I updated my i tunes but my computer restarted before it said it was safe to unplug
my computer asked me restart now or manually later for the new update and i said now but my iphone 3gs was plugged in and is now frozen
Unless the iPhone was purchased as unlocked very recently directly from an Apple Store (the only place in the US where unlocked iPhones are sold, and then only since June), which from the symptoms I doubt is the case, then it was locked to AT&T and jailbroken to make it work with an Irish cell carrier. Updating the operating system has now relocked the iPhone back to AT&T.
Only the cell carrier can institute an official unlock, one which will hold across updates of the operating system, and AT&T will not do so for any reason. All we can advise here is that you return the iPhone to your uncle and purchase an iPhone there in Ireland.

My hard drive crashed and I lost everything on my Mac desk top, including my Adobe Lightroom. I had my hard drive replaced but how do I download to my new hard drive? I have my previous serial number but when I entered that, it said it was invalid.

NEED URGENT HELP !!
I installed the updates for i photo as suggested by the software updates and then restarted as displayed on the screen for successful installation . But after the restart was done , the system again displayed a grey window that says to restart in different language. I'm worried and could not understand that why this is happening as i only update what mac recommended .Moreover , I'm new to mac book and therfor i'm finding few things difficult to understand. I plugged in my iPod and it needed an update. Before the update could complete it said there was an error and then closed the window. Now my iPod is stuck in the loading screen and won't register in iTunes. Please Help.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Updated my ipod touch, but it keeps restarting itself constantly
it did this ocasionally before the new update on big programs but now it does it about 5 seconds after it restarts itself, and continuously goes through this cycle unless i shut it down in time before it restarts itself again. any ideas how to fix this?
I have the same problem, where trying to sync my iPod will cause it to restart and I get nowhere with updating it. It's completely frusterating and I'd do anything to get it to stop, but won't restoring it delete everything? I'm not too worried about my songs because they're all saved in the cloud but I have a lot of pictures and I'm not really sure how to back them up, because whenever I try to plug in my iPod and use it through the windows explorer rather than iTunes and just manually move the photos to the hardrive, it restarts and I can't get anywhere...
I have a 4th gen, 8g iPod and windows vista if that helps. Thanks for any feedback, it would be awesome just to get a second opinion. -
This update stayed on a really long time just telling me it was connecting to the server. It said it was a security update. Today is 12/9/2010. It made me nervous staying on that long, so I turned it off, exited Firefox and tried again. Same thing happened.

I received an email saying to use the link to update Firefox, on doing this my McAfee security said it was a trojan and stopped the upload. I deleted the email but I have just received another on. Is ther an email address I can send it to so you can check it out.
Mozilla doesn't send email about updating Firefox from a link in the email. Someone is trying to induce you to install Malware or a virus on your PC under the guise of a Firefox update.

I am trying to update my itunes but it is saying i cannot access the itunes server because my computer is not connected to the internet. But it is?? I also cannot access the itunes store for the same reason? I can access it directly from my iphone but not from my PC.
