I updated my email for itunes and now the sign in to icloud window opens up and i can not use my device
I updated my email to my Itunes account. Now when i try to use my iphone and ipad a window pops up and says sign in to icloud but it has the old email address on it. Even after I hit cancel it immediately comes back and does not let me use my devices. How do i get this to stop?

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Either a PC or Mac work the same.

I tried updating my iPod touch 4th gen and now the screen is bright blue or flashing white and black lines.ive tried the whole home and power button thing but it only brings up the apple icons then goes back to the blue or other screen.please help?

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have unlocked my iPhone 3G with Vodafone via iTunes, but now the downloaded apps crash immediately when opened. I've tried a Restore, but this didn't help. I've also tried removing all apps and re-installing them, but they still don't work. Any ideas? Thanks.
yep, unfortunately can't reset without the passcode either.
With regards to doing a restore, do you mean:
open itunes on my computer
click on my device on the left
go to the device summary
click restore
it then asks if i want to back up before i restore (to which i say no)
then it asks me if i'm sure I want to restore to factory settings and that all of me media and data will be erased and replaced with the newest version ( to which I say yes)
then it takes about 90 mins to do this but when I look at my phone, everything is exactly the same.
Am I missing something? Obviously I'm technologically challenged, but I HAVE to get to the bottom of this! -

After updating to ios 6 my phone had to be restored. Now it will not acitvate. I am receiving the message that ther server is unavailable. However, I can not use my phone at all until it is activated. why can I not activate?
Well, 99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, either get a sim card from the carrier your phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked. -
When i click on 'Show all in Finder' after searching for anything on spotlight, NOTHING happens! NO Finder window opens up and the spotlight dropdown menu just shuts! Please help!
I'm having the same problem in other places as well, for example when i downloaded Easyfind right now, clicking the small magnifying glass button on the right of the file name (shown below) would usually open up finder highlighting the file, but now nothing happens when i click on that button!
Is there a solution for this, as this was a very useful feature which i used ALL the time? -
Now that I upgraded to Maverick on my Mac air, I can not use the power button to shut down the computer anymore. I now have to go to the apple icon in the upper left corner. Any short cuts instead of going to the apple in the top left corner and hitting shut down. Doing that all the time, I feel like I am back at work using a "Windows" computer.
This a is tricky one, but you can still do it. Instead of pressing the power button, hold it down for a few seconds and then you'll see the shut down options dialog pop up.
I guess they were trying to prevent accidental touching of that button. They did something similar with the Eject button a few versions ago, where you have to hold down Eject instead of just tapping it so that you don't pop out a CD by mistake. -
I have spilt alcohol on my macbok pro and now the mouse does not respond but just clicks randomly. Is it possible to disable it?
Disable what; the clicking or the mouse or the MBP?
Seriously, I suggest you call your local Apple Store and make an appointment to have them check out exactly how much damage the wine did to your MBP. -

If you are having issues with your iPad continuing to ask for your iCloud password you may want to try a couple of things to troubleshoot.
First, I would try restarting the iPad -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

I Changed my email address for iTunes and now my old email address is my iCloud and I can't sign in.
If you are trying to change the iCloud ID ("email address") on your device, you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Hi. I just upgraded my iPad 2 to the new iOS 6, and now a website that I use all the time for school is crashing every time I open it to get to my classes and assignments. This is very frustrating since I use my iPad frequently during school. I've already tried rebooting my iPad and closing all applications, and clearing cookies in Safari, nothing has fixed this so far. I feel like it must be related to the update since this did not happen before yesterday when I updated. :( please help!
The problem is with facebook, go to settings / facebook / your user name and delete your account, the do a hard reset (home+power for some seconds).
dont need to delete the facebook app! just delete your integrate account from settings

I installed the update, and now the only icons I have is Home Sharing and Settings.
I've been seeing the Update Available message, but have ignored it. Decided to update today. When it finished, the only 2 icons available are Home Sharing and Settings. Everything else is GONE! I reset the box to factory settings.....and still exactly the same. Can someone guide me through how to get back to the Apple TV that I LOVE!
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I can access all my folders in hotmail when I log on from google but they don't show up and just the general mailbox. I don't want to have to logon to Google every time I want to check my Hotmail but I also need to be able to see all my subfolders that I created under the inbox. There are many time to do not wish to delete the message but at the same time I don't want to leave them in the inbox forever. I tried restarting my iPhone 4s which has the update seven-point whatever it is now and also went and try to create an exchange account where it did not let me do it. Any help or suggestions as welcome. If you could please send answer to my email at [email protected] I would really appreciate it and I probably will forget my password here to get back on again
Try deleting your hotmail account and then adding it back as an Outlook account instead of "other". It worked for me.

File icon update crashes finder
In Panther: I'll have a finder window open in icon mode and I resave a file in Photoshop and when the icon updates the finder window crashes. Anything I can do about it other than a work around?
