I updated software on ipod and now games wont open please help!!!
i just updated my ipod to the latest software and now when i got to any game it wont open can anyone help me fix this pleaseeeeee

iOS: Troubleshooting applications purchased from the App Store
- Game Center games only
- Do other purchased apps work?
- Do apps that came with the iPod work?
- Have you tried a reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Try downloading/installing a new app.
- Do the apps really open by very quickly close?

Hey guys, Im expierencing problems with itunes after the latest update yesterday(1/22) and the problem im having is when i plugged my iphone into my PC today a virus detection came up and said a trojan horse was present. I also cant open itunes at all. Im confused and dont know what to do. thanks in advance

Alright so My friend let me use his External drive for three month's, I had to reinstall it to the External, losing all my Play counts ratings and what not.
So now my friend took his External back and i moved the music folder and the folder that itunes was installed on to my Desktop. I finally got itunes back up but all the music is missed place and it cant go on the itunes store or retrieve CD Information. Please help.
~SueIt sounds like you need to ask your friend if you can borrow the exHD long enough to copy your music files to your PC's internal hard drive.
They got taken away when the exHD was removed, apparently. itunes (or any other music program, for that matter) won't be able to find or play them if they are no longer around! -
I tried to update my ipod to the newest version and it just ended up not working. Now when I turn my ipod on, it just shows the USB cord plugging into itunes and I cannot get it to even come up on my computer. Not sure how to fix it.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

HT1926 I just tried to update to the latestItunes and now it wont open.
After updating to the lastest version of Itunes now my computer will not open it. It says it is missing MSVCR80.dll and to reinstall. Then when I click ok it pulls up a box that says Error 7 (windows error 126) I tried reinstalling. I don't want to remove it and lose everything. Help!

I have just updated my Ipad mini the latest version (so I am told) but it has stopped my I pad from working and it says that I have to restore it back to factory settings etc. and will lose my data as I dont know whether I have fully back up my photos which I dont wont to lose what do I do??????????????????
If it's in recovery mode, the data is already gone. Why did you never back up your important data?

Make an appointment at the nearest Apple store and see what they can do for you. Some Apple Stores can replace the screens onsite so that may be an option.
The damage will not be covered by warranty so you will have to pay to have the phone serviced or replaced entirely.

I have just agreed to software updates on my imac and now can't open my mail. There is a message saying this version of mail isn't compatible with this latest software. I have located the updated mail in the applications folder but it won't open. I don't have the original operating software disk. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Your reply suggests that you have moved Mail to a different location, which (as I said) will prevent it from being properly updated. You cannot use Mail 4.5 with any recent version of Mac OS X. Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) included Mail 5 and Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) includes Mail 6. I'm assuming that you have either Lion or Mountain Lion, but if that is incorrect, you will need to provide that information.
At this point, you will need to reinstall your system. Hold down command-R at startup and reinstall the system right on top of the old one. This should not disturb any of your documents or applications, though you should have backups beforehand in case something goes wrong. And at this point, with your system in an uncertain state (I don't entirely know what you have done to it), something could go wrong.
You will also want to delete the old copy of Mail 4.5, wherever that is. You can't use it.
In the future, do not move any of the preinstalled applications. Leave them where they are.
