1)I purchased a license for Adobe Illustrator CC (and my expired trial version was for Adobe Illustrator CC)
2) I am using Mac OSX, 10.7.5
3) I just removed the previous installation with disable / remove Illustrator CC from the files programs

Transfering CS5 student version to another computer

Hi, I've been reading that you can not transfer the liscence of a CS5 student version to another person, but what does this exactly mean? If I install the software on my desktop computer and my computer dies a week later am I out all the money I put into it? My understanding is that this is to prevent students from sharing the software, but does this mean that there is NO way to get it to another computer that I own or will own if I have trouble with the one that it is on??? help greatly appreciated and wanted

you have to activate the license and can only install it on one computer which means exactly that not what you wrote.
You are reading it as if you want to find a way around this so you can share it with your friends.
Do not try it.
Install it on your computer and use it in good health. Read what is ays above do not listen to what your friends tell you, if you are doing so.

HT1923 Can't uninstall old itunes version from a Windows XP PC. Where do I get AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi?

I am trying to update my previous itunes on a Windows XP PC to version 10.6.3. However, this update did not download when I clicked that option in the itunes popup.
I then downloaded the current itunes from the Apple download site and tried to install it. The installation failed because it could not uninstall the current itunes on the PC.
I then uninstalled itunes using the Windows 'Add or Remove Programs'. However when I tried to install the 10.6.3 itunes after doing the uninstall it failed again with the message that it could not unistall itunes.
I went to the Genius Bar at the local Apple Store. The technician asked if I had completed the other 5 step required to uninstall itunes from a PC that is on the Apple support website. I had not.
Following the instructions on the Apple support for uninstalling itunes I uninstall Quicktime from my PC. However, the next step was to uninstall AppleUpdateSoftware if it was present. In was, but when I tried to uninstall it I got a message that AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi was missing. It is not on my computer hard drive. Where can I get this file to put it where it needs to be on my hard drive? Is there an alternative way to uninstall Where do I get AppleSoftwareUpdate from my computer.
I haven't got to removing Bonjour yet!

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:

I recenlty purchased a student version from Amazon and when i received it was for north America. I am a student in Australia and need to activate it.
Can i get this version activated or who can i speak to?

Simply return it. Edu versions must be bought through local channels in order to obtain proper serials. Since obviously you are not able to prove eligibility by presenting papers from an NA school/ college/ university, you're running in circles. Anyway, talk to Adobe support by phone or live online chat, there may still be a way.

The problem resolved itself when I resynced the iPod with my computer. I suspect the error displayed when I tried syncing with my laptop and canceled out of it.

You have to buy iPhoto from the Mac App Store.

I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. The activation server shows that it is now activated on two computer, it has been deactivated once .
When you install it on the third computer or for the third time & when you to activate it, if it installed & activated already twice, there will be an option of deactivating it from the previous computers, please click on that.(To deactivate from preinstalled machine, Open any Adobe CC application > Help Menu > Signout.)
Next it will allow you to activate on your new machine,
Now you can go back to your first computer, log out & log back in of Desktopp CC App, launch any product, if there is any product to buy, in that prompt there will be an option to " license the software", please click on that & sign in.
It will reactivate the CC on the first machine.
You have already deactivated it from one machine, hence you can activate it on third computer.

Can't delete Airport Utility and reinstal from scratch as it is, “AirPort Utility” can’t be modified or deleted because it’s required by Mac OS X.
Any sugestions?

I reinstalled AirPort 5.5.3 which worked, but the app still won't launch but iTunes now recognizes my AirPort Express, I just hope I don't want to change its settings.
