Although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. As for your problem, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. I think I may have a virus! My keyboard is not working properly. When I press the zero key, it doesn't appear. Other keys that do not work include the directional keys, delete key, and others. I tried everything that I can think of to fix it, but nothing sesems to be working. Should I bring the keyboard and=/or the entire computer into my local Apple store+? see, the +? appears before the question mark, and I didn't put it there! Thanks!
No need to take the computer at this stage. Just take the keyboard into your local Apple store for examination. If you have another machine, not necessarily Apple, you could try the board on that or perhaps a friend's machine … they are largely universal.

I am unable to "single space" a document in Wordpad now that I have a new emachine with windows 7 preinstalled. I used Wordpad when I had Windows XP OS and loved it,however in the menu of Wordpad 7 at the top of the app it shows what to click to single space your document, but it does not work. I researched the problem with different sources, and all said they were experiencing the same issue. I liked Wordpad program in Xp to just type simple documents and letters, but I cannot use single space in Window 7.
Does anyone know how to address this issue. I just want a simple program that is easy to understand.

I recently had a problem with my iPhone 3G. I upgraded to OS 5.1.1. The thing crashed. I took it to the AT&T store and they cleared it of everything. So I re-installed all of my personal stuff and apps. All is again OK with the exception of the calendar. It will not sync with my home computer and is blank. How do I correct this?

i want help, not the same comments that i will not be helped. i admit my fault as the owner that i had the accident, but i believed that i was secured with my warranty. otherwise i would ha decided to do not have it if i was going to be the one paying to be fixed... how can i still trust Aplee Corp if the are not helping me with a devise that i paid the price that they decided giving me a warranty to be sure that i am secure while i use my devise. now i would like to know if i can have a refund of the warranty because i am looking for a different way to fix it because i have to pay and pay. but i paid for this situation and i had such assintance leaving me aside telling me that i am hopeless and also that i have to pay more and more.

It never - ever has. The manufacturer's warranty covers you against faults due to manufacturing. (So if the screen did crack due to a manufacturing defect, Apple warranty would cover it, BUT - Apple would be aware and would be able to identify the cause of a cracked screen due to manufacturing defects, so ...)

You have to upgrade to 10.6.8 to be able to download iTunes 10.7 or 11. The 10.6 Snow Leopard DVD is in the Apple online store. You can get it for $19.99. First we need to know which one of the 9 different models of MacBook you have. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier and post it back here.
The Early 2006 model 1,1 Core Duo can only run a maximum of 10.6 Snow Leopard.
The models Late 2006 Core 2 Duos 2,1 through Early 2008 4,1 can only run a maximum of 10.7 Lion.

Many add-ons do in fact work if you force them to run. The procedure to roll-back is given in this article: [[installing previous versions of firefox]]
Unfortunately the official Firefox policy is that you downgrade to 3.6 which is supported for a while longer, and not the now unsupported Firefox 4. If after installing and running the ''add-on compatibility reporter'' you still have problems there are ways around the official policy.
I think it is absurd that Firefox 4 may be used by tens of millions of users one day and a few days later those that upgrade to Firefox 5 should be not only told not to use a now unsupported browser, if they need to revert due to problems, but are actually obstructed in attempts to do so. You can try this reset procedure to see if it helps:
Double click the Home button. Slide up with one finger on ALL your apps to close them.
Then, Press the Sleep/Wake button + Home button and hold 15 seconds or until you see the Apple logo.
This will reset your device without erasing data, apps or settings. -

Yesterday I upgraded my MacBook Pro 13" (Early 2013) to 10.10.3. I immediately started having problems with it opening apps slowly. So I read and discovered it had replaced some of my apps with newer versions. I also restarted it 2 or 3 times. That seemed to solve that problem. This morning I get on and it is doing the same thing, but it is limited to the Calendar. Anything I try to do in the Calendar gets me the spinning beachball, from opening it to editing to adding an event. I have many dates and events saved that I don't want to lose. Am I going to have to reinstall the Calendar? If so, how can I do it without losing my content?

I did not have a specific category that said "log list" once I got to "All Messages". It just showed "Log" so that is what I am sending you. The other thing is that the timestamp is 9:23:?? the next is 9:34:?? and the problem occurred at 9:32:??. So you are getting the log from 9:23 until it repeats.

To get pass the passcode lockscreen, recovery mode and restoring should help: iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
