I upgraded iTunes, put it in the Cloud and now I have no music on my iTouch
The upgrade erased it and it won't sync and my settings on my iTouch says I am in the cloud. What do I do on my PC to get my content to show up? I have watched tutorial and can't find the preferences tab they are talking about in the store. Also, how do I upload content that was not purchased in the iTunes store?
If you want all the songs from an artist on your phone you can to to the artist view, tap on the artist, scroll to the bottom of the list and you will see a Download All button. This works for playlists and albums too (scroll to the bottom and tap the Download All button). I suppose if you wanted all your music on your phone you could create a smart playlist in iTunes on your computer that would contain all your music, upload it to iTunes match (Store>Update iTunes Match), and then you would get a Download All button at the bottom of this playlist on your phone to download all your songs.

I upgraded my ipod to version 10.5 and now I have no music on my ipod.
All my music is still in my itunes library so I try reload them onto my ipod but only a couple transfer over. The songs and videos I purchased from the iTunes store don't transfer over at all. I have already rebooted both my computer and my ipod a couple of times and there is no change. I am not sure what else to do to try and fix it.
Well, just plugged in my ipod and noticed that the capacity bar looked different then usual. Since the update,it has shown the "other" portion taking up over 9GB of space. Now it is at 0.99GB. So, I went into my music tab and found all of my music there!! I don't know if it just takes awhile for everything to balance out and go back to normal or what, but it is fixed now. I am so releaved.

I used a usb turntable to import old vinyl records into iTunes. Then with the cloud and iTunes match I put them on another Mac. The songs come up in the music list but they are greyed out. How do I get them recognized. The symbol states the songs were downloaded from iCloud. I would like to get them to play so that I can make a playlist, and burn a CD.
Try:

- Reset all settings

I upgraded to OS8 for my Iphone 5 and now I have no access to e-mail and several apps. How can I address this problem? For those who have an iphone 5 I recommend not upgrading to the new OS until these bugs are resolved.
I foolishly downloaded OS8 on my iPhone 4S. It not only greyed out my wifi button making it impossiblr to use wifi, but bluetooth connection doesn't work either. I reset the phone to factory settings but that did nothing apart from loose all my photos and contacts. OS 8 was still on after too. Apple say it is a problem but the download only brought the fact the hardware was faulty to the fore, but not being under warranty , the repair would cost £166 that I would have to pay. Totally unacceptable. If the problem was known and they knew it would cause problems on older models, why have it bob up on iTUNES for download.
Don;t download it guys, APPLE aren't admitting culpability and it will cost you a fortune to put right!! -
my friend gave me her ipod about 2 years ago. neither of us know the passcode and now we have no way to link it to the original itunes account. is there a way i can reset it so i can use it?
I have tried plugging it in and holding the sleep/wake button and home button at same time and all it does is gives me the "slide to power off" option. Is there anything I can do??? Please Help!

Hello, I downloaded an ntfs systemfile from tuxera and used it to convert a usb stick so I could put more than the fat32 4gb on, my Imac froze a while after so I turned it off the on and now I have blue vertical lines on boot up and the a white screen with lots of tine blue symbols after, mouse pointer moves but thats about it.
Have used R and cmd to get a menu up but once I choose one of the four options my mouse is rendered useless and I cant get any further, have downloaded, to another usb stick recovery disk assisstant and am trying to use that in conjunction with the lion option on the previously mentioned screen, computer was responding really slowly and has now frozen on the terms of software license agreement (maybe the last hurdle!) can anyone pleeeeeease help!!!!!??????It's likely that the boot drive is failing, or that there's some other hardware fault. Run the Apple Hardware Test.

Big Mistake, I upgraded to OS X Mavericks this morning and now I have lost all my e-mail folders where I was saving important e-mails. I did a mailbox rebuild and it did not bring them back. Should not have upgraded?
I do not remember what version of OS it was. I have carbonite back up but I am not sure it backed up my e-mail.

I've discovered an interesting "feature" of iOS7.1 for the iPad (4th gen).
Since upgrading, I can no longer play music that is in the cloud and when trying to switch to a song that has been downloaded to the device, it won't play either; however, the equilizer graphic indicates that something is playing (bouncing up and down) but the song position indicator stays at 0:00.
Eventually, iTunes/Music (not sure what to call it these days since Apple can't seem to decide either) gives up on the song selected, the on that is not playing, and moves to the next song. If the next song is local to the device, music plays, if it's another song in the cloud, the pattern repeats until it hits a downloaded song. Have also discovered, after my various and simple testing efforts, that I can no longer download songs from the cloud - I was able to download one song but afer that. . .kaput.
It takes a special level of brilliance to send out an update that breaks your own applications/code. . .particularly one so core to the device.
Two words for future releases. . ."Quality Assurance".I had a similar problem. Try resetting and erasing the phone and restoring from a known good backup.
