I updated to iOS 7 and then updated my iTunes.
Now I seem unable to run iTunes or conect my iPhone as my operaing system is too old?
You need to restore the iOS software now because the update was corrupt.

curious about the iOS 5 software that is coming out. If I wait til its release to buy my iPhone 4 will it come with the iOS5 software already on it? or should I go ahead and buy my iPhone 4 and then update the software when the iOS5 is released?

Have to disagree here, Apple have not even announced an iphone 5, it is pointless to speculate that we will see one or not see one until Apple actually releases a statement. ios was built and tested on the iphone 4 so there will not be any slowdown or laggyness compared to a phone that has not been released yet.
If we are advising potential apple product buyers then we should not be putting them off buying a iphone 4 on speculations alone. Just because apple have for the last few years released an iphone every june/july does not mean then have to stick to this approach.
Apple have not issued any statement regarding an iphone 5, until this time it does not exist, only in heresay on the internet.
Any one looking to get an iphone 4, to you i would say waiting until ios 5 is released is a personal choice, no matter if you wait or not you will be able to update via itunes. One way or another in the future you will have to do an ios update via itunes whether this is the 5.0 software or 5,2,1.
Please note that Apple are very closed mouthed about new hardware releases and potentially a new iphone could be round the corner, however there is no evidence to suggerst this, i.e Apple have not even mentioned an iphone 5 this year anything you hear towards the contrary is media spin thus far and speculation.
ios 5 was built and tested to work seamlessly on iphone 4, the beta software released to developers is being tested on iphone 4. Please do not listen to people telling you that the iphone 4 will not run this ios as well as a phone that does not exist yet. When iphone 5 launches it will most likely have dual processors and not until its launch will the next gen apps start appearing. -
I have updated my iOS and now my hotmail will not verify my password through apple mail app. I have reset password - tried new password and old password and it still gives me password incorrect. Hotmail works fine on Mac. Has anyone had this difficulty and been able to resolve it?
Did you try deleting the mail account, then adding it back? I've read a lot of times that is what needs to happen in order for it to work properly.

I have iPhone 4 with updated latest iOS And i am using FIND IPHONE application. But everytime when ever i login in it and serch for the device its shows the device but never give me the location"NO LOCATION AVAILABLE".It is already connected with WIFI and i tried all the stuffs that has been written in the manual. If your router is not identified in a national database (don't recall who maintains it or where it is) then there is no location associated with it. Hence your device cannot be located. I suggest you try your test at some public wifi spot, like a bookstore or coffee shop. These places usually have a location associated with their wifi router.

You should always have your apps on your computer. If you have failed to keep a copy of the old app versions, then you cannot get them back at all.

What iPhone do you have? You can check in settings>>general>> about.
If you have a 3G you cannot update beyond iOS 4.2.1. The 3G is over 4 years old an was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You need the latest ios to run the latest versions of some apps. If you have a 3GS you can update.
If your phone is not responding, reset it by pressing and holding down both the home button ad lock/ sleep button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. -

So, freely; to be running the latest OS.Since Numbers version 2.5 for IOS, the app updates the file format of the spreadsheet, so that it can't be opened by earlier versions of Numbers, regardless of the IOS version. I tested this myself. I created a spreadsheet using the latest version of Numbers on my iPad Mini running IOS 8.1.1. Then found I could not open the spreadsheet on my iPad Air with Numbers version 2.4 running the same version of IOS 8.1.1 or on my MacBook Air running Mavericks.
Spreadsheets created with the latest version of Numbers can only be opened by Numbers 2.5 or later, or on Macs running Yosemite. -

Charge the battery for several hours. Then reset by holding the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.

Did you change your credit card in itunes under your account to one from another country. That sometimes will change the language on your apps try This "Click on your email address in the top right of iTunes to get to your account details, then click the "change" button next to your "Country/Region". Select a country for which you have (access to) a credit card. iTunes will ask you for credit card information when you save this country setting.

I'm trying to update my iOS to 6.0, using iTunes (with my 4s connected via USB and WiFi is on also). I get a message that 'there are purchased items on my iPhone that have not been transferred to my iTunes library. Yet, I can't find those items! Help! When i try to do a software update, it finishes and then says that the update cannot be saved because it has probably been corrupted during the download. This has happened a number of times and i do not know why, any help?
