I updated to Firefox/Mozilla 5 and can't open it - deleted download and reloaded but still nothing
I was running the former version of Firefox/Mozilla and was notified to update to the newer version of 5 which I did and have not been able to open it at all. I have enough hard drive and memory to run it on Windows XP operating system. Tried to go back to the older version but can't do that either. Right now I am using Opera but would much rather use Firefox as I liked it a lot. I am upgrading to another computer soon running the Windows 7 Professional - do you have any reports of Firefox 5 being unable to run on Windows operating systems?
There are a lot of Firefox 5 users still running Windows XP, but everyone's memory and drive space and graphics are a little different, so it's hard to make a blanket statement.
I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and re-run the Firefox 5 installer to see whether that corrects the problem.

If the installer won't run until you exit Firefox, the program may be hung in memory. You can use the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) to shut it down. Check both the Applications tab and the Processes tab.

Im having major problems syncing my iphone 4 to itunes, this problem started after upgrading to ios 5. I have upgraded my itunes, turned sync by wifi on and off but still nothing. Everytime I try to sync my iphone it just says sync cancelled. Please help.....

While a request to print a sent email was being executed (successfully), my attention was diverted away from the computer screen. When I returned, the Firefox "crash" notice was on the screen, but everything appeared fine so I didn't file a report. I exited Hotmail and later signed in and found out I can not open or delete any messages. I exited Hotmail, switched computer user accounts and opened my Hotmail under the computer's administrative account. Under the adm. account my Hotmail works without a problem. Switched back to my computer user account, signed in to Hotmail and the original problem still exists. What can I do to get Hotmail to work in my computer user account?
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I can't open pdf adobe reader files from websites since updating to 5.0. If it truly is incompatible with the update then I need to know how to go back to the older version of Firefox so I can access these files.
Sorry you are having problems. First of all try Fifrefox's safemode.

I have lost my toolbar and dashboard for Firefox..and no way to get it back..I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 3.5.16 the latest version and when it comes up there is no toolbar...so have no way to access my back button nor search..only search I get now is Bing..I really like firefox browser but unable to use..gives me no options..Please help..

Reset all settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings -

My Iphone G is 6 weeks old. Yesterday I plugged in phone, battery was at a little less than half and when I went to use it this morning, there was nothing. I held down the top button and the apple icon would come up but then a few seconds later screen was black again. Did this again and same thing. sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

Itunes no longer recognises my iphone or ipad. Both show they are connected to the computer but I'm unable to sync them. Tried troublesshooting and went in to all programs-accessories-msconfig etc but no joy.
