I tunes wont read my blank CD!
i just got a Macbook and its the first time im burning a CD. when i insert the cd, itunes doesnt read it, the message keeps saying "insert blank cd" and i did!! what should i do?~ please help.... anyone?!!
I have found quite a few duds in a pack of 50 from the best names. Try one from the middle of the stack.

You should not need DFU mode - you phone is already in recovery mode - you just need to restore it in itunes. If you unable to restore you need to try another computer - preferably other network as well. If it is still not restored - it is a hardware problem.

I have recently reinstalled the Apple bundled software and installed all the latest updates. But when I connect my 2 Ipods to the mac, I tunes comes up with the following error message:
"Itunes cannot read the contents of the Ipod. Go to summary tab in Ipod preferences & click restore to restore this Ipod to factory settings"
After restoring the Ipod to factory settings I then went and transferred my music files to the Ipod. However after thinking the files were on the Ipod, when I went to listen to something there were no files on there at all!
I have tried restoring it a number of times, and I have the same problem with another Ipod, so it is a problem with either Itunes or the usb port. I have managed to add some files to the Ipod using another mac book and everything is ok.
Can anyone help me? What can I try next?

Since the last update my i tunes wont launch it just give error message Error 7 (Windows error 127) how do i fix it please?
Like many others I have been reading about online I am having the same error. I tried the fix listed above and simply wasted 30 minutes of my time. I scheduled a time for Apple to call and help me through this and their solution was for me to call Microsoft for some reason?!! iTunes made me upgrade then stopped working - I really don't see how this is a Microsoft problem??
Like Darren if a solution is not found quickly I will also have to sell my phone as the only way to get videos and music on my phone is through the software that you made me upgrade, broke and won't help me fix. -

Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the iTunes icon. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

Recently found a old G5 (DB 2.0 - June 2004) in a storage room. Which has the DVR-107PB superdrive installed; web searching shows that later versions shipped with the DVR-109. Coincidentally, I happen to have a DVR-109 in an old PC too ;o)
The firmware on the DVR109 was already upgrade to 1.58 (the latest from Pioneer (back in the day)).
I'd like to replace the installed 107 with the 109, however, when installed in the G5 the 109 wont read any burned or blank disks... just spits them back out.

You seem to have a lot of #fff codes in the CSS files that obviously aren't found with the long #ffffff search term (#fff finds them)

i tunes wont download for iphone it keeps poping up a little box saying find file what do i do ive tried 20 times to download this and cant finger it out. it acts like its done and right befoure it is this pops up.
I'm glad I was able to help. I kind of wish mine hadn't worked because I ended up being one of the "lucky" individuals where my phone didn't restore from the backup and I lost all of my contacts, calendar appts, notes, etc. It took me an extra 2 hrs last night to rebuild the next month worth of appts and try to rebuild my contact list from my yahoo contacts. Oh well. I will be getting an android at my next upgrade. I'm tired of all of the BS that comes with owning an iPhone.

No music in iTunes library and it wont read the content of my iPod? Help please!
So I recently updated to iTunes 10.7 and when I did, all of the content in the iTunes library was gone! i have tried many different things to get it to work, like restoring to a previous iTunes library, but it appears that all the previous iTunes libraries were also deleted when I updated! If there is no other way to get the music back than finding the original files and putting them into iTunes, I guess that will be ok.
The second problem I am having is that when ever I try to sync my iPod it takes a very long time to load, and then it says that iTunes can't read the content of my iPod and that I should restore to the factory settings, but because there is no music or apps in my iTunes library I dont want to do that, because then I will have no way of getting all of my content back on. And I can't restore to a previous backup because it wont read it as my iPod, it just comes up as an unkown iPod. This is very frustrating and I have tried everything I can think of. Please help!Try:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Try another cable and another USB port
- Reboot the computer.
- See if you can find the media by:
- See if a third-party progtam like one of those discussed here will allow you to get the music off the iPod

Every time i connect it to itunes all it says is "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate." Even thought there is a sim card connected in my phone.Is the SIM from a supported carrier?
Is the device carrier locked, officially unlocked, or hacked to be unlocked?
Has the SIM been reseated? If not, try that.
Also, basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore. Has any of that been tried? -

I dont know what happened, but when I first got my PC with vista 64, and had itunes installed with the iphone, everything worked. 3 days ago I reformatted my drives and reinstall windows and all my programs. I got itunes working with all my music and whatnot, but when I plug my iphone in to toss music on it, itunes wont read it. Windows knows it's there, but everytime I plug it in, the lower right hand corner the "windows is installing new driver blah blah" pops up, and then get an error message saying it couldnt install the driver. I go to device manager and windows thinks it's a digital camera. I did the whole update driver with the "c:\windows\system32\drivestore\usbaapl_" thing, and I got this message:

I have been googling the crap out of this and I am at wit's end with this. I've uninstalled/reinstalled itunes, cleaned registry, wiped all apple programs from the PC, anything google told me to, hahaha. I've installed the Adobe Reader Plug In. Yet every time I click to see a PDF, it opens another browser and it is blank. The Browser reads about:blank. How can I fix this so that PDF's open in the browser?
