I updated and now my serial number's no good. HELP!
I just ran Software Update and now my Pro Apps won't open without filling in the registration info. But it tells me my serial number is no good. How do I get them to work again?
It is quite possble that the "Final Cut Studio System ID" file has been corrupted, in which case you simply go to: Library/Application Support/Pro Apps and delete it. When you start one of the applications, enter the serial number again and you should be good.

If you purchased an upgrade from LR5 to LR6 then after you enter your LR6 serial number, you will need to enter your LR5 serial number, unless LR6 finds LR5 on the computer. This also assumes that you've purchased the perpetual license of both LR5 and LR6, not a cloud license for LR5 which doesn't use a serial number for licensing. If entering a LR6 then LR5 serial number into LR6's serial-number area isn't working, then is there something special about the LR5 that would make it ineligible for an upgrade?

When you install the special version of PPro2 on a Win7 or Win8 computer, you MAY need to right click the program icon and select WinXP compatibility from the option popup -
My mac is the OS X 10.8.3. I tried to update the latest Adobe flash player and kept getting 'Actionlist not found.' I have uninstalled, enabled and disabled plug-ins and am still unable to download the update and now have no flashplayer at all. Help!
PS I'm still new to Macs so the more broken down the better.Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.42 is the most recent version from Adobe. It is a pre-release version. I am using it without any noticeable problems.

Apple disable distributed pirate serial numbers with each new version.
If you have a legitimate serial number that isn't being recognised, contact Apple Support.
If you have a pirated serial number, then buy your copy of Logic and you won't have this problem. -
After downloading iOS 8, I lost all my pics. Last i checked, all of them were in photo stream. I cleared my camera roll to install the update but now all the pics are gone. My phone says there is about 700+ photos but only 300+ are displayed.
You might have to restore the pictures from your ""backup" you have on iCloud. But, then again, that would put your iPhone back to the last state it was in when doing that backup. But at least you would have all your pictures back.
iin any case, I wouldn't do any further backups or any changes to your iCloud account, until you've got your pictures back again. Proceed cautiously and carefully at this point, until you get an answer that will safely restore the pictures. -
My new iMac has OS X Yosemite 10.10 installed could it be a compatibility issue?
Compatibility with OS X which Adobe software or service is your inquiry in reference too? Also did you migrate/transfer/copy any Adobe Creative applications to the new iMac?

I just updated my 3gs to the latest iOS 5 update and now I am unable to text certain numbers. I keep getting the error code 1121611611 invalid number, even though the number I have in my contacts is a 10 digit number. Any suggestions on fixing this?

I started using LT 4 and I have a serial number, also upgraded to LT 5 and have a serial number. Now I just bought a new Macbook Pro and installed the LT 5, but it doesn't accept my serial number. Why?
When you installed the Lightroom 5 on your MacBook, did it ask for both serial numbers. Since you purchased Lightroom 5 as an upgrade, you need both the serial number from your original purchase as well as the new serial number for Lightroom 5. If you have both of those numbers and they are still not being accepted then you will have to contact Adobe customer support for a solution.

If your Logic 9 was an upgrade from Logic 8 it may be asking you for your original Logic 8 Full serial first and then your Logic 9 Upgrade serial...
Otherwise, it's best to call Apple directly and get them to help you... -

I have aperture 3.2.4 on my laptop and have the serial number, but just bought a new MAC and I can't get the Ver 3.0 link to work. Anyone know how to move it from my laptop to our new mac?

That link is no longer available. Use "Migration Assistant" to copy your Applications from your old mac to the new Mac, then immediately run software update. Aperture Version 3.2 will not run on your new mac with Mavericks, you will have to Upgrade to version 3.4.5 at least - you can download this update from the Support page: Aperture 3.4.5
Then launch Aperture and enter your registration key and try now too update from version 3.4.5 to 3.5 from the AppStore. The AppStore will change your Aperture registration to an AppStore version, so you will able to reinstall by downloading from the AppSTore in future.
If you want transfer only Aperture and no other applications, do it manually: You will have to copy not only the application but folders from the libraries as well:
/Applications/Aperture.app
/Library/Application Support/Aperture/
~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.
