I updated iTunes on my computer and now I can't figure out how to put songs on my iPod
Before I could just hit the "On this ipod" or whatever it was button, and do the whole drag and drop thing and it was all good. But now that button is gone and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. help?!
IUf iTunes sees the iPod:

If iTunes does not see the iPod:

- I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

looking for idiot proof directions on how to restore my pictures and music to my iMAC. It was services and the hard drive cleared of my files. I've reinstalled office 2011 and am now trying to ficture out how to get the pictures and music back. I backed up the machine prior to the service call, but don't seem to know how to restore the pictures and music.
It all depends on how you made the backup and with what application. How was the backup created?

My ipod touch won't download anything ill tap download then it'll leave the app then ask for my password after i type my password it says "enter your [?] and password then tap security info and answer the Qs" then ill tap okay and it'll say the same thing
Try resetting your passwords and/or security questions.

Go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, then go through the setup screens on your phone again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup.

I have my card from my camera in my printer and it is blinking, the untitled box comes up on the desktop then Iphoto pops up and nothing happens at all use to do it on its own. How do I force this to load the pictures

The untilted thing is when i put the camera card into the printer slot a box on the right hand side comes up on the desk top it is a picture of a white box with a open slot in the front and it states Untitiled. If I take the card out this box goes away
I am trying to download pictures. Use to be I put the card into the printer, iphoto would open and then you could choose which new picutres you wanted to import. Now iphoto opens up and does not show any new pictures, there is no import at the bottom right and it just sits there. I would like to load pictures that I have taken all summer. I want Steve Jobs Back!!! I'm seriously thinking of converting back to the older iTunes.We have a saying in my country,it goes,"If it's not broke,don't fix it!" Sometimes I think they do updates just to keep busy at their jobs or just to **** us off.I don't have time to learn new software everytime someone at apple gets a bright idea.At least they should think it through and test it well before giving it to us.Apple is not a small company,how come we got to work out all their bugs and problems? I probably misclicked when I activated the security lock on the iPhone and now I can not figure out what password I entered. Moreover, I have patches and funky looking phone so I can not restore iphine pres itunes. Please advice.
Your only recourse is to force it into DFU mode:
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings. -

Still Here is what it takes you to get what you want .
Firstly , your iPhone by default comes with preset of 16-18 Apps in your Homescreen (including Dock)
Make sure your apps are installed either directly from the app store in your phone or through iTunes in your Mac or PC
once they are installed you can notice them by swiping the homescreens.
Long press the app icon , you can notice they all would be in "jiggle" mode
Drag them and place them in your home screen -

I can't figure out how to add songs from my itunes library to my iphone. I used to just drag the songs from the library to my phone, but now that won't work. It's probably something really simple that I'm missing, but it's frustrating me. Can anyone help? My phone is the iphone 4 if that matters.

Restart while holding the trackpad or mouse button down.
If that does not work, find Terminal in your Utilities folder and launch it.
