I updated my iPod to iOS6 now it won't work in my car...HELP!?!?

I did the latest update, everything seemed fine, then went and plugged connected it to my car (2012 Maxima) hit play tried to move to the next song and all of a sudden it didn't work. Then I plugged in an iPod that wasn't updated and it worked just fine. HELP!?!?

You can try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
However, sometimes an iOS update breakes compatibility with car systems. I would also contact the car manufacturer.

I was updating my itouch that I got in September to the IOS 5 and everything went fine until the end of the update when it was creating a new back-up of the information on the itouch. When I saw that it didn't work and it told me to restore the previous bakc-up I tried that, but nothing happened. Itunes was doing a lot of work but my ipod touch didn't show that anything was happening. My ipod touch wants me to go back through the set up and when it gets to the part where you can restore a previous back-up I tell it to do that. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

No - I updated my iphone last week to ios 6 and now when I use my phone in my car to listen to my music on the iphone it says 'no directory...'. I tried another iphone, just updated, and it said the same thing - then I asked if I could use a iPod, it's the old version ios 5 and it worked fine.

A few minutes ago (10 November 2010 18:00 GMT approx) I downloaded an update to Firefox Sync after getting a prompt and now it won't work. It is not listed under tools as before or in the browser taskbar. It appears as a green jigsaw-puzzle-piece in my list of add-ons saying "this add-on will be installed when you restart Firefox". I have restarted FF about 5 times now and it still won't install. I have the most up to date version of FF.

I assume Google toolbar extension is not compatible with Firefox 5.

The screen repair was botched. Take iPhone back to place of screen repair, and have them get the home button working again.

So what happens if you go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General? Are you able to go there at all? If you are able to go there, can you unlock the preferences using the lock in the lower left and your login name and password?
If you are able to do this, can you change the "Allow applications downloaded from:" to Anywhere?

HT4623 I just updated my ipod touch and now it won't turn on

I updated it then turned it on, it turned off so i turned it on again and put it on my dock to charge, now it has a navy blue/almost black screen with the apple logo. I have tried pushing the lock screen and home screen button but it isn't working. I have tried turning it off while pushing the HOME and LOCK button but whenever i do that it just turns back to the logo and then once it went to a blue screen with purple gradient. WHAT IS HAPPENING!

Open iTunes on your computer.
Press and hold down the Home button First then connect the cable to the computer.
Release Home button when connect to itunes appears on device.
iTunes will prompt a message that says, iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK.
You will be taken to the iPhone pane. Then, click on Restore.
Wait for the full restoration process to complete, Set up device “as new”.

I tried updating my Macbook Pro and now it won't work?

I had OS Mountain Lion 10.8.2 for my MacBook Pro (version: late 2012) and I tried updating the operating system. The update was about three out of seven minutes in when a box popped up and said there was an error updating and that the process must restart. I clicked "okay" and waited for a couple of minutes but my screen was all gray and nothing else. I thought my MacBook froze, so I manually restarted it by holding down the power button and then pressing it again and now my screen is gray with the apple symbol and black coded text with writing such as "Unable to find driver for this platform", "Mac OS Version: Not yet set" and "System uptime in nanoseconds: 242856217", along with a series of codes such as " panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff8008c59241)". The screen is stuck like this and will not change. I have tried manually restarting it but it just keeps showing this screen. How can I fix this?

Reboot your laptop while holding the alt/option key then I prefer you connect your laptop to an Ethernet cable because wifi gets slow . We'll, now choose the recovery driver. After that choose reinstall whatever software and just wait for a few hours for the thing to install and then your basically done hopefully no files will be earased since that is what I did and everything was perfectly fine no files lost, nothing

What exactly dd you do? Backin up your pictures is ot the same as backing up your iPhoto library - and if you pur your iPhoto library on an external drve it must be formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) - if you backed up your iPhoto library then siply drag it back to the picture folder and launch iPhoto

Updates failing to install and now RAW won't work

Just reinstalled Photoshop CS5 on a new computer... Photoshop is working fine until I imported new shots and tried to edit them in RAW.
Wouldn't read the data.
So ran all the updates.. only BRIDGE, EXTENSION MANAGER & ILLUSTRATOR updates have failed.
All it says is "There was an error downloading this update.Please quit and try again later".
I have... still hasn't worked.
And what's even worst is there seems to be no option to chat directly to Adobe.
This needs to be resolved now as I have a client waiting.
Any ideas?
