I updated to 5.0, added webmail adblocker and adblocker, and it would not work at all. I uninstalled, and reinstalled without the addons and it still did not work. Troubleshooting said to remove from firewall settings and re-add, which I did, but Norton Security Suite will only do "allow" and not "Auto". I can now access a page to a website, but can't log in (ie: yahoo mail, facebook, etc.)
I have clicked on the connect button, but it brings up the same There is a problem connecting, and I have also tried SMB://
i tried pinging the ip address with in termial and it times out.

When i try to download an update from the appstore the dropdown menju automatically inserts my apple id (which is wrong). It's in gray and will not allow me to type in the correct id. How do i stop the auto insert so that i can enter the correct id?
the original apple id was entered incorrectly. Apple says it must be a email address. My email address is correct but the letter ( t ) somehow got added to the (.com) so that when i try to enter my id it is automaticly loaded with the email address the ends ( .comt ) . According to Apple this is not a "legal" email id. But it appears on my dropdown in gray and i cannot alter it or delete it, thus preventing me from downloading software updates.

I cannot open iCal because of a problem. Can anybody help me? The computer will not allow it to open and sends a message to apple each time. The icon has gone from the dock, but ical works on my iPad and I am afraid to sync it with my computer in case it wipes everything .
I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.

I am trying to use the "App Store" on my Macbook Pro but it will not allow me to open the program. It automatically says, "App Store has closed unexpectedly." Whenever I tell it to reopen, the exact same messege pops up. My computer has all of the latest updates from Apple.
I tried deleting the program then running the software update to try to get the program again but it did not work. Where can I manual download the actual app store program, or fix the one that I have.

I stream video/audio from my iPhone to AppleTV (like YouTube) and it works fine. I want to use headphones on the iPhone so I can stream the video to AppleTV and listen on the headphones, but Airplay will not allow me to select both AppleTV and headphones, I can only select one. Sounds like we have a similar problem. Four days ago I was playing music through a wireless Bose speaker via bluetooth and everything was fine. Then I was texting while listening and got 2 texts about the same time as I was typing one and my phone went black. I pushed the home button and it worked, went into my texts and all were there. However ever since then the time isn't right, so it can't keep time no matter what I do. The bluetooth works only at times, the wifi keeps jumping on and off, sometimes my data won't work and the other day I couldn't even turn it off, so had to wait until it died. The battery life display at that moment wasn't correct either. Took to Verizon, they couldn't help. Suggested a factory reset, which I did last night and still the same issues! One day I couldn't even text my husband on his iPhone. Just wouldn't work at all. Did everything suggest and still not good. Seems like after stalking these pages today a lot of people are having this problem in Dec/Jan and of course also I'm 3 weeks out of my 1 year warranty and so were many others, by days. Very strange, and all on the 5C. What did you do? Is it working now?

I can download a song to my IPhone. I can play on my iMac but it will not download to IPhone. It is also in my ICloud but it still will not

Not sure why you are in the itunes forum.
Your issue is with your MP3 player. Go to their support page.
Itunes syncs with Apple devices. It has little or nothing to do with other players.
Does your MP3 player support the file type of the song that your downloaded? -
I need to make a pdf document, already made in photoshop, 'page turn' and then add it to my website as an e-brochure. I know I can do this in indesign but indesign will not open pdf files for some inexplicable reason. Any ideas how I can do it without completely starting again?

please try this (all terms are translated from my German programs to my best knowledge):
1. Did the creator of the pdf file enable the import options?
2. See import options: choose an other visibility option for your layer.
3. Let you show the import options and click into one with a black background and try these out (often a gray is selected).
4. See trimming: try the different modes there. Often works: "Media".
5. Is the pdf file (eg from Word) correctly created?
6. Is the PDF file protected? >>> no import possible.
7. If that does not help, store the pdf file in Acrobat, repair possible errors, run the PDF Optimizer before placing in InDesign.

Am signed in to Adobe and trying to edit a form. Can pull up form but it will not allow me to edit the form. What am I doing wrong?
To elaborate on what Sukrit posted, it is likely that the form is not an Acrobat forum but a Designer form or was set for distribution and is locked for editing. I suspect it was probably created in Designer and thus can only be completed in Acrobat or Reader since the PDF is really container for and XML structure and does not have the basics of a PDF document. If that is the case, you either need Designer or you can print to a new PDF and use the field recognition feature of Acrobat to recreate the form. Of course, the latter will require some editing to the form fields in most cases.

Because the retina 15 only has a wifi connection (no ethernet), that's the connection I'm stuck with for the notebook. But on the 27iMac, I did have both ethernet and wifi enabled. When I turned the wifi off on the 27, therer was a brief moment when both computers were showing their counterparts when I tried to make a network connection. BUT, after a few seconds of 'searching', the computer I was trying to connect to disappeared from the Network list.
So I tried the opposite; the retina can only connect thru wifi, so that's a given. I swithched my ethernet off and then enabed the wifi on the 27 and ....same thing: When I try a network connection, there are a few seconds of 'searching', then the ony option I'm left with is share screen, which doesn't work either.
I've read the 'dropped' network is a problem with the retina, but the odd thing is that I never lose my internet connection—that continues to work fine, as does Air Drop—but I can't seem to connect, network-wise.
Any ideas about the dropped network? -
I successfully downloaded Lightroom CC. everything looks good, but it will not open. The circle spins about 2 times and then it just stops and I get nothing. I uninstalled and restarted my computer. I downloaded again. Same problem
