I updated my extreme and everything went okay but when i tried to update my express its reads an error occurred while downloading the firmware
i tried updating my airport utility app on my iphone and ipad when it updated it updated the airport extreme okay,but the airport express keeps showing a message that reads error occurred while downloading the firmware it shows it downloading and then reads preparing and then the error message comes up. can anyone explain o me how to fix this thankyou
Do you kow if I can I use the AirPort Extreem directly from the ethernet cable coming into the house?
Is that an Ethernet cable, or is that a phone cable? The AirPort Extreme does not have a modem on board, so you must use a separate modem with the Extreme.
Have you been to Becton, TX?
Been to Lubbock and Amarillo many times, but never to Becton.

okay so my cousin downloaded a bunch of songs to my ipod and i couldnt listen to them so i decided to sync my ipod, i thought everything went well but i guess i was wrong because i saved all my apps to my laptop and my music also. but now i cant get any of it back on my ipod it says i have to authorize my computer so when i go to itunes and attempt to authorize my laptop it doesnt give me that option ive tried everything someone please help thanks...
Open itunes, Click the word Store at the top of your computer screen
On a windows computer, if it does not show, then click Alt-S -
I purchased and downloaded some songs, everything went fine, but when I tried to play the song it only ran for 3 seconds even though it said the song was over 4 minutes????
Try download and install the latest iTunes 10.6.3 just reoleased yesterday and try out.

My App Store is no longer updating my apps or my OS. I keep getting this message: An error occurred while downloading the updates.(102) What could be the reason for this issue and what will resolve it?
I believe its an auth error. If you tried signing in and out of the app store and downloading a free app (typical fixes) and it persists, try downloading the updates manually. If youre trying to get the Mountain Lion updates the link for 10.8.1 is here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1571 and if you already have 10.8.1 and youre trying to update to 10.8.2 the link is here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1580 a supplemental update came for the 10.8.2 which can be found here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1600
Like I said before, the error isnt that your software or hard drive is corrupt, it has to do with your AppleID authenticating the download, especially because OS updates are part of the Mac App Store. If you know your way around your system libraries or root libraries you can possibly fix it by deleting specific files that may be corrupted, otherwise you're going to want to back up your data and reinstall the OS.

When i try to update...after a while it will give me a message saying that(( an error occurred while downloading the ios 6.1.2))
while the wifi is working normally, and i updated my ipod and it worked normally.

Be aware that this is a very large file to download, it needs a strong consistent internet connection.
Have the iPhone on the charger cable too.
In the meantime read the threads in this forum about the visibility item and some other possible issues on the 4 and 4S (although a large number of people have these issues, it is still a minor percentage, but anyhow, be aware). -
I keep getting this error code while trying to import a cd to my itunes: "Error occurred while converting the file. The disc you are attempting to use is full. removing files and emptying the recycle bin will free up additional space." What does this mean?
Well it probably means exactly what it says... How much free space is there on your hard drive where the iTunes Media folder resides? I believe there is also an obscure bug that can occur when software doesn't read the true value of the free space properly, and the workaround is, perversely, to duplicate some content so that with less actual free space the software in question perceives it as more. I've no idea if iTunes is affected by such a bug.

It wasn't the case before the upgrade to v 9.2 (Iphoto 11) yesterday.
The previous solution preferences - advanced - "select a store" (last option) doesn't solve it anymore.

Or you may have firewalls or Antivirus filters interfering, or other non-standard start-up items and preferences panes. If the error persists, boot into Safe Mode and try to update in this mode, see:
Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode
This will prevent non-standard start-up items, kernel extensions, etc from being loaded and interfering. -

I'm having trouble scanning with my Epson all in one. I downloaded the scanner driver and tried a couple of things through epson support. I can't seem to find the driver on my Mac anywhere. I tried to download it again but still can't locate it. My printer is an Epson Artisan 725. The driver for the printer looks to be a 720.

It's set in Settings/General/Restrictions. You will need the Restrictions passcode to access the setting. Presumably someone placed the restriction on your phone. You need to talk to whomever set the restriction if it wasn't you.
