I UNPAIRED MY remote by mistake please help me

hey guys i just unpaired my apple remote by mistake i think by holding play/pause button and the menu button for like 6 seconds and now i cant re- pair my apple remote with my ATV2 , when i click something on the remote the led light on the atv2 flashes twice and nothing happens, please help me , how do i re pair my apple remote?

If you unpair the remote, the Apple TV will (or should) respond to any appropriate remote, so the problem isn't that you unpaired (assuming that you actually did unpair).
I have had this happen a few times with my Apple TV 2. After power-cycling the Apple TV, it responds to my remote (and then I can re-pair it so that it won't respond to other remotes).

Sorry, when you create a new Sync Key your data is erased from the Sync server and there are no backups made to the Sync server.

About listener mistake,please help me!!

I installed oracle10g on RHEL4 successfuly(ship.db.lnx32.cpio).But I get errors when I execute lsnrctl:

Typing sqlplus and getting a response may simply mean that you have the PATH set up correctly.
The listener also needs to find things like the listener.ora file, and for that it wants to have the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID.
When I have problems, the first thing I do in RedHat or SuSE is:
set | grep -i ORA
and make sure I have reasonable entries for ORACLE_SID, ORACLE_HOME and PATH
To set everything properly, I use Andreas' suggestion and enter
. oraenv ... to use the /usr/local/bin/oraenv routine (/user/local/bin is hardcoded in my PATH)
As a matter of fact, the .profile or .bash_profile for all the userids that are supposed to access or manage oracle have the lines
export ORACLE_SID=orcl # change orcl to the default SID you want to use
ORAENV_ASK=NO
. oraenv
ORAENV_ASK=
just to make sure the SID, HOME and PATH are set properly. You would be surprised how many problems this resolves.

Could someone comment on pros and cons of the JSP back-end interfaces to the remote server/programs using..
(1) Socket Interface between JSP and Remote Server. One socket for one JSP session. JSP to create and delete the socket when done.
(2) RMI between JSP and Remote program.
(3) Message Exchange using JMS between JSP and the Remote Server.
(4) Peer-to-peer JAXM message exchange. JSP/JAXM Client to Remote JAXM Server
(5) Anything else?

delete the socket when done.JSPs are compiled to servlets, which use the HTTP protocol. The remote server should be the servlet/JSP engine.
(2) RMI between JSP and Remote program.As soon as you say "JSP", you're assuming HTTP request/response. If you want to talk to RMI objects, I think that's best done elsewhere than a JSP. They really should be for interface only. Have your JSP talk to a central, front controller servlet and have it invoke methods that deal with RMI objects or EJBs or POJOs on the back end. That stuff doesn't belong in JSPs, IMO.
(3) Message Exchange using JMS between JSP and the Remote Server.No.
(4) Peer-to-peer JAXM message exchange. JSP/JAXM
Client to Remote JAXM ServerNo. This is crazy. JSP = HTTP, which is client/server by definition.
(5) Anything else?All these might be fine options, but they don't belong in JSPs. Those should be for Web interface, a thin client. The details of how you process (e.g., RMI vs. EJB, synchronous vs. asynchronous, etc.) are best encapsulated somewhere else besides a JSP.
HTTP is a client/server, synchronous, request/response protocol, of course. As soon as you say JSP, these assumptions are built into your system. You can do asynchronous processing, but you still have to send back a response synchronously (e.g., "Your order is being processed. Please come back.")

Big problem and very stupid mistake, please help me

I was about to put leopard on my iBook g4 when on the read before installing thing it said if you want to start fresh delete your hard disk. I did that and the cd didn't work so now I'm stuck with nothing on my computer. Oh and by the way I don't understand why it didn't work, when I put the cd in and I restarted my computer it just made weird noises for a few hours and nothing happened. Thanks for helping!

As far as retrieving your data (if you have no backup) before you do another operation on that drive your best bet is Prosoft Data Rescue. There is a free trial to see if it can recover what you need. But don't do another operation on that drive until you've downloaded and run it. Also, a service that has been recommended but I cannot personally endorse is DriveSavers.

.swf won't load remotely...please help

Ok, so I have been working with the FlipBook dreamweaver extension and once I upload to my server
the .swf file won't load. However, everything works like a charm when tested locally. All corresponding
xml and js files are in place and the code looks fine. I've had this issue once before, and after much time spent on Google it
seemed there could be a problem with how the swf is being uploaded. I finally got it to work via uploading
through the web based control panel. Unfortunately, we switched hosts and can only upload via FTP now.
So I'm stuck again..any ideas how to remedy this situation? Thanks. -Bryan

MAke sure you have all the supporting files loaded to the srver. Also, the flashvars line(s) in your embedding code that appear to have some stray "&"s in them that probably needs to be a real "&"s

Stupid mistake, please help

i recently deleted quicktime to revert back to an older version and in doing so, i seem to have messed up my built in isight. it still works with imovie and photobooth but every time i try to open up video chat in ichat and skype, it says in ichat "camera is in use by another application" and in skype "no camera detected"
anyone know how i can fix this problem?

I think i have to invoke the rsh command with the machine name for it but it is giving error as follows:

Well you could always get your programs to talk to each other via RMI (for example)
Otherwise I would script this using ant and use ssh since rsh is insecure.

I'm having trouble setting up a VPN using MAC OSX 10.4.11 Server. I have and XSAN system and one of my volumes has been down for quite a while now. There is a very kind MAC IT professional that is willing to help be troubleshoot my system but he needs to be able to access my system remotely. I am able to connect the MDC to DSL but I haven't been able to set up the VPN. Please help, this is an emergency. Thanks!

ITunes, iPad, Remote app Home Sharing Problems. Please help!

So I have my 13" Macbook Pro with the latest version of iTunes installed (10.5.2)
I also have a 32GB Wifi iPad 2 with iOS (5.0.1) with the Remote app installed.
I am so frustrate with this stupid Home Sharing. I followed the directions the app gave me beginning with turning on Home Sharing on iTunes on my MacBook with my account. I then used the same account to turn on Home Sharing on my iPad from the Remote app. I wait a bit, and wait some more, and yet my iTunes library isn't shown in my Remote app like it is in my iPhone.
I've tried to find the answer to my problem via Google and these Apple Support Communities, but with no fix.
I wish you could just connect your device to the computer and punch in the 4-digit code like they used to have you do.
Please help! Thanks in advance.

Try turning Home Share off then on on the MacBook Pro and then check Remote App to see if now appears and you can connect - for me it works but eventually I will have to repeat the process to get it working again.
The four digit code method still works.
OS 10.7.3, iTunes 10.6.1 and iOs 5.1.1
