I uninstall my CS3, then try to reinstall, but....

ok, there's problem with my company computer. I was using photoshop CS3, but one day, it just can't let me "save as", then the other day, illustrator got the same problem too, so i can only "save"...then after a week, i think things got worse. PS can't let me "save" too. So i called our IT guy, but he doesnt know what to do, he just told me to uninstall and reinstall the whole CS3. so I followed what he told me, and now i can't even open the program.
Everytime i tried to open, it said "Licensing for this product has stopped working - you cannot use this product at this time, you must repair the problem by uninstall and reinstall this product or contact your IT department or adobe customer support for help." The point is our IT guy doesnt want to help me at all. So i have no idea what to do.

Hi Michael. I tried that. The Adobe tech support sent me to the website to get it. I downloaded it, ran it, and tried to launch my Adobe programs and nothing. It still said the same thing. I am running it right now again for the third for fourth time though because I noticed some modified date files of today. I do not know what that means.
However, I have read about from other users of doing something to the FlexFile which I made sure it said manual and was started. Nothing worked there.
Someone on another forum said to rename the FlexFolder to FlexFolder_old.  I don't know if I should do that. Any other advice?

    We had this problem after upgrading to iOS 8.       The iPhone 5 would not backup either to the cloud or to the computer.   Backup always ended with an error message.
    Long story short, with the help of iFunBox ( which I used to make manual backups of some important iPhone data files ), I discovered two games that
    would crash iFunBox.      They were not important games for us, so I didn't try to isolate the offending data files.     And I deleted the two games from the iPhone.
    Apparently these two games conflicted with iOS 8 just as they did with iFunBox.      The next backup without those games was then successful.
    I backed up to both the Mac and the cloud.

    this is not the first time I have had flash updates corupt my firefox, but this time I was unable to reinstall firefox. I am running windows XP Home service pack 3. AMD Athlon 64 processor 3500+ 2.21 GHZ with 3.25GB ram.

    Is the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) still there?
    If so then try to delete that folder.

  • HELP!! Uninstalled iTunes, try to reinstall but iTunes download just stops.

    After iTunes update, my iPhone sync would freeze up during "backing up iPhone". Apple website says to uninstall/reinstall iTunes. After uninstalling according to the sequence recommended at Apple.com, I try to download new iTunes but it repeatedly freezes at 12%. I have followed all of Apple.com's troubleshooting steps, (delete temp dirs, rebooting repeatedly, removing registry entries, etc.), but nothing helps. Does anyone know how I can get the new version of iTunes to download? Thanks for your help.

  • I uninstalled Photoshop Incorrectly and Want to Reinstall but Don't Have the Option...

    I use a Mac and I dragged the Photoshop folder (from applications, not Adobe specifically) into the trash can. Like a true genius, I deleted the trash can items to make sure it was super gone. (Long story) So I'm attempting to reinstall it now, but when I open the creative cloud app, it acts as if Photoshop is still installed. Help

    I currently bought Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium 5 myself and found that it only is offered in 64 bit rate and me and like many others are running at 32 bit.  Make sure your computer is compatible with the software first before you purchace. (unlike I did).

  • Firefox just won't start, but IE starts ok ~ I have uninstalled Firefox and downloaded Firefox and reinstalled, but still won't load ~ no error messages show

    I have run Firefox with no problems for years, but all of a sudden the last 2 days it just won't load. IE and email works okay. I was able to download Firefox by using IE to get on the internet, but I just can't get Firefix to work. Have rebooted a number of times.

    I am running XP/Pro SP3. Last Patch Tuesday I installed the latest Microsoft updates. Yesterday I updated Firefox from 3.6.11 to 3.6.12. Since then I have been unable to start Firefox.
    Using the desktop icon, using the start menu icon, double clicking firefox.exe all do nothing - a slight flurry of activity and then nothing.
    There are no reports in Event Viewer relating to Firefox.
    As reported by another, Internet Explorer works.
    I just installed 3.6.11 over top of 3.6.12 and Firefox works again.
    Since I would rather have the security updates of 3.6.12, I hope you can get to the bottom of this soon.

  • HT1349 I can't sync my current itunes to the newer version of 10.5 because of bounjour saying it can't be changed or modified. I have tried to uninstall it and then reinstall itunes but the end result is the same, what can I do?

    It seems that I can't update my itunes because Bounjour 3.0.2. or something along those lines is missing from my computer or is corrupted. I have uninstalled itunes and then re-installed it but it won't accept the newer version of itunes. Is there a way I can fix this problem?

    THIS WILL SOLVE YOUR SYNC PROBLEMS ON ITUNES
    Header 2
    Start bar, then accessories, then RIGHT click command promt and run as admin
    Once the command prompt window opens, type in “Netsh winsock reset” at the end of the prompt. Like this:  C:\windows\system32_netsh winsock reset
    After it comes back “successful”, it will ask you to restart your computer. Do this.
    After the restart, start iTunes, DO NOT PLUGIN YOUR iPHONE/iPAD/iPOD YET!!
    Go to Edit > Preferences and click on Devices
    Check “Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically” and click OK
    Now you can plug in your device
    Once iTunes recognizes your device, right clicked on your device and back it up that way first.
    And then performed a sync and all is well

    I expect you are deleting your history at the end of your session, as opposed to only clearing cache.
    Make sure your are saving history, then in the settings that you are not clearing history.

    App-tabs are considered part of browsing history so you must save your browsing history for app-tabs to work.

    Due to security vulnerabilities, rolling back to Firefox 4.0.1 is not recommended. Firefox 3.6.18 would be the safer choice.
    Here's the process to roll back:
    First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
    Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
    Close Firefox 5.
    You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
    Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
