I updated my ipad today and lost all pictures. Can they be restored?
You can restore from iTune or iCloud backup if you have one.

Did you backup the iPad first? If you did - restore from the backup in order to restore the photos in the Saved Album on your iPad. If the photos were synced to the iPad, then sync them back again via iTunes.

If you did backup first, you will be restoring your most recent backup and you should be OK. But know that when you restore from a backup, you restore everything that is in that backup onto the iPad .... All documents, device settings, all data and so on. You cannot just select photos to restore to the iPad. It's all or nothing. -

You can only import photos from the camera roll into the computer. Is that the album that you are seeing?
Any albums that you create on the device itself (the iPad that is) cannot be transferred to your computer. iPad created albums do not contain copies of your photos but merely pointers to those photos so they do not actually exist in those albums. -
I've done an update on 7/25/11 as requested by Itunes. Since I've done the update I've lost all my music, videos and icons. I also can't connect to any PC via the USB port. What can I do to restore my 2nd Generation Ipod Touch back to factory?
I also have a 2nd generation iPod and when the new version was being advertised on the home page, I clicked on it. And I saw that the update was compatible with iPod touch 3rd and 4th generation, iPad 1 and 2, and all the iPhones. But it wasn't compatible with iPod touch 2nd generation. So you downloaded an update which wasn't compatible with your iPod. I'm sorry.

When I updated itunes I lost all of my music, I was able to retrieve it from a previous itunes library, but now some artists have all of their songs listed under one "unknown album." Is there a way to separate these songs back into the correct albums? Also, is there a way to make songs that have a featured guest just show up with the rest of the album instead of making a whole new spot for it? Thanks!

Copy it from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.

Syncing is not required to copy the pictures off the device to the computer. -
I can't synchronyze my contacts with my Iphone after the last update and I lost all my contact I can't find them I suppose they are stocked in my ICloud but I am not sure what I should do ????

The first thing I'd do is check to be sure iTunes still has the music in it, assuming you bought the music through iTunes. If not, are you sure that the account you bought the music under on the iPad is the same account iTunes connects to the iTunes store with?

Hi there,
You're running an old version of Safari. Before troubleshooting, try updating it to the latest version: 6.0. You can do this by clicking the Apple logo in the top left, then clicking Software update.
You can also update to the latest version of OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion, from the Mac App Store for $19.99, which will automatically install Safari 6 as well, but this isn't essential, only reccomended.

That's how it is supposed to work.
Older photos will need to be transferred manually using a sync cable.

Bloggie lost all pictures and video taken before new year.
Somehow, the bloggie lost all pictures and video I have taken before Jan 1, 2011. I know I did not delete any of pictures on this camera, but the crossover of the Jan 1, 2011 seems remove all old pictures. Why? It must be a software bug or something.
I bought my bloggie from HBC Canada, The Bay, in December, 2010.
My Bloggie has 8GB memory.
Any idea? Do you have the same problem with your Sony Bloggie?Check to see if you have the full space available on the bloggie - if they really are completely missing then there are many 3rd party file recovery programs out there, some free, that can be used to recover accidentally deleted or corrupted files. In this circumstance you also have to be very careful - to increase the likelihood of being able to recover the photos and video after they have been deleted don't save any new photos, files or data to your bloggie until you've made the recovery attempt.

I turn it off the Edit-Prefences to "Never", but everytime I get out of Acrobat and go back in it's back to "Only for PDF/A documents". How can I set "Never" to default??? Changed iPDFApolicy to 0, but keeps changing back. Thanks, Rod
