I upgraded Firefox, and now there is a blue band on my screen above the window, and I'm not getting the full use of the screen in viewing web pages. How can I get the window to expand to fill the screen as it did before?
There is a horizontal band or gap above the Firefox window at the top of the screen, where you can see the Windows desktop behind the Firefox window. On the left side of this band are the window tabs, and the menu bar, and another bar with the names of the open windows. I would like to have the Firefox window expand to fill the entire screen, like it did before the upgrade. Thanks.
Do you mean running Firefox in full screen mode?

If you are in full screen mode then you can hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.<br />
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

You can also run Firefox in a maximized window to have easier access to the Menu bar and Navigation Toolbar.

I lost my iphone 4, got a iphone 5 and try to restore the iphone info from my laptop. But the itune requires a password, which I forgot (I set this up two years ago!). How can I get into my itune to restore the iphone info.
Go to appleid.apple.com and try to login there. If unsuccessful, there is a link to change your password.

After updating to mavericks I have to constantly enter my apple ID for mail, iBooks, iTunes and many other applications that used to be part of my keychain. How can I get my apple ID log-in to work again?
Several times I've re-entered my passwords under Preferences/Internet Accounts/iCloud and it won't save since I've installed Mavericks. Also, the iCloud icon in the left column in Preferences/Internet Accounts/iCloud is greyed out but allows me to click on it to set-up. When I click on iCloud the password is filled out but the "Enable this account" check-box is not checked. I check it, and all seems correct. The icon is no longer grey, the password is correct, the "activate this account" check-box is checked. Then, when I launch mail, notes etc. I'm still prompted to re-enter my apple ID. The log-in loop continues. For years my keychain has worked perfectly. What has changed in Mavericks?

Hi. the email application has been removed from my ipad. I don't have back up so how can I get it back?
It is not possible to remove the Mail app (or any other of the bundled apps) from the iPad. It's probably been moved to another Home screen or inadvertently placed in a folder. If you can't find it, you can reset the Home screens in the General -> Reset preferences.

Getting the request for a serial number means that at some time you had the iWork ’09 trial installed. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user. The easiest way to fix the problem is to use Yvan Koenig's AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip. Download uninstall iWork '09.zip, decompress it, open it in AppleScript Editor and click the Run button.
Apple's support article on the subject says it's due to having a copy of the trial that is a higher version that the one you've purchased, but I'm not sure that is very common. This problem started with Snow Leopard & it seems to be some code in the iWork installers that doesn't do what it should. -

Lion will only let you add documents to iCloud through iCloud.com, iCloud.com requires the iOS apps before you can use it.
Mountain Lion will let you add documents to iCloud from the iWork apps themselves, you don't then need the iOS apps before they can be opened on another Mac. -

The best way to get the songs in the order that you want is to make a playlist and then sync it over. Once the playlist is set, all you have to do is set to sync playlist in the music tab.

I backup my iphone onto itunes on my laptop. Recently I got a new laptop, so that counts at two itunes locations.
Unfortunately this new laptop was faulty and had to be set up again from scratch.
Apple now says that's three itunes locations when in fact it's two.
How can I get this changed back to two locations?If by locations you mean "authorized computers" then one of your computers (apparently the new laptop) may be using multiple authorizations.

Was using Chrome - now using Firefox 8.0.1
I copied and imported bookmarks from Chrome, but they only show up on the 2nd tier drop-down "Bookmarks" tab. How can I get them to show up on the Book marks Toolbar (without re-bookmarking them all)? Thank you.Re-arrange those bookmarks so they are in the Bookmarks Toolbar folder.
