I up loaded the new Yosemite OS X and now I can't send out messages on my gmail account? It states I no longer have smtp server?

I updated to the OS X 10 Yosemite and now I am no longer able to send out gmail messages. I can receive but unable to send. An error comes up prompting me to out going smtp server needs attention???? Contacted gmail...they state it is not their issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Is he getting your SMS messages (green) or your iMessages (blue). If SMS message, go to Settings>Messages and turn off Text Forwarding. If blue, are you sharing an Apple ID? You should each have your own.

I updated my phone the other day to 4.3.4 and now I can't send photo messages? Or is there a new way to send photos?

Like the title states, I use to be able to go to a text message and click the little camera image to the left of the text box and select or take a photo, now that option is gone. I tried going to my photo library and click on the options button to send as mms but I only have a print option, email, assign as contact ID or use as wallpaper.... No mms option.
Where and how do I send photos in a text message again. Seems like we're back to square one again.

I still haven't gotten this issue resolved. I have the last generation 3GS if that helps. I updated the phone about a week or ago and I can't send or receive media texts. I had this option before I downloaded the update and now I can't send or receive media. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

iPhotos has been replaced with a new app called Photos. If it completed migrating your iPhoto Library, all your images are now also in Photos Library(Events are now Albums in a folder named iPhoto Events.
iPhoto and iPhoto Library remain on your drive and work as before.

I just downloaded the latest version of FF and now I can't send messages via hotmail.

On April 6th, 2011 I downloaded the latest version of FF and shortly thereafter I found that I could not send mail from my hotmail account. I can receive, edit, read etc. I can do most everything EXCEPT send. I can, however, send mail from IE so it is definitely something within the new FF.

Yup I experienced the same problem. My workaround was to throw out the latest version and go back to iTunes 10.5. I'm on a Mac so the problem is on both PC and Mac platforms. Hard to believe that this software got released with such a serious problem.

I was searching itunes using my husband's account but didn't have his password - so instead of buying - I added all the songs using the wish list so I can buy them at a later date when he arrived home - I wanted to check the list and I discovered I can't find anywhere that says "wishlist".....

If it was your husband's account that was logged in when you added the songs then it will be linked to his account - if his account is still logged in then on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on the computer's iTunes there should be a Quicklinks section with a wish list link underneath it which should have them on it :
(There used to be a 'buy all' button on the wish list screen, but you now have to buy each item individually by clicking on their price.)

I loaded the new version of firefox and now yahoo will not open up the email it only shows login and goes back to main sign in each time.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

I Had this problem along with the error message that it's missing the driver GNSDK_DSP.DLL. I am Windows XP and fixed the error by going to Start>My Computer>Add or Remove Programs
When the Add or Remove programs list is "populated", Find iTunes on it. Click the link that says "For more information" and the iTunes box will expand. You will see a button that says "Repair" and it says to reinstall the program if it is not working correctly, use the "Repair" button. I clicked the Repair button and it automatically started the reinstall. When all the progress bars disappear (it doesn't really give you any other indication that its done) click the "close" button and try to open iTunes again. It worked first time for me. I also saw another forum where someone said it worked for the other Windows versions by following the same route, just that in other windows versions it might be "Computer" instead of "My Computer" and the Add or Remove Programs function is also called something else. Hope this helps somebody having this problem. It drove me crazy finding the answer, but the fix was super simple once I found out what to do.

Well, maybe you mean update iOS 6.0.1. What user troubleshooting have you done. They are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Are you trying to send via iMessage, or MMS?

Do you currently have a credit card set up in your iTunes store Enter Payment Information screen?
If so, grab a recent statement for that card and check to make sure that the address that shows up in your Enter Payment Information screenexactly matches the address showing on your credit card statement. For example, if your address in the credit card statement says "Street", the iTunes screen has to also say "Street" (Not St or Str.) Also match the capitalisation of the address on your statement. (If it says STREET in the statement make it say STREET in the iTunes screen, not Street or street.)
Also make sure that your name in the iTunes screen exactly matches the one in your statement. (Say, if you've got a middle initial in the credit card statement name, you need one in the iTunes screen.)
After doing that, does that get you past the invalid address thing?

I just loaded the latest version of itunes and now I cannot sync my notes from Outlook 2010 to my iphone. Notes no longer appears under the advanced section of the info tab. Since I have not had luck syncing in the cloud I always check the boxes and tell the sync to sync from my computer to my phone. Does anyone know how to get this to work.

When you connect your ipod up to the computer. It should show the device, usually with the name of the device, in my case 'jordan's ipod'. This should be on the row which shows 'songs', 'albums' e.t.c on the far right. There when you click on it it should go to a different screen showing a picture of your ipod along with two buttons - Update and Restore. Click update and it should take a 2 mins while your ipod is updated to the latest version of Ios.
After updating te ipod see if there is a change in results.
PS: make sure the device is active while syncing so keep tapping the screen.
