I updated my ios to 5.1, lost everything, was able to sync to iCloud but my ringtones havent gone onto my phone, they are ones i have made with an app and then saved to itunes. The ringtones show up in the "ringtones" tab but they arent syncing to my phon
how do i get them back =(
Try unchecking Sync Tones on the Tones tab of your iTunes Sync settings, sync your phone, then recheck Sync Tones and sync your phone again.

I just got my mac a month ago so go easy on me but I was just working with the pages that was already on it, and then today I know it updated, and now I am unable to open a lot of my documents!:( Idk what you mean by the icloud version lol sorry! As for the version, when I open pages from my apps and click 'about' it says version 5.1? And when I open the document it just goes grey and kind of blinks and doesnt open? No error message or any indication of why it will not open now when I for sure have opened it in the past! Andddd for the OS X I think it is 10.9.1 ??

You can re-download content purchased from the app store using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

I need more space on my iPhone to update to iOS 7.0.6. I was able to import and then delete my Camera Roll but not my Photo Library. How do I do that?
To delete your photo library you need to connect to iTunes, then remove the selection for the images, then sync the device.
While you are connected to iTunes do the update through iTunes. It takes much less memory as the update is loaded onto your computer, unpacked, then sent to the device. -
I have 2 apple id's with different apps and data saved under each. It's very annoying so now I want to create a new id with my primary email address I use now. If I do that is there any way to transfer all my saved apps and app data like game saves etc so I don't lose all of that information and can easily switch to a singular apple id?
Apple does not transfer content bought with one Apple ID to another Apple ID. Apple will not merge two Apple IDs.
If most of your content was bought with the Yahoo! Apple ID but you now want the Gmail address for your Apple ID, the trick will be to change the address used for the Yahoo ID with the Gmail address. However, to do that you must first free the Gmail address from that other Apple ID. Use the instructions from Apple to substitute another address that is not used as an Apple ID for your Gmail address in the Apple ID with the Gmail address. Then, when the Gmail address is no longer used in an Apple ID, you can use the same instructions to substitute the Gmail address for the Yahoo address in the Apple ID with the Yahoo address.

For the game freezing, have you tried closing it via the phone's taskbar, doing a soft-reset of your phone, and if they don't fix it reported it to the game's developer ? -

Sam.. I still got that message too. I went ahead and sync'd anyways.
Make sure you have it all backed up... transfer your purchases to itunes (done in itunes).. then there is not much else you can do but hit the sync button.
For me.. my thoughts were... I could probaby download any magazines again.. recreate any documents if I had to.. I have mostly business related stuff and art work I created from the drawing apps on my I pad.. purhaps not as big an investment as you.. however.. in the end.. I didn't lose anything. it all transfered for me to the new library..
not much else I can say... I found a blog where another person was having the same issue...pretty much they recommended the same steps that I followed..

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.) -
TS3212 I unistalled Itunes and then installed new itunes, It's still giving me the error message
I tried to upgrade my itunes to the new 10.6.3 . It said that it was completed and to restart the computer, I did and when I click on the itunes icon it gives me an error message and to reinstall. I follow that procedure and it still doesn't work. So then I removed it completely and downloaded it new from the website and I'm still getting the same error message.

I have an iphone that is locked to orange and have been waiting over 50 days now for it to be unlocked and keep getting fobbed off with promises to sort it out. I have updated my iPhone 3Gs to the latest software in an attempt to iron out a problem with a new telephone network provider (Tmobile). I had backed up my phone before I did this. Now I have lost my music and apps. I can't sync the phone with my Mac, I can't re-download from iTunes as the phone says I don't have any music or apps available to re-download although it all shows up on my Mac. The music and app content cannot be restored when I try to restore the phone from the back up I madeon my Mac. Help!
Working on that now. I'm just getting frustrated that everytime I run updates for the phone I end up with tech problems that I have to spend time solving as opposed to updates that actually improve my usage. Now I will once again get to spend hours reloading my phone all for updates that didn't affect my usage in the first place.
