I uninstalled Lenovo OneKey Recovery program windows 8 (64 bit)

I don't care about my back up file, I was planning on making a new one anyways but I can't find any way to download it. I tried getting the Windows 7  64bit version but when I install it it's an entirely different icon and when I open it it says "driver installation failed
please reinstall application"
I already have though.
can anybody help me by giving me a safe, working download link.

  • Lenovo OneKey Recovery for Windows 7 64bit does not work

Does anyone have a patch or new release link for Lenovo OneKey Recovery? I recently bought a G450 and Win 7 Ultimate-64bit separately, there is no link available in the support and download page under this model yet. I tried installing the Vista 64 bit version and still does not work as well. I did a clean install downloaded the drivers from the Lenovo support page.
    Solved!

You haven't provided a link to the page you are trying to download from. On top and at the right of most download pages there should be a red loud speaker next to the print page button, just click on it in order to report a faulty download or possible other problems with the page.
Is the following page the page you were trying to download from? If so you can submit direct feedback if the download doesn't work for you.

  • Windows 8 Reset, Lenovo OneKey Recovery, Partitions - confusion

    Hi everyone,
    I have a few questions - I have a Yoga 2 Pro:
    1. I created a separate partition for my documents on the hard drive. If I use Lenovo OneKey Recovery will that destroy the partition?
    2. Following Question 1, will the OneKey Recovery run successfully given the existence of said partition?
    3. I assume that the OneKey Recovery image on the hard drive provided by Lenovo includes all their software (OneKey Recovery, Energy Manager, EasyCamera, etc). If I use the Windows 8 Reset feature will that software still be installed or will it be a completely clean OS - as if, for example, I were to acquire a windows 8 ISO and use that for installation?
    4. Where the heck is my Windows 8 Product Key?
    Thanks in advance,
    - ice

    Great
Is there any way I can fix this? Without having to spend $?
EDIT: The other thing I should mention is that I used Windows itself to create this new partition. DISKPART gives the following:

  • Missing ON Secunia PSI DataBase, Lenovo Dependency package & Lenovo onekey Recovery

Is there anyone Here that would be able to please add these 2 missing programs to Secunia PSI  DataBase,
they are, Lenovo Dependency package & Lenovo onekey Recovery, as i cannot find the correct EXE version files to send to Secunia or find what exactly the latest versions are.
    Cheers XFOX .

    Hello,
I believe one actually needs to report this to Secunia, and then they hunt down the information with the vendor in question.
At least, that was my experience:  They contacted me with some questions about how to read versioning information in my employer's software in order to identify when it was out-of-date, etc.

  • Download hp recovery manager windows 10 64 bit

    Hello everyone
i upgrade my laptop to windows 10 and Unfortunately i lost everything because i made some mistake, however i find some solution is to used "HP recovery manager"
i read many article about"HP recovery manager" but i can't find link useful for Windows 10.
so i wish anyone could help me to download hp recovery manager windows 10 64 bit.
    thanks and regards

I am trying to Perform an HP system recovery (Windows 7) but is not working.
I press F11 and there is an error:
obviously I don't have the recovery manager and I also dont have the windows instalation disc, that's why I made a copy in a USB and tryed to install it that way.  The screen shows a Windows BCD store issue. That should'nt be a big issue to resolve
So, the only solution is to order a recovery disc from HP and then I install the HP recory manager?  It is the best solution.
by this way after doing that can I  install the windows 7? You can always install Windows 7 as log as you have the twenty five character license activation key.
Once you have the recovery usb media you can put your notebook back into the state it was in when you removed it from the box whenever there is a serious issue. If Windows 7 was the OS it was delivered with then running the recovery manager and performing a factory image recovery will reinstall Windows 7 and the recovery partition.
Do yourself the favor of ordering the usb recovery media instead of a recovery disk set. USB recovery media is durable, unlike a recovery disk set, which can be damaged by a simple scratch on the label side.

  • W510 problems with Nvidia driver recovery under Windows 7 (64 bit)?

Lenovo W510, Nvidia Qudardo FX 880M video, FHD:
What I'm seeing on occasion is a Windows 7 (64-bit) recovery, screen blanks out, goes 2-3 seconds, then recovers, things go back to normal, but a message displays saying that an error was detected in the video driver, and it has recovered. The new Firefox (4.0.1) seems to be one of the things that may be a contribution, hard to tell.  Per System Update at least, I'm current on the Lenovo downloads. SIW shows the driver level as 8.17.12.5738 (2010-06-27). Nvidia web-site shows their current driver level on the wen-site as 270.61 (2011-04-18), which is a considerably newer date at least. So two questions:
Has anyone else seen Driver/Recovery issues on Win 7 (64)
Has anyone directly run the Nvidia video drivers and had them run OK?
Seems like it would be nice for Lenovo to update their drivers, if indeed this is a driver issue, they appear back-level.

I used to have this problem with my W510 running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit, especially Firefox 4 crashing the Nvidia display driver almost constantly. I googled and found that this is a known problem between older Nvidia driver and Firefox 4. Later on I downloaded the latest version of Nvidia driver from Lenovo website (it was not posted on the System Update server yet but was available on the regular download site). I clean-installed it (i.e., removing all files and settings created by the old driver) and I haven't experienced the problem since then.

  • Getting error code 0x400110020000100b while doing system recovery for windows vista 32 bit.

I attempted to do a system recovery on my Laptop using the included recovery discs and got this error 0x400110020000100B. THe disc looked pretty beat so last week I ordered a new set. Now when I got to put disc 2 in (at 80% complete) I get the same error.  I called customer support and he took me through the F9 process to no avail and I've also tried the F11 approach which got me no where.  I'm frustrated because I really don;t have the money for a new laptop.
Laptop is a HP Pavilion DV6700.

  • Cannot uninstall Adobe Acrobat 8 on Window 7 64-bit

I've been running the CS3 suite on windows 7 64-bit for years with no problems. Suddenly, most CS3 applications won't open, and if they do, they lock up. So, I figure no problem, I'll uninstall and then re-install. Wronk!
    (1) I could not deactivate the license
    (2) Acrobat will not uninstall
    (3) I tried to uninstall with no success
    (4) I'm basically stuck with and old suite of expensive applications that do not work
    (5) Adobe's support is worthless and/or nonexistent
    (6) Did I mention that Adobe support sucks!!!
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hi Timothy,
We regret for the inconvenience caused to you!!
As i understand you are facing issues with uninstalling Acrobat... I would recommend you to run Acrobat Cleaner tool on your system and let me know if that helps.
Moreover what exactly did you meant by "suddenly, most CS3 applications won't open, and if they do, they lock up" ??

  • Lenovo G405 Incompatibility with Windows Vista-32 bit

Hello I'm new here so I wasn't so sure if this is properly posted here but thanks.
I bought a Lenovo G405 laptop that came with dos 6.22 or 6.2.2 or something. Then I performed a clean installation of Windows Vista 32-bit. The problem is that, I can't find any drivers for lenovo g405 that is compatible with windows vista .. Even the AMD Auto diagnostic tool refuses to install the detected driver since it was Hardware/Software Incompatible. Any suggestions? or Links for Win Vista Drivers for Lenovo g405. Thanks!

If your model is lacking the correct Vista drivers from Lenovo and Vista doesn't offer native support then I see upgrading to Windows 7 as your only option.  Here is a link to what Lenovo drivers are available.......

  • FDE - Emergency Recovery Disks- Windows 7 64-bit

Has anyone gotten the Emergency Recovery Disks to work with Windows 7 64-BIT? I followed the instructions in the guide Manuel creation and the automated PowerShell solution,(changed the x86 to amd64) but i keep getting the following error when WinPE boots: "missing or corrupt NBFDENC.SYS Error:0xC0000359. Anyone have any ideas?
As a test, I ran the 32-bit version and it ran well on my PC at home (Win XP 32-bit)
Unfortunately, it's for work and our environment is Win 7 - 64bit.
Here is what I am referring too. I followed every direction. Still no go:Novell Documentation

Yes I noticed this as well. Seems the Plug-In is probably only really for x86 Systems. Even though there are supposedly x64 bit aes.sys etc files I think the nbfdenc.sys file is not x64 only x86. For my ERD I borrowed the aes.sys etc + nbfdenc.sys from my running system and placed them in the ERD. Then it was running.
Also I noticed the sys files from the plugin in 11.2.3a weren't the same version as those on my client. When I look to an actual Secude release (which I think is version 9.6.6.? at the moment) of the plugins, then the plugin versions are the same as the installed version.

  • Can't uninstall Lenovo Power Manager in Windows 8 - upgraded from Windows 7

Hi all, I recently purchased a Lenovo X230. It was preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium. I upgraded this system to Windows 8 Pro without any problems.
I noticed that Windows 8 Pro has some issues with the Lenovo Power Manager, which after perusing this forum seems to be pretty incompatible with Windows 8. I am trying to uninstall the Power Manager in the Control Panel, but I can't find the application to install. I only see an option to uninstall the Lenovo Power Management Driver. Does anyone know how I can uninstall the entire Lenovo Power Manager from my system?

Backstory: I installed the Power Manager on a clean installation of Windows 8 by setting it to Windows 7 Compatibility Mode.  It seemed to be working swimmingly, until the next day when I tried to use it and discovered that it would always crash on start-up.  Unfortunate.  I naively attempted to correct this problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the application.  Strangely, I was able to successfully uninstall the program using the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel and then reinstall the program.  But, despite the reinstallation the problem persisted and I tried to uninstall the program again.  It would not uninstall, claiming the installer wasn't compatible with my system.
Fix: Run "C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{DAC01CEE-5BAE-42D5-81FC-B687E84E8405}\Setup.exe" -l0x9 -AddRemove from an administrative command prompt.  This should completely remove Power Manager and it's entry in the Add/Remove Programs console.  The GUID may be different if you were not using the most recent version of Power Manager, I installed 6.36.  The additional power plans that it originally installed are still in the Windows Power control panel.
I am still wrestling with the Power Manager to get it working somewhat reliably on Windows 8.  I am very disappointed that this level of effort is required on a new system that is Windows 8 compliant.

  • The Lenovo OneKey Recovery

Hi.Let's just say I did something really stupid and now I want to restore my laptop to factory settings. The previously mentioned stupid thing happened during the installation of Kali Linux so right now, I don't know whether Kali is installed or not.Does running the OneKey feature restore the entire laptop back to factory state, along with the removal of Kali?If not, exactly what all does it revert and how do I know if Kali has been installed or not?

OKR will work again if you restore with the discs.
It will resize the partitions back the way it was.
How I do it is if I get a new machine, I burn recovery discs right away.  Then, once I get Windows up and running the way I want with all my programs in there, I save a full backup to an external hard drive.  Then, if the hard drive fails, or Windows gets corrupted or whatever, I use the discs to restore to factory and then use the backup to put everything back the way I want it.
Then I can delete partitions and resize anything I want knowing that with the discs and the backup, I can put it back if I have to.

  • How to uninstall lenovo fingerprint software in windows 7?

i just upgraded from vista 32 to win7 32,  the fingerprint software that came with win 7 works but my lenovo one doesn't,  i just want to uninstall it but it won't let me.  Keep saying the software is not supported in this version of windows. Anyone else have this problem and how do I solve this?
I also tried installing one of those win7 beta software from the lenovo website.  it doesn't work and won't allow me to uninstall the old one.

i guess i'm not the only one.  right now i'm using the windows 7 finger print software and it works.  but the login screen still has the lenovo one which is annoying and the password manager finger print doesn't work with the windows 7. I don't want to have to do a clean install so I guess i'll just wait a little longer until more people get the official release and hopfully there will be software or drivers that would fix this.
