Nope. Apple does not support going back to a previous version of iOS.
What you might try is restoring to factory settings but DO NOT SYNCH any files. Leave the device with just the factory stuff and then test it. If the device still acts up, then you most likely have a hardware problem.
If the device works fine with just the factory apps, then synch your apps ONE AT A TIME and test the device each time you add an app. If the device starts acting up, remove the last app you installed and test again. If the device runs fine, skip the "bad app," and move on to the next app... Rinse, repeat.
The idea is you may have something installed that doesn't like iOS 6, and this process will help you find it.

I am having such a terrible time getting Photoshop Elements 12 to install on my computer. I've had Dell software support and Adobe support's help but they could only get to the point of JUST the editor being installed. The organizer and the ability to go online never gets installed. After all the files are downloaded and the installation begins a box comes up and wants to uninstall the program. I couldn't get past this part but the software tech got past it. I have spent hours and days trying to get this installed. I've been a big fan of Adobe products but this is the first time I haven't gotten the HELP I need. It has to be a software issue because i've downloaded other programs with no problems. I even went out and brought an external cd/dvd burner and tried installing from the hard cd only to have the same problem pop up. If it helps, I got the Windows 8.1 update maybe this is the problem. Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Notebook and the brightness control on Windows 8.1 not working correctly after an update. I would uninstall all the display adapters that are in the device manager and restart the Notebook. Check to see if if it put an adapter back in , right click on the driver and update.
If that does not help I would uninstall the Graphics drivers restart the Notebook and it should reinstall the correct driver for you.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating.

I have just agreed to software updates on my imac and now can't open my mail. There is a message saying this version of mail isn't compatible with this latest software. I have located the updated mail in the applications folder but it won't open. I don't have the original operating software disk. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Your reply suggests that you have moved Mail to a different location, which (as I said) will prevent it from being properly updated. You cannot use Mail 4.5 with any recent version of Mac OS X. Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) included Mail 5 and Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) includes Mail 6. I'm assuming that you have either Lion or Mountain Lion, but if that is incorrect, you will need to provide that information.
At this point, you will need to reinstall your system. Hold down command-R at startup and reinstall the system right on top of the old one. This should not disturb any of your documents or applications, though you should have backups beforehand in case something goes wrong. And at this point, with your system in an uncertain state (I don't entirely know what you have done to it), something could go wrong.
You will also want to delete the old copy of Mail 4.5, wherever that is. You can't use it.
In the future, do not move any of the preinstalled applications. Leave them where they are. -
The latest automatic update (in March) was accompanied by "You should update Adobe Flash Player right now". Having done this a few days ago a new Firefox update arrived (today 7. March) with the same "request". Why does this happen and what can I do to stop it? Firefox 3.6.15 and Adobe flash player 10.1.82.76 are currently installed.

Can you clarify your problem? Are you having trouble restoring your new iPhone from a previous phone's backup? Or are you having trouble logging into iMessage?

Every time I try to 'OPEN' from within PS, 'ENABLE' is blank, and all my images greyed out. I can drag jpegs, RAWs, whatever onto the PS icon and they will launch, but opening from within PS requires setting 'ENABLE' at the bottom of the open palette
