Everything on your ipod should be on your computer and you should be syncing regularly.

I have the same problem. It's showing old podcasts that are available for download and I already watched and I don't want to see them again and I don't want them listed in my iTunes. This latest upgrade is a piece of junk so far. It destroyed my itunes podcast listing on my Windows Machine. I have no intentions of upgrading to iOS7 or my Mac until I hear that things are fixed.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

Delete the cookie and cache of any website you visited that you are uncertain about. That's in your browser preferences. What Mac operating system and browser are we talking about?
Did you attempt to download any software from the website, or just visit the link on the e-mail? Or did you attempt to open an attachment on the e-mail?

There was a glitch obviously. I recommend a restart. While the phone is powered on, hold the power and home button. Keep them held down while the phone powers down and starts back up don't release till you see the apple logo.

Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, follow Troubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to performunauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. First you must uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer, then edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from the hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. My external drive has disappeared although i shows up in disc utility, and flash drives also do not appear. Any ideas? Have tried restarting but.....

My back-up has stopped as my external drive is shown as "not accessible" and has disappeared from Finder although it shows up in Disc Utility. Similarly my USB flash drive has disappeared. Restarting does not help! Any ideas?

That's good news but maybe run a Repair Disk on it anyway given that it has been somewhat unpredictable.

Hi TheJohnParr, for your Thunderbird (email client) issue, I suggest having a different question for that, and we could focus on your Firefox search engine issue in this thread.
You can review, disable, and usually remove extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Command+Shift+a
* Tools menu > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

By the way, the address bar works a bit different from the search boxes (home page search box or toolbar search box). If you enter a single word without spaces in the address bar (e.g., hobbit or mozilla.org) then Firefox will first check with your service provider on whether it is a known server name. Sometimes these queries are hijacked by your service provider to show you search results. By comparing your search in the address bar and the search box, you can see whether this is the issue.

I just downloaded my Leopord onto my Macbook and I can't get into my Gmail account. It almost loads all the way and then stops. Also Facebook wont load all the way or keeps reloading and wont stop. The whole page never loads.

Ok, first thing, why are you doing anything with WAMP or XAMPP when you're running a Mac? MAMP should be what you want unless you're not explaining part of what you are trying to do.
2nd thing, I haven't used MAMP in a while, but there are two possibilities for not seeing what you want to see once you have MAMP turned on. One possibility is that you already have "Web Sharing" turned on in your Sharing Preference Pane. If that is the case, port 80 will already be taken and you'll be seeing the default Apache install (files are stored at /Library/WebServer/Documents/). This would push MAMP to either not turn on it's web serving capabilities, or to push it to another port. The other possibility is that MAMP defaults to another port anyway. So instead of localhost, you might have to type in localhost:8080 or something similar. I believe the control panel that gets installed can take you to the currently MAMP-served page, and it can also help you change which port your serving on.
80 is the default port for web serving and the ONLY port that will let you get straight to the server without having to type in webaddress.com:port# instead of just webaddress.com.

i just got a macbook pro harddrive wasn't good so got a new one in and bought mac os x 10.6 to install.
unfortunately after inserted the disc in the drive, and press the alt key, a padlock shows up requiring a password but a don't have the password. there is nothing on the harddrive running. is there anything you can help me with. thank you.

I'm confused
I took this to mean that your DID have an install disk.
By holding down the "C" key, you are booting to the install CD.
Alternatively, you can hold down the "option" key, to select which drive to which you want to boot.
