I updated my IPad to the new 7 version. My iCloud account on iPad using wrong email/ iCloud account info.
I updated my iPad to the 7 version.
In iCloud my apple ID is old, and I went to update.
Which is by deleting the iCloud account, however when I go to delete account.
It prompts me to enter my password for my old Apple ID and not allowing me to delete account.
I did try to enter info for old account to see if it would work. But it does not.
I get the message need to enter password required to turn off "find my iPad"
If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should then be able to turn off Find My iPhone with your password. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back and change your primary email address and iCloud ID back to the way it was. You will then be able to go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current ID and password to reconnect to your iCloud account.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to get them to reset the password for it so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You will have to prove your identity to them in order to do so. You can either contact iTunes support for assistance with this (https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html), or contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).

uninstall all the apple application S/w like Quicktime, Bonjour,
apple Device Support, Apple Auto update, Itunes etc from your pc,
Reboot it
Now download a fresh itunes from apple and try installing
Reboot it
If you are having Problem in uninstalling any of the apple application
try 'revo uninstaller' and uninstall all the apple applications

I recently updated my iTunes to the new version. When I opened it I found that there were no details listed on the SONGS page. On all other pages the relevant pictures/details appear. Although there are no details showing on the songs page, the songs are obviously there as when you click on a line it plays the song that should be listed. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for the suggestion... but I think my first question would be why these parameters would need re-setting? This is a new machine... It has never been shut down hard. It is used at most 10 hours per week... mostly using Office 2004 for MAC. I need to figure this out as I will soon need it as a Cs2/CS3 - Aperture workhorse.
I too agree that it is best not to use a sledge when a scalpel is needed... but as a novice to the MAC world I may have been misled by Apple support. I seems to have fixed the symptoms ( some) but appears NOT to have addressed the cause... which is what I am after.

For several months now I have not been able to find a solution to either of these two problems. When I have the Apple Software Update program open and I click update, it loads for a second and then goes back to the usual page saying to update. It will not update. I have also tried, multiple times, to install the new current version of iTunes and that won't work either. I've tried to repair iTunes by going to Control Panel > Programs > Repair and it still won't work. Please help because I'm trying to download a new app but it requires the new version of iTunes. I am using a Windows Vista and I'm this is for my 4th generation iPod touch.
Did you try simply downloading the latest version of iTunes using the link below and then installing it on top of the older version?

Multiple app updates that are not the new version??
I check for updates for my iPhone apps daily. Well, yesterday I checked and it had multiple apps that said needed to be updated, but I checked the version number it was an older version. When I leave that page(the update page) and come back I get a different list of apps. Sometimes it says I need just 1(which I do) and sometime is shows 4 or more. The only thing I have done lately was installed an older version of an app(because the new version wasn't installing on my phone[v2.2]) Is that what caused this mess? I don't really want to update to 2.2.1 just yet.
P.S. It does this in iTunes and on my iPhone.Something is definitely funky.
In itunes it has a 12 by the apps, meaning there should be 12 updates. But when I go to update all apps, it only shows 2.
edit - well, when I went to update the 2 it was showing, it ended up showing all 12.

I installed Mavericks to my computer and iPhoto isn’t working it has a grey no working symbol over it. So I tried to download the new version of iPhoto but it starts to download and just gets to 10.2MB and starts all over after about 3 mins of doing this it comes up with an error message saying an error had occurred. I have tried downloading several times restarting the computer and downloading and still get the same thing over and over again. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I want to update from ios 4.3 on my ipad 2. When I connect to itunes(newest version is installed) on pc, and attempt the update, I get a message to backup , or l will lose items purchased on the ipad. I don't have icloud yet, because when I try to add it to my ipad, I am told I need the newest version of ios. So it's a vicious cycle! I tried to buy itunes match, and I wasn't able to do that either! I have downloaded books, and songs on ipod that aren't able to be in my itunes library from CDs. What should I do and in which order, to protect my stuff from getting lost with the update?
Backup with iTunes. If iTunes is asking you if you want to backup, say yes to that and it will backup your iPad. Have you ever synced with this computer before?
My boilerplate response for anyone that wants to update the iOS.
What you should do anytime that you update the device is to transfer purchases from the iPad into iTunes - File>Transfer Purchases - and you should backup the iPad as well. When you update the update the device, if something goes wrong, you can restore from the backup.
However, iTunes should ask if you want to backup before you update, but just in case create the backup yourself before you update. The backup contains your app data and settings - along with other items - so make sure you backup first.
If you have any other important files, you may want to transfer them to your computer as well, prior to the update.
