I updated my os and entered a password to be able to gain access to my computer....I thought I assisgned it a password but now it says that is not the password. I can't get to my desktop! ....I thought I entered a password but now that I am trying to use my computer....it says it is not the right password! How do I find out the right password?

No. The problem is that when you changed Apple IDs you did not update your Apple ID to reflect the change, so your phone is still associated with the old ID. You will need to un-associate it. Hold the power button and the home button down until the screen goes black and the apple logo appears. This will do a reset and you should be able to update your apps then.

Connect the iPod to yur syncing computer and restore the iPod via iTunes.. If it asks for the passcode and you can't enter it, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

You have to go to SMTP settings for your email account and enter a password there. Sended and receiving are two different activities managed by 2 differet servers, and each may require a separate user ID and password.

Updates do not normally require any kind of password access. It is more likely your machine's security is asking for you to allow things to be updated.

Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

When selecting passwords, make sure it's one that you will NEVER forget AND no one else can figure out.
Old school--- > Print it out & keep in a safe place. A place that ONLY you know about AND never forget.
New school---> Get a password manager utility. Highly recommend 1Password which is shareware. Do a Google search for free password managers.

Sounds like a verification issue on whatever marketplace you bought PS Touch from. Did you try contacting Google or Apple to see what they say?

Similar thing is happening to a relative.
He upgraded his iPhone 5 and lost his iCloud account and all his email accounts. Major pain in the neck for a senior. And it was not a user error...unless you count the fact that he hit the upgrade button.

Why do I have to enter my password 3 times before I can access my iTunes account using a Windows 8.1 pc?
