I updated my iTunes to 10.5. I see my library but it doesnt react to any commands now

I updated my iTunes to 10.5 which was a big mistake.
iTunes opens normally but it does not react to any commands. I cannot click on any song or field in the menue.
I use a Lenovo 64 bit machine with Windows 7. I also use iCloud.
I tried to repare iTunes several times but it does not help. I also wonder why there is a *32 next to iTunes in my Task Manager although I installed the 64 bit version.

But the iTunes was working fine until some days ago! and then just crash... yesterday it was working well... today it's not working again...

i couldnt update my itune as it was coming up with a warning message so i uninstalled it and now it wont let me re install it? when i hit download off apple website it goes to thank you for downloading itunes but it didnt download.

I just updated to iTunes 11. This version will not allow me to change info on any songs. Have always use "command i" with previous versions. Anyone else experiencing this problem? A solution?
Hey! I had the same problem you did just today when I was trying to get my second iPhone to sync. What you need to do with music or anything extra that you doing you have to creat a second playlist or picture or anything that you would like to use, so that you can add to the second device that you are going to be using. I am not sure if that will help but it helped me out a lot!! Good luck!

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time? -
Since I updated to iTunes 11 my music videos in my library on my computer no longer play through my wireless soundlink. My regular music works but as soon as it hits a music video the sound drops.
Yes I installed the newest version of Quicktime. Still doesn't work even stumped the iTunes tech he says theres some compatibility problem between either the Bose Soundlink or iTunes just weird that my Bose works perfectly fine with my iTouch but keeps dropping the music videos if I'm playing them through my computer...

I recommend conncting the iPhone to the wall charger that it came with, and then reset it.

If your device stops responding, you can reset it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Hi I followed instructions to copy/move iTunes music to a new PC. I can see albums listed in the library but SYNCH will not put any music on my new iPod.
It took three weeks to import my CDs on the old PC and I don't want to do it again!

How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer
Once you have the tracks on some removable medium, you can mount that on your new computer and then just drag the content to the iTunes window. Make sure that the option to "copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" is set in the iTunes -> Advanced -> General preferences before you do. Alternatively, you can use the Add To Library command and select each track (or folder of tracks).
If you won't be using that Windows system once you move the content, don't forget to deauthorize the system from your iTunes Store account before you dispose of the computer.

hi, firstly my ipod touch is working fine in itunes. i reformated my computer so i lost all my old drivers ect ect, so now my ipod shows up as an image device. i have reinstalled itunes several times and installed apple mobile device but still doesnt work, i have also searched for the usbappl or whatever it is and i cant find it, i have usbappl .dll but no .sys or .inf please help
All it is supposed to show up as in Windows is an image device.

I purchased a text tone from Itunes. It shows up in my library, but not as a text tone. Is there a way for me to set it as a text tone for all texts? Or I am stuck with factory settings?
So it is conseidered a customized text tones even if it was purchased through iTunes? Confusing. Since I bought it through itunes as a text tone I assumed it would work. OOOPS

I can see my library, but the iTunes store page will not come up completely. I'm running Windows 7 with iTunes 11.0.5.5.
I ended up reinstalling iTunes and now it's fine.

Updated to iTunes 11.2 on OSX 10.9.3 but it now hangs
I updated to iTunes 11.2 on OSX 10.9.3 after being prompted by Software Update but it now hangs and despite resetting PRAM and restarting, using Disk Utility to both repair permissions and disk, issue still persists. Tried to trash iTunes but not allowed. Any suggestions?
THanks for the help but unfortunatley the upgrade still hasn't fixed the issue. iTunes still hangs and I have no idea what to do next...

You can deauthorise all 5 at once, then reauthorize the one you want.
