I updated I tunes and my iPhone as well, I lost my ring tones, how can a have them back?
I updated my iPhone in a computer at home. But I have my phone synchronized with a computer at the office wich I can't download the last version of iTunes. The thing is that the computer back at the office does not recognize anymore the iPhone coz it has an older version and politics at work don't allowed to download anything, so iTunes store is now blocked. I know I can download the apps and the music with the clod but what can I do about the ring tones? I can't grab them anymore from the computer at work and I dont have them at home? Please help... My computer at the office will be erased and replaced in any moment and I don't want to lose anything. Thank you,

First thing I think would be to do a search for the folder in case it's somehow got moved.
Failing that, you can retrieve the folder from your original installer disc using Pacifist.
Insert the disc (don't boot from it) and open the installer package with Pacifist. Navigate to the Desktop Pictures folder (might be a bit more fiddly to find in the package structure). When you find it, select the folder, right-click (or ctrl-click) and select 'install in default location' from the context menu.
Exit Pacifist and eject the disc.

If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it. -

I'm not sure what blog platform you use, but I've noticed that WordPress auto-saves for me at regular intervals. If yours doesn't do that, you should definitely see about getting it set up. -

It does not magically appear in a new place. It will only be where you put it.
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one. -
i mistakenly dropped my iphone 4 in the bath, send it for repairing @ an apple reseller in my contry. now im trying to sunc my old iphone but find out that my photos are not backed up. how can i get the photos back. they mean the world to me alot of memories and photos of me and my father who passed away less than a year ago. what shall i do? can the techs @ the store back it up before repairing?

Me too, also upgraded to IOS 5 last night and all the apps, photos, books have disappeared from the iPod Touch. I can see them in iTunes, but can't figure out how to put them back into/onto the iPod.
I tried the right-click and choosing "restore from back-up" without success, as it had just backed up from the updated iPod without all the stuff on it.
I could use a really simple explanation: how to put the stuff that I can see in iTunes on my Mac, back onto the iPod touch??
And yes, it would be nice if Apple just posted a clear, simple explanation of how to do this . . . I haven't found that yet . . .

You can't get back your RSS feeds. OS X Mountain Lion removed RSS compatibility from Safari and Mail, so you can't use RSS with these applications.
