i update my xilisoft video converter ultimate 6 & iPhoto 3 time
every time i restart the mac it's ask me to do it again and again

I would recommend contacting Wondershare Video Convertor Ultimate 2's online Technical Support to help you remove it.  Their website's FAQ's are not much help with that.

I saw the advertising for Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate and it seems to boast a lot of features, including being very user friendly. My Mac has Mountain Lion installed and I have IMovie and IDVD on it.  I think those applications, as nice as they are, are simply very complicated and oversaturated with features that you need a college degree and endless hours to learn about it.
If I download Wondershare how will it compare to IMovie and IDVD?  Will I gain or lose in doing so?  Or is what I have sufficient?  And will there be compatibility problems in using it?

I agree with you feeling about iMovie (I'm still using iMovie 6 HD) but I think iDVD is very easy to use, many good themes to pick from and an all around excellent video DVD authoring application.
What do you have trouble with in using it?

  • Xilisoft Video Converter Ultim

    Hi,
I have a CL Zen Vision: M 30GB with the latest EU firmware and am using v5.0.60 build 0625 to convert some videos that the Creative Media Toolbox Video Converter will not handle and am wondering if anyone has some tips on the best settings to use.
I am trying to replicate the 3 standard Media Toolbox profiles (Optimum (44Kbps), Good (764Kbps), Best (835Kbps)), but am not bothered whether I encode as AVI (with MP3 sound) or WMV (with WMA sound). However, most of the variations I have tried will not transfer to the Zen.
Other settings I am using by default are:
    Video Size: 320x240
    Frame Rate: Auto
    Aspect Ratio: Auto
    Same Quality: False
    Zoom: Letterbox
I am extremely computer literate (I work as a SysAdmin), but cannot get my head round CODECs! It never ceases to amaze me that I can have two seemingly identical files encoded with DivX / Xvid and each will give completely different results when attempting to play / convert them.
As further information, I have Windows XP SP3, fully updated and have cleaned my machine as far as I can from any CODEC packs, which were just causing me problems (I have tried the Combined Community CODEC pack, NIMO, XP CODEC pack and K-Lite, as well as the DivX and Xvid installations) so I currently have a (hopefully) clean machine from that point of view.
The only other thing is that I use WMP (I know, I know...) to play files on my PC.
Anyway, any help / advice would be gratefully received!
    Cheers,
    Charles

  • Video Converter Compatibilty Output Codec?

    Hi Gang
Yes unfortunately I'm still in 10.4 which eliminates the capability to download any type of MTS converter software which I'll need to convert PAL to NTSC.
'ClipWrap2' and others are all designed for 10.5 or 10.6
Work Around: I also use a Dell PC with Windows 7. I found a program called 'Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate' which during the trail period successfully converted a piece, (watermarked), into a QT file. I then brought it over to my G5 and was able to open and play it in QT 7.6.4
Soon as I legally paid for and registered 'Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate', the newly converted files would cause QT and Streamclip in my G5 to Crash.
I tried converting to straight up QT as well as MPEG-4, same result ....
    QT Inspector Window shows:
    H.264
    1440X1080
    AAC Stereo 48kHz
    FPS: 50
    Data Rate: 8.84 mbits/s
    Ummmm?
    Any ideas?

    Solution:
Fortunately, 'Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate' also provides a setting for converting HD to SD 720X480, and a nice feature of converting to 24P, (which matches my current project).
When I exported using these settings, I was able to get QT 7.6.4 to play the files without issue, and edit in FC6.
    Thank you
    Mike

  • I need easy audio and video converting and editing software?

I need easy audio and video converting and editing software that wont cost $400.

I highly recommend you try Video Monkey. It's free, though donations are certainly accepted, and does an excellent job of converting .mov to .wmv. Choose Best (2 Pass) for Encoding Speed and depending upon the size of your original file, uncheck 320 pixels wide to create a larger converted image. I set Quality to "Go Nuts".
Another good commercial program is Video Converter Ultimate for Mac. It works as video converter and editor. The version for 2 Pass conversion is approximately $69. , which is considerably less than the $400+ that Adobe Premiere is asking for its editor. I'd still prefer a freebie though, but there's little choice...

Ive got youtube videos converted to mp3 files on my itunes, they used to play fine but since the recent update they do not play correctly. how can i fix this?

Try running these songs through MP3 Validator to see if there any issues.
If nothing else, convert them to another format such as AAC via iTunes using the instructions in this Apple support document.

  • Video converter

    Hello, every body..
I am proudly using _G4Ibook,OS 10.3.9 Panther,Ilife'5_ and I know that I cannot update software anymore..even security updates are no longer for me. So, here is what I would love to have your valuable opinion on:
I use vixy.net to download videos from youtube but lately I get a video without sound. I can read "restriction mode" flashing on the top of vixy's window.
It is not clear to me what its going on..bugs, I think! and more sophisticated software update on their part that requires 10.4.
Every other converter that found again, not for my OS. So,I realize that is time to buy a video converter software since a new computer is out of the question at this time but I would like to have your advice on that purchase. I am looking for compatibility..if any at this point. I only need it to convert to mov in order to include these videos in my I movie(5.0.2) projects.
    Thank you, guys!

Not wanting to scare you, but all of Panther is no longer being supported by Security Updates (I believe) and now potentially has holes.
Just about any program has bugs, it just depends upon whether or not they have been found. Old ones get exchanged for new ones as new features are introduced. I have used programs with known bugs, but I also looked at what they were (for the most part) and figured I would just avoid doing the buggy actions and happily continued to use the software for may years.

  • Video Converter Freezing on Zen Visio

Hi all,?Everytime?I try to do video conversion using the video converter that came with the Zen Vision:M software it will completely lock up my machine. I called tech support and they suggested Uninstalling and reinstalling the creative software in a clean boot, which I did. The problem still happened, then they told me "Sorry, we can't help you anymore...check the website for updates" I'm converting various types of AVI files. Some from digital cameras, the internet, and newly encoded files but they all freeze. I know I could just copy them to the player, but the point of the video converter is to reduce the size when it's on the player so I'm not wasting space. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi,
It seems that most video subscription services do not work with the Zen Vision: M or W but I have found that Amazon Unbox works with these players. You download the program from Amazon (Free)? then you purchase or rent the videos that you want to see and they will download to your computer then the downloaded program from Amazon will trnsfer them to your device. Hope this helps!

  • Best video to ipod video converter software

What is the best program I can buy for coverting my dvd's and other videos (including recorded tv shows on my dvr) to ipod video? Thanks.

Hopefully in answer to the many posts on “how to get various video formats onto your iPod” I have put together a summary of applications I use. I have tried a few others with varying amounts of success (some of which are free) - I have finally plumped for the software produced by Xilisoft as providing good quality video relatively affordable cost for use withPC’s and numerous MS operating systems. The link below takes you to their site which not only allows you to download trail versions of their software but also has a comprehensive set of tutorials and FAQ's for their iPod video conversion software.
I have regularly used these applications to convert various file formats to iPod friendly video. They are simple to use although frequently processor and RAM hungry:
Use Xilisoft iPod Video Converter if you want to:
[*]Convert various video file formats to MP4
[*]Convert most audio file formats to MP3
[*]Extract audio from video file and save to MP3
    [*]Encode several files simultaneously
[*]Pause encoding process to run other CPU time consuming programs at any time
    Supported file formats:
    Video:
    [*]MPEG(mpg, mpeg, dat, vob); WMV; ASF; AVI; QuichTime(mov, qt); MPEG4(mp4); 3GP; DV(dv,
    dif); Real Video(rm); Animated GIF(gif - decoding only); Macromedia Flash(swf - decoding
    audio only);
    Audio:
[*]MPEG Audio(mp2, mp3); WMA; WAV; AU; MPEG4 Audio(m4a); Real Audio(ra); OGG; AAC; Raw
    AC3(ac3); NUT Open Container Format(nut);
To convert DVD's to an iPod friendly video format:
Use Xilisoft DVD to iPod V4:
[*]Just pop the DVD in your drive select compression variables (default settings work well) and sit back!
All these products are available on a "try before you buy basis", yes there are applications for XP which are free but and may work just as well but I have converted many hours of video for my iPod without hassle using the Xilisoft products (no I don't work for them!). Check there web site HERE

  • Used to convert all my videos into iPhone mp4 format using Any Video Converter - then add it to my iPhone 3GS. But last few days, I cant add video files to iTunes. and the iTunes doesnt even specify the reason except for that "files are not supported"

Everyting was perfect earlier. Used to convert all my videos into iPhone mp4 format using Any Video Converter - then add it to my iPhone 3GS. But last few days, I cant add video files to iTunes. and the iTunes doesnt even specify the reason except for that "files are not supported"
    Everything is fine.
    -They are the right format
    -Quicktime is updated
-I have tried simply dragging them into the 'movie' library
-I have tried going to file<add file to library
Nothing works, has anyone else had this problem and found a way around it?
    Any and all help appreciated.

In addition to Mike's suggestions,  you only have 4GB of RAM and Mavericks does use more RAM than other versions. You may also want to look at the apps that startup on login and the possiblity of upgrading RAM.

  • Which application is the best for video converter?

Which MacBook Pro application is the best for video converter?

Docs to go is a bit more polished i think. It has been around awhile on other platforms and the sync is very well done. It works more as an extension of your desktop. You select the files you want to sync. They can stay where they are on your computer. If changes are made to either they update when you sync.
Quick Office allows you to move documents to and from your iphone and Any computer on any network as well as your iDisk if you have MobileMe. It has a server built in. You just enter the web address into any browser and you can see the folders on the iphone. It will work with Word and Excel fine. It is tricky editing a spreadsheet on such a small screen but it can be done.
Docs to Go has a little bit better editor.
I guess it depends on whether you want to be able to transfer files to a computer other than your own.
    Hope that helps

  • Video Converter + video compatabil

I have a Zen Vision : M 30Gb and I recently downloaded every possible firmware/application for my player. No problems with my firmware yet, but with an application.
My main problem is the video converter: I downloaded via Zencast (the newest) a few files with the
    .M4v extension and also a .MP4 file
Now, I had to convert them because obviously my Zen vision: M player can't play them
So I open up my newly updated video converter, try to convert these files and while I see the 0% proces thing, the converter just crashes. It didn't crash before (the old version), it just wasn't able to convert any file back then. Not a real improvement but I can use any help =]
Now, I think .avi files normally work or do you need to convert them too?
Because I have an avi movie on it and it works perfectly but now it says they're not compatible with my player.
Thanks if you took the trouble to read this and thanks even more if you try to solve it.

    bump for help

  • Video converter won't conv

The video converter I got with my Zen V Plus will not convert the .avi file I want to convert. I have tried converting it into .divx and then converting it and also using another converting technique but none seem to work. Any help out there?

I finally found the ultimate converter! If you first convert your .avi file (haven't checked with others yet)with the program DivX. convert it to a HD 080p (you will understand when u start using it) and then convert it with the creative converter! IT REALLY WORKED FOR ME! I have been frustrated over it not working for almost a year, but now it DOES work

I've tried every converter that i could try and i cant get a good quality video that i wanted,
I tried this following softwares and the output i've got.
