I updated my account and now emails with photo attachments are being blocked

On Sunday I received something from y'all asking me to update and I did.
Now when I go to, say, Google, there is a little green icon besidethe word saying that y'all have checked it and it is safe.
More critical. my friend has tried to send photos to me every day since Sunday and they keep getting kicked back. Her inbox has been bombarded with messages that says I didn't ask for anything from her and that I am not accepting her email

Please restart the computer and try again.

Try settings -- messages -- send & recieve and see if your email and phone number are in there and if there is only a check mark next to your email address. If so just check off your phone number and try that.

Did you restore from backup on iTunes or did you use iCloud?
Did you sync with iTunes? Is iTunes section for photos checked to sync all your photo locations?
Also, with photo streaming sometimes you need to switch from Album to photo stream to see some photos.
If your photos are on your computer still, they can be added back. if not and you depended solely on iCloud, then they may be gone.

I updated Flash Player, and now it says the plug-in is blocked...

I am on an iMac (OS X, version 10.6.8), running Safari (5.1.10).
Flash was running fine.
I got a notice on Facebook that I needed to update my Flash Player.
Silly me, DID!
And now, it says the 'plug-in is blocked' and I need to update.
So I updated again. Still blocked.
I did a re-start after the update, thinking that might help. Nope.

I updated my itouch and now all of my apps are gone

I have updated my itouch to version 4.2 and now all of my apps are gone. I have sync'ed the ipod to my pc, but my apps didn't show back up on my itouch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is possible that you accidently pressed 'restore' and not 'update' in which case the iPod Touch was restored to original software and the apps were not synced back on as you probably did not restore from backup (if you had a backup). Make sure that iTunes thinks it should sync apps as trrlightning suggested, and check to see if you are able to download apps onto the device wirelessly using the App Store App.

Error "There was a problem updating your account" and now I can't use editor.

I've owned my adobe for 4 days now and yesterday I tried opening/editing a photo and it froze up and now will not allow me to do anything because of the error "there was a problem updating your account". After 4 phone calls of waiting a total of 74 minutes now, I'm a little disappointed at my new purchase & just need help. Anyone???

It's a rare day when Windows comes up with an actual solution to an error.
So, the editor is still shutting down but the message is now a general "an error has occurred and Photoshop Elements needs to shut down" message?
See if a reset of your application preference file fixes it.

Also it's good to look at what the splash screen is saying as it crashes. Usually, it's a good clue.

Did An Update Just Occur And Now Email Doesn't Work

ok i once again am having troubles connecting to my email with the same settings that were working just fine with the Z10. i usually wait until it decides to fix itself but hours later its still jacked up. i then noticed that the blank home screen that used to be present when there weren't even any running apps is only present when there are running apps.
well good thing that was taken care of.
now ever since whatever update occurred, my email is not working at all.
z10 just keeps saying unable to contact server blah at blah blah port.
i know good and well that that my mail server is functional as i can access it via other devices just fine.
ok so how do i fix my email?

i was on the phone for about and hour and a half with both ATT and Blackberry.
it was not until i got transferred Level II Blackberry Support is when it got resolved. come to find out that i needed to let the email settings configure automatically instead of typing in any settings myself.
z10 and the server figure out what your settings need to be. i was just used to typing them in myself from previous Blackberry experience. but they told me a lot has changed with o/s 10 and to forget everything i was used to.
also, there is an email issue(s) that they are well aware of and a fix is coming out shortly but he couldn't give me an exact date.

Emails that I send are being blocked

HI there,
I just started having an issue when I send emails... I receive a 'System Adminstrator' message which tells me that they are regarded as SPAM!
This has happened with the last three emails that I have sent. Each one was directed to three of my friends. REading the Verizon 'Help' section it advised forwarding the messages to '[email protected]' and then the 'third party organisation' would determine if the emssage was SPAM or not.. and if not wouldallow it to be transmitted. However tere was a note that the sender would not be notified.
Has anyone ele had this? How do I know whether the messages have beens sent / received or not?
All of my messages were ordinary emails each sent to one address.... so how would they have (wrongly) determined that they were spam?

You are probably totally accurate when you say "they have (wrongly) determined that they were spam".
I am a new customer. I created a new subaccount and I got the above message when I tried to send a test message to myself (a different account). There was nothing in the body of the message and just "t" for the subject. I know there was no reason to consider the message to be spam. I also checked another message that I had succeeded in sending using a different account (I think it was sent to the Verizon account istead of from it) and it had nothing hidden in the message it was not supposed to, so I was confident that the message I was sending was not compromised. I use plain-text format by default, which makes it essentially impossible for messages to be sent infected. Even if it were infected, that would not be the same thing as spam.
I also sent a message using the online email system, since it was a new account.
This was Thursday (the 12th) night. I called customer support and they insisted it could not possibly be a problem with Verizon. They asked me if I was able to send a message using the online system and I said I was able to. They said that the online system uses the same software as is used when I send email using my email program (I am trying to avoid beint technical). They insisted it cannot possibly be a Verizon problem. I said I will probably wait until the next day and they just had to insist that the problem will still exist. I said I might be wrong but if they are wrong will they admit and they just insisted I was wrong. I told them that the online system uses the HTTP protocol and my email program (Windows Mail aka Outlook Express) uses SMTP, so the software is not entirely the same, but they insisted that they were correct. They insisted Ihad to do something such as contact my Antivirus software vendor or something such as that.
Within two hours, I was able to send and receive email and I did nothing to fix it. I can't be sure (I am willing to admit if I am wrong) but it seems essentially certain that it was a temporary problem with Verizon.
I hope there is a way for Verizon to determine that it wa their problem and tell the customer support agent that they were wrong. I talked with a supervisor person that said everythning I sad above that he said.

Email images via Comcast are being blocked yet under "Contents" all images are allowed. How to correct?

Email images via Comcast are not being loaded. Comcast says its not them, that its Firefox. Under Tools Contents All Images Loading is checked. What Firefox setting(s) do I need to do to get my email images to load. They used to until a couple of weeks ago.

All I had to do was update my clock time and it fixed the issue. My clock was showing December 6, 2014 as the date. Sorry. You can consider this resolved, Thank you!

Downloaded updated Adobe Reader and now can't open attachments

My MLS system program CoreLogic's Fusion just did updates and the updated version of Adobe Reader is the only one which will allow attachements to be read. Well, I upgraded my version of Adobe Reader to the right one and it worked for a few minutes but now it doesn't work. I can't read any attachments. This is not just my problem. Others have experienced the same thing. What can I do to fix this? It is really a big problem for me in my line of work.

What is your operating system? Reader version? Email client? If you use web-based email, in what browser.
Finally, what exactly means "can't"?

You would create a rule that runs an applescript to do the rest of what you want. Since you don't want to use an applescript, I can't help.
You might want to search around for a third-party plugin that might do what you want.

I updated my iTunes and now my IPhone 3G isn't being detected.

I first thought it was a problem with the USB port but ive tried them all with memory stick and everythings in working order. Ive used a different lead to connect the iPhone to my laptop still no look. I've tried with my iPod and that doesnt work either. I looked on line to uninstall then re install iTunes and its still not working. Please if someone can help that would be great.

Well, certainly if you had 3 years of photos you have been importing them off the phone to your computer as recommended. Just synch them back.
