Hi - can someone help please? I recently update to ios 5 from ios 4.3 and updated Itunes to 10. On restart and configuration as part of activation process, it tells me that activation is not possible and itunes tells me that iphone does not have a sim card (it does). I seem to be stuck - can anyone please help?

When I purchased the phone it was supposed to be for AT&T and that is my carrier and the carrier the sim card worked on. If the phone is not for AT&T how do I figure that out and if it needs to be unlocked - how do I do that?

shop CS4That camera was recently supported for the first time by ACR 8.6, which needs at least CS6 to run. You will never be able to open those raw NEF files in CS4, as there will never be an update for CS4.
Your choices are to upgrade, or to use the free, stand-alone Adobe DNG Converter 8.6 on each and every batch of raw NEF files in order to convert them to raw DNGs that you can open in CS4.

How do I get my updated iTunes to recognise my iPhone as it did before?
I spent last week looking for a solution to that little yellow "!" needle haystack....
It is probably buried where nothing can touch or change it other than what I resorted to and would have saved time, clean install after I made sure to have two backup sets: Windows Easy Transfer plus Paragon clone OS and partitions to drive. Had to spend a full day reinstalling, updates, etc. Careful not to bring back any prefs or data that might be corrupt or wrong.
10.5 and iOS 5 on new iPod 4G works much better though and as they should and no issues like I had with AMS or other services or needing to restart first before launching iTunes. -

If you just installed iCloud does that mean you updated the iOS that's running on your iPad? If so, you'll want to restore all the programs you have from the backup you hopefully made.

If you don't want to use iCloud, simply don't activate it.

Every time i connect it to itunes all it says is "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate." Even thought there is a sim card connected in my phone.Is the SIM from a supported carrier?
Is the device carrier locked, officially unlocked, or hacked to be unlocked?
Has the SIM been reseated? If not, try that.
Also, basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore. Has any of that been tried? -
I have an iPhone 4 thats i was trying to fix and now it will not turn on at all is there anyway that i can access my pictures and contacts from my new phone or pc? Aslo the are both on the same apple id but i dont know if that would help or not.
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created. -
I just upgraded my iMac to OS 10.8.5 from 10.6.8 and now I can not get the calendars on my Mac and my iPhone 4s (running iOS 8.3) to sync. I already tried replacing the calendars on the phone with those on my computer but nothing happened.

It's a pre-installed app and therefore cannot be deleted so you may have inadvertently moved it onto a screen or into a folder, check the utilities folder as this is a common one for it to disappear into. Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you if the app it still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where it is. If you find it on one or your screens or in a folder, press the icon until it wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. -
I updated to iOS 8 on iPhone 5s and now iMessage will not verify my email address to use to send/ receive messages. It has said "Verifyng" beside it in settings since yesterday, but has not sent a verification email. I have also tried Adding it as a new email address several times, but get the same outcome. I can still send/ receive texts from my phone number, just not from the email address.
In my iCloud settings under Contact Information for that email address and it shows "pending". When I select "Resend Verification Email" I get "Cannot Connect to iCloud".Hello, Dorian071.

I accepted the push to update my iphone to iOS6....now it will not ring. It blocks calls from my landline. Help! I've tried resetting, etc.
It has been caused in an OTA glitch. You need to hook it up to your computer, restore and update off of iTunes. Good Luck.

You need the 8.2 version of the ACR module, and PS10 is too old to be updated.
So, you can choose between 3 solutions:
- update PSE to PSE12
- use the Canon software to convert the raw files to the tiff format which PSE10 can handle
- download and install the free Adobe DNGconverter which is able to convert a whole folder of CR2 raw files to the Adobe DNG raw format which PSE10 can handle.
The last two solutions are free.
