I upgraded Firefox to the latest version, and now it is very very very slow. Can I get back to version 2.0?
I have a computer running Windows XP and it's about 5 years old. I upgraded to Firefox 3.6 (or whatever the decimal is now) and now it runs sluggishly slow. Is there a way I can get back to my previous version of Firefox?

I've always been able to minimize all my windows by double clicking the title bar. Yes, I could click the yellow button -- I just want the old feature back because I do it so automatically. Now when I double click the title bar it opens a new tab. I was able to do this with all the previous versions of Firefox as well.

i followed instructions on line and reset the pixels the wrong way and now the font is so tiny that I cannot even see it to adjust.

After having done this and have restarted and closed Firefox you can remove the user.js file because otherwise you can't make changes to this pref that will last. -

Did this back along to mine. Plug it into itunes on your pc (or Mac) and click on the ipod icon on the left hand side. When the device options come up on the main screen, click on restore. Follow the steps and it should restore to factory settings. If you had icloud activated on the ipod all previous purchases should be in the cloud and ready to download onto the ipod afte rit has been restored to factory settings, otherwise you'll have to download them all again. I tried to update my itune with the latest update and now i can't use itune at all . I have tried reinstalling it . all get is MSVCR80.dll and then I get Error 7 (windows erreor 126) . Need help please .
Similar problem here. iTunes11 notified me it was available. However, auto-update failed. So, I downloaded for manual update. That failed with "permission" message. I am administrator on this machine (WIN7). I tried uninstalling old version, but it failed with same permission issue. I now can't start iTunes... throws permission message. So, I'm completely dead in the water. Does this stuff get tested before it's shipped?

My Mac will not allow me to downlode the latest iTunes and now I can not connect my phone and computer. THis is very frustrating! HELP!!!
Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac". Write down what it says about "version"and report that here. Now continue to "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).
Even my 12 year old Mac lets me download the newest iTunes. Of course I can't install it but any computer can download the installer files so we need to know precisely what you are trying and what error messages you are seeing. -

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't normally lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. Note that in iTunes 11 an "empty" library may show your past purchases with links to stream or download them.
In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
Alternatively, depending on exactly when and why the library went missing, there may be a more recent .tmp file in the main iTunes folder that can be renamed as iTunes Library.itl to restore the library to a recent state.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
Would you mind telling me which anti-virus package you use? It may be that it is disturbing iTunes when it tries to write out the fresh database, as it does after almost any activity with your library. I'm noticing more of this type of problem than usual and trying to see if there is any pattern. It may help to prevent a repeat of the problem if you look at the advanced options for your AV package and see if you can find a way to exclude the main iTunes library folder (and subfolders if possible) from any real-time scanning process.
