I updated my iPhone 3GS to ios5, all apps and photos are restored but lost all contacts? I've restored it and it doesn't work, I've changed the iCloud settings to off on contacts then back on, I've tried loads but I can't get them back. Please help!
It's weird as I did back it all up and whatever I try it doesn't work! I spoke to apple and they wanted to charge me!!!!
Your contacts are available with your iCloud online address book - when you log in with your iCloud account via webmail access using a browser on your computer, your contacts are available there?

Your iCloud backup doesn't contain your music. It will restore music purchased from the iTunes store to your iOS device if you restore the backup by redownloading it from the iTunes store. You can also redownload music purchased from the iTunes store to your iTunes library on your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519. This will not recover music from other sources.
To transfer music from your phone to your computer, you will need to extract it using 3rd party software such as Touch Copy. -

They're not lost, they simply don't show because you settings ask it not to.
Go to Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendar --> Calendar --> Sync --> All events -

I had the same problem but looking at what everyone else said, I simpley slowly started to click on all the tabs in the app store, let them load completely, and then clicked back to the updates afterwards. It worked after a little while

I would suggust:
1 to create a big camera for i pads and ipods and iphones so we can put it in another ipad or ipod or iphone and it has a zoom lens
2 when i downloaded photos and music from a computer to my ipad , i cant delete them now plese do the itunes like samsung becuz samsung have an easier way to download thing from computer

H.MThe iPad 1 can't run the newer operating systems. It'd be like trying to play a bluray disc in your 6 year old dvd player....it simply lacks the hardware to make the software run.
No suggestion about the camera, but given that Apple's attitude seems to be to focus more on the more mobile devices for photography (the iPhone and Touch cameras got features, the iPad and mini didn't), that is highly unlikely. You can tell Apple what you want, but you'd probably be money ahead to get a digital camera.
as to the photos, anything put on via iTunes has to come off via iTunes.Your main alternative would be to look for photo apps that offer file exchange that may give you more functionality. -
I ripped a new CD to iTunes and backed up to the cloud. The songs are already on my iPhone 4S, but I can't get them on my iPad. I already connected the iPad to my laptop and selected "Sync with the iPad over Wi-Fi". On the iPad I forced a Sync. Help!

Quick update, the duplicate of the comic-con episode downloaded succesfully, and so has the first episode of Supernatural season 8. Blue dots appear to their left in the library.
All the Vampire Diaries episodes (except the bonus comic-con double) have vanished, but I paid for them !
They're not anywhere on my harddrive either.
Which is new by the way, this is a new MacbookPro, literally set it up today.
So it would seem this is a case of purchased and pseudo-downloaded episodes that ended up beinge gobbled up by some iTunes black hole, leaving me with no money, and no episodes.
Need help, confirmed. -

Apple and/or iTunes support can't locate it for you, only you can potentially locate it via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone / Find My iPad on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPhone disabled on it.
If it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc. -
I have a MacBook Air with OS X and am having trouble accessing the ADT Pulse Home Security System cameras. The mobile (iPhone and iPad) apps allow access no problem, but I can't get a picture on the MacBook. Have tried Safari and Firefox browsers. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Hi, i had the same problem. Try to find the file "apple" or "itunes" don't know it anymore exactly. Ahm well you need to delet any information or just plug in your iphone into an other computer. important is that your iphone never has been pluged in this computer before. This was what i did, and it worked!
