I-Tunes wont work on my computer

i-Tunes wont work on my computer but it works on other computers , i tryed to install i-Tunes v8 but it says that i need XP or vista but i do have XP , i installed i-tunes 7.3 and it works but when i install the usb to my i-pod nano 4g it say i have to install i-tunes 7.6 or later . . ?
please help , any help will be useful . . .

my ipod nano (2nd generation) wont connect with windows or itunes, i used it last week (charged it through USB) then this week when i connect it (once again through USB) it wont work, it says "windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems" any help? ive made sure my itunes is up to date, done a reboot on my computer and ipod and still nothing..help please

This could either be a conflict with the iPod's docking port, the iPod's USB sync cable, or even the USB port you are plugging the iPod into on your PC. So the first thing I would try and do is plug the iPod into a different USB port on your PC. Make sure it's a high powered USB 2.0 port as they provide a higher power throughput than older USB ports or even the ones that are sometimes available on the front of the tower.
It might help to disconnected all other USB devices from the PC (minus the keyboard and mouse) and reboot the PC. Then reconnect the iPod once again.
If still no luck, swap out the cable with another known working cable to rule out the possibility of a damaged or faulty cable.
Lastly, plug the iPod into another PC to see if it's recognized there. If the same error appears on another machine, it's likely a hardware issue with the Nano meaning you'll want to have it serviced or replaced.

Java just wont work on my computer

i reinstllsd it more then 3 times alredy and tried using diffrent browsers
i have the newst one instelld right now
i have windows xp most updated
but no matter what java applet i am tring to open online it just wont work

Brittney26, A Windows Vista Driver should be compatible with the item in the event you cannot obtain a Windows 7 Driver for it. Have you also tried to perform an update through the Windows Update function of your operating system?

ITunes wont work on my computer

iTunes just does not work on my computer, it is fully installed and all that but when i go to open the program and error message appears telling me that "the folder 'iTunes' cannot be found or created, and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the 'My Music' folder" now i obviously have got a my music folder and there is also an iTunes folder in there from a previous installment of iTunes. Is there anything anybody knows that i can do to rectify this problem?

ITunes wont work since new computer

I had iTunes on my old computer and I just got a new computer and downloaded iTunes. I logged into iTunes but none of my songs are showing up, and I'm scared that if i plug my iPod into the computer that all of my songs will dissapear. Is there anyone who can tell me how to get my songs back without deleting all of them off of my iPod?

Your iTunes songs will be on the old computers hard drive, so you'll need to transfer them over to the new computer. You can plug your iPod into your new computer, it wont delete the tunes on it, but I dont think you can swap them from your iPod to iTunes very easily.

Mountain lion download wont work on my computer..why?

i have the mac book version 5.2 i think, the white one before the macbook now. i have snow leopard currently running on my mac, and i went into the app store and clicked to buy the mountain lion, and it said " OX S mountain lion is not compatabile with your computer" ... i meet all the requirements for the installation of it, why wont it work?

No, it's not too old. A MacBook 5.2 is a MacBook introduced in early 2009, so, it should be capable.

My ipod has completly knackered it's self and the touch screeen has completely packed in, wont work on the computer when i plug it in also i cannot switch it off or on standby. What should i do?

hard reset the ipod. IN THIS ORDER. plug in the ipod, turn the ipod off, open itunes, press the sleep button (top) for 3 seconds, continue to press the sleep button and also (at the same time) press the home button. Contunue to do this until 3 seconds after the screen flashes. Then release the sleep button and continue to press the home button until the ipod shows up in itunes. do a factory reset.

My new charger wont work for the computer but will work in the wall charger

So recently, the charger for my Ipod touch 5th generation broke(my puppy chewed it) so I went to get a new charger. I found that the new charger was not working when i plugged it into my computer. After i returned the charger, and got one that seemed a little better, i plugged it into my computer and found that that one also didnt work. I was extremely angry and confused about why they werent working. I was wondering if the problem was my ipod or the charger or the computer. So i plugged it into a wall charger in the wall and that did work! So now im assuming its just my computer but it has always worked before when i plugged it into my computer untill the last charger i had broke. Any idea how to fix this? Or is this unfixable?

i bought a gatway computer with windows 7 on it and the linksys wusb600n wireless adapter-its supposed to be compatible with windows seven but its really not. does anyone know a good adapter that works? i have a linksys router too.

ugh i call the **** numbers and they put me on hold!!!... i go on itunes and press download ENTIRE music library then i press aply and look at the audio bar that say 291 songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then i press sync and it then says 10 songs!!!!!!!!!!! ***!!!! help!!! im like one step away from taking this ****** thing back to the store

First a few tips if you have not renabled these items
Ctrl B puts back the Top Menu
View > Show Sidebar makes it look and work like itunes 10
View > Show Status bar puts the grey bar back at the bottom where song stat are displayed
Click on black arrow in search box and Untick Search Entire Library
Now to what I think is your issue. Generally if a song is unchecked it will not sync or play as part of a playlist.
So Select your Music and choose songs view. Is there a column with the tick mark at the top of it?
If not then click View > View Options and select the checked option this will display that column.
Do all songs have a tick? If not then select all songs ctrl A and right click. Select Check Selection.
Try resynching does that work?

just started happening. everything else seems to be working fine, but if i click on a song it will not start to play. the timer on song remains at 0:00 and thats it. Music seems to work fine on ipod. any suggestions?
