I updated my ulocked iphone and now I can't do anything at all, how can I repiar this?
My Iphone has been unlocked by att and recently I have updated the phone and now my SIM is unrecognized, how can I repair this?
I'm not completely clear on the GSM / LTE network frequencies in US vs Argentina, but I do know that cross-compatibility can be an issue when buying from one country and using in another. Apple products in particular have this problem. What this sounds like to me is that the phone is not compatible with Argentinian networks; or your friend had an AT&T phone and jail-broke it. This is against the end user licensing agreement, and when the phone is next updated is likely to jam the phone.

Try downloading a free app from the App Store. I don't understand why, but this seems to solve the problem.

If you'll take a look around, almost every 5-10 minutes someone is posting on this subject. I'm personally having the same problem. Everyone (including seniors) is saying that it's just a waiting game. The servers are overloaded, and it because there are millions of people just like us, trying to do the same thing we're doing right now.

I have the same problem. I bought a 3rd party software (tunejack) and it allowed me to transfer my songs to my new pc. Now I can't play them because I am not authorized. It says I am but then it says im not.

I bought iphone 5c phone on Ebay, the seller in the description specified that phone is completely cleared and ready to work. It appeared that the seller didn't disconnect function to find my iPhone and now I can make nothing with phone. Another reason: You said he doesn't understand that find my iPhone is activated. If the phone was originally his, he would have known what it was since he had to turn on find my iPhone to begin with.
Doens't mean they know what FindMyiPhone is or that they even activated it.
Many (most?) users simply click thru without reading anything and don't have a clue what they are clicking on. -
I probably misclicked when I activated the security lock on the iPhone and now I can not figure out what password I entered. Moreover, I have patches and funky looking phone so I can not restore iphine pres itunes. Please advice.
Your only recourse is to force it into DFU mode:
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings. -
