully accessed iTunes store.
    Any ideas?
